The bed is so comfortable and the bathroom is stunning with good shower
The position of the tv
Room and bathroom were well equipped and spotlessly clean and staff were very helpful
Everything! Especially the beds and the apple cider and coffee in lobby.
Room sevice on Sunday was not great. O.K. during the week though.
Central location , staff very friendly. Hotel is small but perfectly formed, I would highly recommend.
coincierge and staff were wonderful
Staff was very good and nice to deal with.. Beds unusually comfortable. Hotel location splendid. Special praise for the concierge Vanessa. She was keen, pleasant and effective; a true gem for the hotel.
Price on the high side for a four star hotel.
Excellent hotel very quaint an lovely and helpful staff
Only negative no hot drink facilities in room
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very professional all of them! The location is very good for both 5th Ave shopping and Times Square madness. Broadway shows just minutes away! Rooms a fair size as well. Overall a very good experience! Would definitely recommend.
The only thing that I would say was bad was the cleanliness of the rooms. Looked alright but when - trying to switch off the lamp - I looked down on it, the bulbs were filthy. Fluffs of dust. Checked my parents room as well to see if ours was just the exception... The same. It's a shame the hotel getting a bad review due to poor performance of the cleaning ladies. Apart from that all good..!
The heat was stiffling and i think we should have been given more info on the hotel on arrival
Location location location!!!! Bill from concierge was a 10 out of 10, if you want to make the most out of your trip use the hotel staff :)
Great location Room was big for Mahattan Friendly staff Quiet
Couldn't change the temperature of the room. A little too warm.
location staff comfort
wi-fi was a little hit and miss
Beds comfortable Location good Staff very friendly and helpful
Rooms way too small could hardly move in the bathroom. Expensive for what you got. I am room breakfast 20bucks for a bowl of warm oats with berries.. crazy!! Resturant at the hotel we didnt visit as again very expensive. Probly wouldnt stay again as too pricey for what you get but that is NY I guess. Also, doing renovations on our floor and rooms are so small.and so close together you could hear everything everyone was doing on our floor.
Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful soundproofing between the rooms .
Often absent doorman. Inconsistant quality breakfasts. Traffic and blowers very loud.
Location Staff Beds were so comfy Really quite at night Free Apple Cider in the afternoon was amazing!
Clean room - big bathroom (for NYC). Great location. And its best kept secret - the Lanterns Keep lounge!
Room was a little warm to our liking and we could not adjust the temperature.
Location adjacent to Times Square and theatre district, staff was accommodating and friendly, room was clean and bed comfortable, but space was a little tight with 2 double beds. Bathroom was spacious and had all amenities. Parking across the street was convenient. Overall value was good at price we paid.
Cocktail Bar on property was expensive and could have required reservations! Next time is probably slip next door.
Location was perfect, within walking distance to Times Square, Rockefeller Center and tour buses. Staff is friendly, hotel is quiet, and the beds were heavenly. Love this hotel and will definitely book again when returning to NYC.
Nothing to dislike.
Your consierge was so pleasant and extremely helpful even giving us details on how to get to get to Brooklyn down to minute details! Anything we asked for, room service was more than helpful and efficient from towels and robes to ice buckets.
The location... The human size of the hotel and the quality of relatio with employees. the service
The location...in Midtown...which means the noise...of the outside
location Staff Bed Additional items such as turning down the bed
Parts of the hotel are worn Hall outside the room smelt old and a bit damp
The location is first class - very close to Times Square but far enough away to be able to enjoy a peaceful sleep. The cocktail bar was excellent and my wife and I visited several times for a final drink. Breakfast was excellent although we only had it in the hotel on the first morning due to the cost. The staff were all extremely helpful and pleasant. The room was spacious and very well appointed with a lovely bathroom. The free coffee and water were most welcome. The internet availability was very good as was the computer access in the library.
The prices were a little expensive, both for the rooms and for the meals and breakfast. However, the stay was most enjoyable and I would most certainly stay there again.
Very close to Time Square and the subway is just a short 2 block walk. Nice area.
Slow lift, otherwise it was great
Very comfortable rooms. Staff friendly and helpful.
The rather limited seating area.
