The Inn at South Padre    

Room was clean. Room was large.

The staff made me feel like family. The breakfast was very good. The movie was a great idea. An hour later check out was helpful. The whole experience was top notch. Thank you!!

There was a mechanical problem with the elevator closest to my room but later resolved. It appeared to not be the first time the elevator had problems. I was afraid to use it.

The outside of the hotel looks great. The hotel is central to all the attractions. The breakfast was decent. The ac in the room worked well. The room was really big and the layout was nice.

The room was extremely outdated. The jacuzzi tub was in bad shape. The power button was missing, the side panels were coming off. The room wasn't very clean. The tv was small and old. There weren't very many channels to choose from. The amoir the tv was on was broken. The decor was scarce. There was a hole in the comforter on the bed.

The manager was super sweet and the staff was very friend. They would help with anything that you needed. When they found it was our honeymoon they tried to make the best honeymoon!!!! Which they did I will be back for sure.

I liked the small kitchen in the room. Good continental breakfast.

The hot tub was not working.

I really enjoyed the location and staff were very helpful and understanding. I would recommend this place and would stay there again.

What I didn't like was that when we arrived a couple of things were broken but were quickly attended to. Also the cable channels were very limited, not much was able to see on tv.

Breakfast not ready at 0700. They have to bring it late due to the other guests (spring breakers wake up late). Far parking area -at the back of the inn walking at the sidewalk street -not good with young children. Wifi not available in the room -only in the lobby FYI.

Their attitude was super great , the breakfast gotta try that again lol

No dis-likes Jus that my damn cousins had 2 trow a phone out the balcony other than it was all good and thanks to all staff ....

Spacious room

Very clean. Friendly staff who truly wanted to be helpful to make their guests' stay enjoyable. Excellent location convenient to shopping, restaurants and the beach (two blocks away).

Big room with a kitchenette

We did not get what we paid for. We paid for a King Suite through Booking.com, and even showed the receipt to the gentleman who checked us in, but he refused to give us what we paid for. He said that what was written on the receipt did not matter. The reservation was only for a suite, not a King Suite. And he did not take money off even when we asked. Also the breakfast was cold and short on food.

I liked the location and the friendliness of the staff and the beautiful surroundings.

The powdered eggs, but putting gravy on them helped.

It was very clean and the maids did a great job everyday. We loved the rooms.

The breakfast was not the best. But we did them the benefit of the doubt in that there were so many older adults living here during the winter months and they all seemed to eat at same time so I'm sure it was hard to keep up with hot food. We never had hot food except for the morning we had waffles and we had to wait on them to bring new mix.

Staff was very polite/friendly and accomodating..general manager Pam, was especially helpful and great to work with! Hot breakfast was very good!

I really liked the spacious room and the continental breakfast.

We had a king sized bed and I think there should be more pillows than 3 for that sized bed.

Close to all amenities. Pleasant staff. Clean.

Bugs

Everything was fairly clean but it was like walking into a 1980's motel not what I expected for the price I payed if I would have wanted a 30.00 a night quality room I wish thats what I payed instead I paid almost 200 a night my daughters roon stunk if mine would have smelled like that I would have went home. Very dissatisfied. The only good thing was breakfast it was good.

Everything except breakfas needs to be brought into this century

everything was just fine.

Everything. It was dirty, old, extremely smelly, loud, poorly equipped. Sheets and towels were worn and permanently stained. Mattresses and pillows need replacing. Carpet, sofas and floors were filthy. Shower curtain would not close on either end, was torn. Laundry facilities have seen better days. Pool water resembled bath water. Needs major updating. Floors, carpet and walls were damp entire trip all day and all night. Couldn't walk barefoot. Disgusting. Trip would have been great if it hadn't been for The Inn at South Padre. We only booked here because this website made it sound decent for the price and because any other hotels within our price range didn't have availability for that weekend. But, we will never stay here again nor recommend it.

it was the best price but will not likely stay there again. No water pressure, the faucet were loose and did not shut off properly. the beds need to be replaced, mattress are very hard. \

Children unattened at swimiming pool. they are asking for a law suit, pool is not cleaned daily.

The employees there were extremely nice and helpful They made a tremendous effort to see that breakfast was served to those who wanted to eat and the breakfast was really an expense in itself because they went all out with the breakfast. I really did enjoy my stay at The inn.

For the money that I paid, I can't say that there was anything that I really disliked. It was a good place to stay and I would stay there again if I ever came back.

I liked everything the service, they were very nice. The location was great we had everything near by restaurtants, the beach not even 5 minutes. Idid liked my staying at The Inn at South padre and ofcourse I wilol be back thank you

It had a great location, the room was spacious and there was mini fridge which was really nice. There was a balcony, but the few was so-so. No big deal because we weren't staying there for the view. Oh, the breakfast was GREAT!!!! Big time.

The front desk wasn't super helpful but the woman working the continental breakfast was awesome. The room was a bit dated and it wasn't cheap, however, we did stay during peak summer vacation season, so elevated prices are to be expected. It was a bit worn down, but the breakfast was great and there were a lot of families staying there so it was nice and quiet when it needed to be.
