We enjoyed the location and it was quiet at night. The breakfast was very nice and the service was friendly.
All of it..
Breakfast was great. The people were very friendly.
I think te beds were a queen but were more like a double. There was not a shuttle to the track as in previous years.
The breakfast was delicious
Far enough away from the main strip of Broadway so it wasn't loud at night, but a quick walk to all stores and restaurants. It was a two minute drive to the track and very walkable. The restaurant in the Inn was excellent with a great live band. The complimentary breakfast was delicious.
There were not enough parking spots on premises.
the decor of the room. the friendly bar tender. location, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We stayed for 1 night in a 2 double bedded room, tastefully decorated, unusual wooden beds. Ensuite clean and modern. Lovely old building which has been kept in order with modern facilities. Easy to walk to shops and not far from the state park too.
I loved the victorian features inside that shows the history and charm of The Inn. The victorian style beds were absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. Breakfast choices and quality of food was excellent.
Bathroom very nice. Room very clean.
Ac loud and odor, couldn't open window in bedroom. Reserved a king size bed, got two double beds. Received a nonplused response from desk clerk when I brought up issues.
THE LAYOUT AND THE CLOSENESS TO TOWN EASY WALK QUAINT LITTLE HOTEL AND GOOD FOOD
THIS IS MINUTE BUT DID NOT REPLACE BATH ITEMS SOAP,SHAMPOO ETC. AFTER THE FIRST DAY
it was a nice old hotel in town.good food
a little musty air conditioner didnt work so well.
Clean, comfortable, lovely room, great location.
Buffet breakfast wasn't great.
Location good and still lots of old world charm
Too few staff to cover dining room. Styled as fine dining but rare filet Mignon was medium/well done. Breakfast chaotic - clear your own tables. No management presence whatsoever. Time to look elsewhere!
the hotel is filled with history, lovely to stay in. None of that rush feeling associated with the newer hotels. Rooms are beautifully decorated and clean, but historically furnished. The staff is attentive and respectful. Food is excellent
There's nothing to dislike.
A very traditional style hotel in a great location. We really enjoyed staying here and would recommend to others.
Very nice room and breakfast. We liked the historical aspect.
Noisy air conditioner
Beautiful rooms and clean. Nice breakfasts, except for muffins, etc. Great location.
Lamp wasn't working in Room 332. Not a big deal but annoying. Baked goods at breakfast need improvement--doughy and not very tasty.
Good location, large king room, good breakfast, enjoyed staying at a Historic Inn.
Housekeeping did not replenish toiletries - had to go to the desk myself
Very quiet and decor was beautiful
Great location. Friendly staff.
The bathroom was a bit dirty.
great breakfast. Outside porch seating. The housekeeping staff were all very good and knowledge.
When making our reservations we requested a room close to elevator as one in our party could not walk far. They were going to put us in a room almost to end of hall!! The young man on duty did not seem to know his job and rooms placement. Finally, got into handicap room 1st floor which was very good. Only problem is when you take a shower there is no place to put your clothings so it ends up on the floor. A small chair in the BIG bathroom would solve this problem. It is hard for a handicap person to get in and out of those very high beds in the other rooms.
Loved the charming Victorian feel and look. The staff was attentive and efficient. I loved my room, bed was very comfy, it was easy to get online. Breakfast was great.
One tiny complaint. And it is tiny, maybe vacuum the elevator and maybe do a bit of a paint job here and there, brighten the place up. I'd stay here again but I did notice the elevator felt a tad shabby. Not a big deal.
We loved the location, the history, the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff!
We were hoping to get a better price deal for the night.
Breakfast included, quaint feeling, location
Room not ready on time, poor temperature control in rooms - very hot
