Hotel 1110  

Location was great. Roof top deck has amazing views. The free breakfast was made for each person as they sat down. The meal was delicious.

The room was small. Not much room to walk around the bed.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were absolutely superb!

Cocktail hour, breakfasts, bed and bedding, roof top lounging area. Staff was excellent.

Like a European B&B, and a bit exotic and Mediterranean. Staff are most thoughtful. Decor offers artistic visual delights. Parking is good, although here and there.

Rooms are fairly small, ok for city trip.

The decor was exquisite! The hotel was across the street from the beach and rec trail with a rooftop patio that is open 24 hrs. Its a small hotel (19 rooms) with personal service including free happy hour and hot gourmet breakfast each day served by the owners. The upgraded rooms are well worth the price. Its an adult only hotel so it is quiet, elegant, and intimate. I could walk or ride my bike all around the beach and downtown area.

The hotel parking lot is very small and hard to get to. Most parking is on the street, but it was close and free.

Bed was comfortable

No hot water. Room super small. The on line ad was mis leading. No screens on windows. Can't control own temp in room. Power lines outside windows had loud buzzing noise constantly. Street traffic was loud and no parking for guests at all.

Friendly service. Good breakfast. Generous extras such as drinks and nibbles. Owners and staff vedy obliging.

Parking was limited. Hotel faced main road and was quite noisy. Hotel was not much to look at from outside. Much better when you got inside and met the staff.

We booked the 1110 hotel as our penultimate stop on a 3 week California drive holiday. After reading some negative reviews after booking we were a little wary but needn't have been. The welcome we received when checking in was very warm, the decor was gorgeous and the hotel had a really lovely feel. The room, though a little small, was beautifully decorated and the shower was amazing!!! Steps from the beach, 10 mins stroll to fishermans wharf and main town but without the huge room rate, a lovely roof terrace and the rate included breakfast??? Lush!! Impressed. So assuming you don't mind a smaller room (there are larger rooms available but would be slightly more) you'll really enjoy your stay here, we did!!

Parking is very limited but there is free street parking just adjacent to the hotel, just ask the lovely owners and they'll show you. It wasnt an issue and its a very safe area.

Great customer service, great breakfast, cosy rooms, great roof top bar, and great showers and jet bathtubs!

Appearance from the outside was not great, nor parking.

Its location is wonderful, virtually across the road from where we hired the kayaks to see the sea otters. Its very quirky and boutiquey.

I didn't like how the staff left at 10pm and locked the outside door. As we only arrived at 9pm we didn't see or hear anybody else and it just felt a little strange.

The lady who checked us in was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The complimentary happy hour was a good opportunity to meet others staying at the hotel and the ambiance was nice, we sat on a sofa by the fireplace. The staff were VERY friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. The room was totally updated. The bathroom was updated and the shower/jaccuzi was fantastic! The roof was a patio where you can sit and watch the ocean while sipping your drink.

The room was VERY small, would have been nice to have a little larger room.

We loved the decor and the bathtub was awesome. The roof top was so cute and very relaxing.

The staff was friendly, breakfast and the coffe was awesome, location to the beach was great, bath/jet tub was nice

The Hotel owner needs to either sell her business or greatly improve her people skills...be warned breakfast is only a french toast...nothing more. It is also located a fair walk from the main areas in Monteray.

Smart little Boutique Hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities, including WiFi, and magnificent views of the Pacific from the sundeck. Close to Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row, with all the restaurants and activities that are there. Included a good quality breakfast which was a an added bonus.

Notch up the cleaning just a little, and this would be an excellent hotel, but nothing was too grubby!

Small room-but still nice.

the intimacy of the Hotel was great. I enjoyed interacting with the owners personally. they worked very hard to make sure our stay was pleasant. the food was outstanding. nice quiet place to stay slightly away from the warf and conference center area (which I liked). A great value for the accommodations.

It is a very unique hotel, run in a freindly way. Interesting decor. Friendly atmosphere in the bar, especially during happy hour. Interesting breakfast, made me think they really should offer an evening meal service.

The location is not the best and it is necessary to venture out should you require an evening meal, although there is not a lot in the immeadiate vicinity, the main town and wharf is about half a mile.

Total ripoff! I was deceived by the the photos on the website. Could not believe this dump was the same hotel. Crazy over prized and I don't recommend any one to stay here., Read the negative Yelp reviews first, wish I had, they really accurate ,,

I agree with others in that the hotel doesn't look much from the outside - I had looked at the pictures beforehand and recognised it on the street otherwise I might have missed it. The interior of the hotel is fun, quirky and full of surprises. Nashua was most welcoming and made our stay memorable. The rooms are cosy and comfortable with bathrobes and jacuzzi and massage shower. The breakfasts are 2 course and different everyday and were worth the trip. Parking could be tricky when the hotel is busy but we didn't have any problem parking free behind the hotel. The hotel is across the street from the beach and 20 minutes easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf. There isn't much around the hotel at night but after a day watching sealions, seals, sea otters and whales we were happy to enjoy the complementary drink in the bar before chilling in the jacuzzi. Clean, Hip, awesome room. Cozy, Romantic and completely adequate amenities in room Good location, not far from the attractions at Monterey. Fresh Breakfast. Free WiFi. Really happy with our stay at hotel 1110

Too much syrup on the french toast...

The cheery, friendly hostess, the solid feeling, the remodeling of the 1926 hotel done with care to last another fifty years, the pottery dishes, glasses, not plastic, fine art work on the wall, the gold and marbel interior, the breakfast, the service to make me feel comfortable and welcome, and talking with the hostess and other travelers Hotell 1110 was business doing a good job and willing to do so.

The noise of the street, reminded me of home, I wanted more beach like quite.
