We had an excellent stay at the Iroquois hotel. The hotel has a great location right next to Times square. The staff was so friendly and when we wanted to change room for having a room closer to our friends there was no problem at all. The beds were very comfortable.
The only negative thing was that there was a poor view from many of the rooms (looking into a brickwall). Since you don't stay at the hotel for so many hours a day this wasn't a problem though.
Excellent location close to all attractions in Midtown New York. Excellent service and comfortable accommodations.
Bathroom could use some updating. Lighting was not good. Concierge gave us two poor restaurant recommendations. Fortunately, found good restaurant on our own.
Close to many of the sites Friendly staff Nicely appointed room Good price for location
On site restaurant is very expensive
Location was great. 5 mins from Times Square and 5th Avenue. Staff are so friendly and helpful. We got great restaurant recommendations from Bill the concierge
I wish the room was bigger but it was comfortable and clean. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
Very comfortable bed!
The location is excellent for visiting the theatre district and Midtown shopping.
By the same token the area is extremely busy. But on balance the location and quality of the hotel were a plus.
The staff were extremely attentive and friendly at all times - made you feel like a VIP - some nice personal touches in the hotel too!
If I had to pinpoint something, the only thing I could mention were the lifts were a little small and slow but that only mattered when we had big cases in it.
They give the room right the way and that was 7 am The front desk staff is outstanding and make you fell welcome and confortable
The noise of some machine during the night disturb my sleep
The location is great just a 5 minute walk from Times Square, Grand Central Station. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good housekeeping, room service.
No coffee making facilities although coffee is available in hotel lobby. Rooms a little small. Breakfast over priced
excellent location, close to times square and Fifth avenue. The most popular attractions are within walking distance, and also the shops. The staff was very Nice, they left chocolate on the pillow every night. Room Nice and elegant. Wi-fi Connection is very fast and good
the rooms are a bit small, breakfast should be included in the price.
The room is quaint, quiet and relaxing. Amazing toiletries and linens. What a find!
The lobby could do with an upgrade, bit dated
It is centrally located-which was just what we needed for our last night before flying home. The staff were very friendly and helpful-particularly in providing flexibility with a late checkout. The room was just right-quiet,comfortable bed and great bathroom.
everything! right next to times square, great restaurants, theatres. the staff was efficient and friendly, rooms quiet and pristine. highly recommend.
This was my fourth stay at the Iroquois and it lived up to its usual high standard. Very comfy (especially the bed), great view of the Chrysler building from my room, staff very helpful, great location, safe for solo travellers.
$50 a day 'incidentals' were taken off my card at the start of my stay but I wasn't told this would happen. It was a card that I had loaded dollars onto which meant that I didn't have access to this money while was in the US, though I won't be charged this.
Quirky retro style Maid service twice a day Library Flavoured water dispenser in reception View of Chrysler building out of room window
No coffee making facilities in room Coffee in reception dreadful Very warm in room Wifi intermitant
Location, staff, cleanliness, quiet
The Front Desk Team was friendly. Especially Mr. John, he was very polite too. We like the hotel and hope to retune one day.
One of the mineral water bottle was already open and left only half. The toilet door was broken, but my husband managed to temporally fixed it - anyway, not a big issue.
The staff was very friendly and helpful! The concierge gave us excellent tips for our stay in NYC. The hotel is perfect located, just a few steps from Timesquare in the theater district.
The last day no Wifi
Excellent location Clean Friendly staff Good Equipment (fitness) Quality of the furnitures Cosy Historic building
Rooms a bit dark Size of the rooms (usual in NY)
Really good first impression. Doorman, front desk staff excellent and very friendly.
Could they valet park/pickup your automobile. Had to go to across the street garage myself.
everyone was soooo friendly and helpful !!! cant say enough !! love the turn down and chocolate ! location was superb ! highly recommend and they did provide a cot so 3 people could share a room--which is very rare for a 4 star hotel in the city !!!
Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Hotel was clean and we'll maintained. Added touches like complimentary coffee and fruit infused water throughout the day in the lobby. Location was GREAT- close to time square and Central Park!
If you haven't experienced NYC before this location is in midtown and is in walking distance to many major sites: Times Square, grand central station, Bryant Park, Empire State Building, Radio City Music Hall, 30 Rockafeller Plaza, etc. My husband traveled to NYC for business on occasion and I hadn't been to NYC in *years*- so it was fun to be tourists with our children. The hotel itself is very cozy and the staff are attentive but not overbearing. We traveled with our children (two under 10) our room was a surprisingly spacious. We had a king bed in a separate room while our children slept on a pull-out sofa. The room was well decorated and had all the major conconviences noted. Also, enjoyed the small touches such as fresh fruit available to snack and freshly infused water daily in the lobby- cucumber mint, strawberry/lemon, are a few examples.
If I had to complain about anything it would be that our room was a bit 'stuffy' and became a bit more whenever we took a shower because there where no vents in the bathroom, so humidity levels where a bit high in the room. I'm sure it can be resolved with proper ventalation.
Not just a great location, it’s all about the atmosphere and employees. The Iroquois has it ALL – charm, customer service, and all of the above. Charm! I loved EVERYTHING!! (Where should I begin?)! First, I love the fresh peaches waiting for us at the front desk – delicious and HEALTHY!! Second, our hotel room had a DOOR BELL! –OMG! The list goes on, on and on.. our morning paper was delivered in a cute cloth bag.. and the concierge was AWESOME! Thank you Vanessa and Ezra! You guys rock…. After Veronica’s shift, she escorted us on the dreadful NYC subway to Harlem (to Sylvia’s Soul Food—yummy)… definitely above and beyond her call of duty. And thank you Ezra!! He was the bomb! Ezra informed us of all the Times Square hot spots, soul food joints, and must sees! And the BEDS and bedding... oh la la Ia! The best sleep EVER! I would definitely recommend and STAY Iroquois again!! This was great getaway..
