Sat. Breakfast was meager. Very dark rooms.
Location, breakfast, personal treatment, room size
Shower water were not warm in the morning, wifi at room was not stable
Decent facilities. Good hotel
Nice quirky atmosphere, and good location.
A lot of noise from the street at night, not the best value for the price.
The staff was superb; The rooms are really spacious; The restaurant located on the ground floor is a must; It was really a very nice experience!
It is noisy, but after a couple of nights you get used.
A true B&B -- great coffee with the complimentary breakfast -- warm and friendly, a totally relaxing place to stay!
Very friendly staff and a simple but complete breakfast provided. The rooms have a B&B feel and are larger than a regular NY hotel.
Not your average decor, giving the place a different feel from an average hotel. Best hotel bed I've slept in.
No complaints at all
This is not a hotel. It is a home. The decors in the room is really lovely and traditional. The room is big and confortable and clean. The location is walkable to subwat station. I will live in this hotel next time in NYC.
Well situated in the great neighbourhood of Chelsea, we arrived and found a real home from home. Loved the use of the fridge, ice buckets, the honesty bar and overall laid back attitude. The room was big for any city, let alone NYC and ours was decorated in wonderful asiana style - I understand every room is quite different. Very comfortable stay in a new favourite hotel - have already made one recommendation and will definitely tell more people.
We visited in a mild summer, but the room was very hot. There appeared to be adequate heating products to cope with a cold New York winter, but we felt that the air con could have benefited with modernisation. Was very noisy to run whilst trying to sleep at night. That is all though.
Everything. Staff is quite wonderful.
The staff was so friendly and had excellent recommendations! The bagels were delicious too. Fantastic location!
The price and location.
My room didn't have WiFi.
room design, location, athmosphere
If I had to be picky: AC unit a bit noisy.
Having stayed in every hotel in the neighborhood, this was the most pleasant experience I have. The rooms are colossal by NYC standards and the staff was lovely. I also really appreciated having the library. I was surprised at how often I wanted to be able to leave my room, grab a cup of tea and read or work someplace that wasn't "out".
Size of the room was great! Bed was very comfortable. Location was perfect.
A great hotel well situated towards downtown in New York. Easy access to the subway; to main sights and to restaurants and bars, this is a hotel we will definitely visit again
Our street facing room was quite noisy, due mainly to a city that never sleeps!
good hotel but not for 9
doesn't have 24h front desk
The lobby was very comfy
The bathroom could use an update
This is a place like home away from home! You want a drink or a soda you get it and if there is no one to charge you for it there is an IOU or a cup to put the money based on an honor system that works!!! People will help you at any time of the day with a smile like Jennifer helped us im printing our tickets late at night. I felt truly at home and cared for as a valued customer. Also, inevitably you fall in love with Dorothy.
Location The great food Breakfast and the evening wine and cheese.
We loved the Inn, the staff, the beautiful room with all needed amenities, the library to hang out and enjoy a solid breakfast. This will be our place to stay when needed.
Very-very good place! Second place in my own NYC hotel chart! Great location; Stylish theme rooms; Common living room on the second floor with free cookies and tea 24/7! Very helpful and friendly staff. Warm rooms - great for winter visiting!
Actually nothing! Great place for little money!
