Very warm room (much needed given NYC weather), free coffee in the morning in the lobby and a wonderful sweet apple tea in the evenings - a must have. Beds confortable, showers a bit fiddly but good pressure and Molton Brown toiletries are fantastic.
Great location. Good value for money. Very nice staff. Excellent mixologist in bar.
Small room lacked a comfortable chair. Bar was tight, noisy, and overcrowded. Expected better breakfast.
The friendliness of concierge Bill Heinrichs and the porters was very appreciated: from arranging private transport for venues to stopping a cab for a special meeting during a spring snow storm: they did it!
All was good. My heating did not work first night, but after mentioning it, it got fixed right away!
The overall ambience of the room and the hotel was perfect. We were satisfied with our room overlooking the back yard bacause it was silent even though we were just two blocks from Times Square.
The receptionist made an unpleasant mistake right upon our arrival. She asked for a credit card claiming it is needed in case of additional costs and in seconds charged the total amount of our hotel stay. Since we wanted to pay with a different card this became a rather disturbing and uncomfortable experience. This quality of a hotel should not tolerate incompetent service.
Perfect located near all sights, Bill the concierge was always helpful. Great staff.
The staff is very friendly and always helpful. The location is perfect. The condition and cleanliness of the rooms is superior to other NY hotels I have encountered
Location - perfect , close to everything, but far enough away to be quite. Staff was friendly. Great beds. I would definitely stay there again.
Bathrooms a little small. No a/c in the winter. It was an older building that needs to switch over. We had the same issue in Paris. We opened the windows.
Location is awesome, rooms are small but clean and the bed was comfie. There was not a great view but at least the window didn't open on to a wall. We had a few problems with the room the staff was friendly and fix them right away.
The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from room to room and from room to hallway. The room we were in had the bathroom so close to the head of the bed that I could hear (and smell) everything my partner was doing in there. Not great. no vent in the bathroom either.
Small bar ..
The thing I liked the most about staying at the Iroquois Hotel is the friendliness of the staff. Not only were they friendly towards my wife and I - they seemed to care about working there and how well they are treated as employees.
We could hear some street noise, but not enough to loose sleep over.
the thermostat in the room did not function I couldn't shut off the heat all night.
Location, friendly and helpful staff. Nicely upgraded, historic property
Superior room was small. We upgraded to a deluxe which was a big improvement. No coffee maker and the coffee in the lobby was lukewarm and not very good
44th is a nice street with great coffee houses and restaurants, and yet a short walk to times square and the theater district.
I thought the staff were always courteous and attentive. They made you feel welcome and at ease. Ezra is a fine gentleman and always looking to help you out. The location can't be beat and Lantern's Keep, although small, gives that sense of intimacy with fantastic specialty cocktails. Very unique.
Room was a bit tight .
Rather small Roms Slow elevator Expensive breakfast
The Bellman that was on duty at each shift was remarkable in every way. Not only were our needs met for transportation, he met our needs for umbrellas for the rain and dinner recommendations. Thanks George especially for caring to go the extra mile.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is European in style, without the usual busy lobby scene at most Times Square hotels. Highly recommended for travelers looking for quiet, well-appointed hotel.
Everything - great location, excellent value, comfortable room
perfect location, good value for money, clean modern bathroom, comfy bed, excellent staff and concierge service
the room is kinda small and not properly lit. it was very dark even during the day (no sunlight coming in too).
3-5 minutes near the times square by walking
Asked for directions to several locations and were given a goose chase. Found locations on our own.
Stayed at this hotel over the Christmas and New year break.Location was very central. It was close enough to walk everywhere, and a place to relax from the madness of the crowds hanging around times sq. the hotel has an excellent cocktail bar at the rear of the building as you walk in. The concierge Vanessa was extremely helpful and went out of her way to answer our questions.
Complimentary coffee and Apple cider was a nice touch.
Location is great. Free wifi. Coffee and hot cider available (nice touch) Room was cleaned to a high standard. Great but small hotel bar. Helpful front desk staff
Shower on the top floor wasn't great. Rooms and beds are quite small compared to some other NYC hotels.
