Convenient for a hospital procedure. Loved it!
Clean, convenient, can check-in very late
Unusual odor, like curry spices, mostly in hallway, a little in one corner of room.
Location to clinic
Convenience to Virginia Mason Hospital and Outpatient Surgery Clinic.
No restaurant available at the Inn. Had problems with hot water. Had warm to cold bathes from Monday to Friday, and then finally had a hot shower.
Comfy, inviting bed and clean bathroom.
No hot water. We were told the hot water heater went out.
Good position.Helpful staff.
Wifi signal weak.
Close proximity to hospital.
No dinning room. Smelled musky
it's a bit expensive for someone who is staying out of the necessity when a loved one is in the hospital, considering other hospitals offer similar accommodations at little to no cost.....
The staff are very nice and can meet all my various sudden request when bathroom leak, they helped me change to another room immediately. The hotel is close to hospital which makes me a little bit uncomfortable when I travel along, It is easy to connect with those scary movies after the bathroom leak at midnight. Maybe because I arrived at almost midnight , everywhere is so quiet. I kept light on all night to make sure I can sleep. Next morning at daytime, everything looks so good to me.
OUTSTANDING room service menu. Check it out BEFORE you go out to dinner.
A dated old beauty in a great spot. Needs a face lift pretty badly.
It was awesome for my husband to be able to hang out in our hotel room instead of a busy waiting room. Then the nurse was able to wheel me straight to our room from recovery. Great price on food, as well.
Convenience to the hospital.
There was noise off and on all night outside our window making it difficult to sleep well.
Proximity to the hospital facilities, the purpose of our visit.
Would have liked the dining room open. We understand it is under remodel. We ordered dinner from hospital kitchen, the hamburger was lacking in quality. The fajita was very good however.
Proximity to the hospital facility, availability of cafeteria, etc. in hospital. The price was excellent for lodging in the city. The staff were courteous and helpful.
Cold! We were there during an extreme cold spell, and the aging systems could not keep the temperature comfortable. We did receive a space heater, but it took 3 hrs. to get it.
Staff was friendly and room was quaint.
no outlets in the bathroom except on right next to the door with rhe lightswitches.
Location, cost, staff, cleanliness. I was a little concerned due to some negative reviews, but I found all to be unfounded. The room was clean and facilities all in working order. Have stayed in other seattle locations that are 3x more money, but would choose the Inn over them next visit.
There was nothing I found to be lacking. It is an older building but to me that added charm.
Value for money compared to other hotels in the area, clean, and very helpful staff. Location good for downtown but a real trek up the hill each time and no local places to eat of any real quality.
photos on website do not reflect the interior which is old and tired at the time of my stay there was no place to have breakfast or eve meal as this area was being redecorated. This is not a place older people should stay as the hill climb to and from the center is steep.
A short walk (maybe 2/5 mile) from the Grand Hyatt, where my business took place. The Inn is an older establishment, but well-maintained. It has a homey look and feel that just made me feel comfortable. I'll check the Inn first for availability on my next trip to this area.
Nothing bad to say about this place.
The Inn is literally attached to the VM hospital which was why we were there. SO convenient! Our room was very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to cafes, Starbucks, McDonalds. Taxis are nearly always available.
There was no microwave or frig in the room so if you have a patient on a clear liquid diet there is no place to store the jello for example or to heat up soup. Also at the time of our stay, the little cafeteria was closed due to renovations.
The room was clean. Service was good. History if building cool! Recommend this hotel. Except all they had available for a rooms were two twin beds. Comfy, but husband and wife slept separately. Clean place!
Limited parking. Went for business stayed another night for personal. 9 ft sprinter van (company van) wouldn't fit in garage, limited street parking, hard to find a place to park. Also walk to the pier is crazy steep walking.
Liked the fact that I could take an elevator from the hotel to the 4th floor in the Virginia Mason hospital. The staff was excellent, room was very nice.
Heard ambulances all night so didn't get a good night sleep. Hotel is on a very steep hill. Don't take your car as there is not a lot of parking for the amount of people if your going to the hospital.
-Room was clean -Staff was friendly and knew places that we could check out on our first time in Seattle -beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious -not sure if it's a good or bad thing, but the hotel is next door to a hospital
-location of hotel is away from everything and up a big hill which we didn't know and carried all our luggage up there.
The price was right and the staff very eager to please.
No air conditioning and the windows only open 4 inches! It was a steep climb for about 10 blocks uphill! Had to go across the street to use hotel computers. View from our window: patients getting cared for in a hospital
