Prettig hotel, prima plek. Heerlijke kamer. Goede bedden. Oase van rust in hectische stad. Fijn, de krant 's ochtends. Vriendelijk, behulpzaam en flexibel personeel. Geen probleem later uit te checken dan eigenlijk bedoeld. In de buurt van daar waar veel gebeurt. Entree oogt somber door donkere kleuren.

The Iroquois is een small luxury hotel in de ware zin van het woord. Tel daar de vriendelijkheid van het personeel en de geweldige ligging bij op en je hebt een geweldige tijd in dit romantische hotel. Het restaurant is iets te formeel, ook voor het ontbijt. En de temperatuur in de kamer wordt door het hotel geregeld.

Van zodra er opening getoond wordt aan het personeel is er samenspraak. Tips voor uitstappen, museums, mooie uitzichten (Hi-line), jazz vertoningen niet vermeld in de NY explorer pas of opgenomen in hun rondrit... Bij plotse wolkbreuk gratis verstrekking van paraplu. Bij vermelding van vroegere ervaringen, onmiddellijk respons met vernieuwde locatie aanduidingen. Deze opmerkingen gelden voor heel het personeel van portier tot directeur. Niettegenstaande de zeer centrale ligging aan Times square, een zeer geluidwerende omgeving. De vernieuwing sinds mijn verblijven 1971-1972 zijn up-to-date. Kortom "Nice Stay" en voor herhaling aanbevelingswaardig.

the staff were so attentive. they upgraded our room and sent a bottle of wind and strawberries for my husband's birthday. the bed was the best ever. the only two things that were lacking was counter space in the bathroom to put on make up. and, only one elevator was working.

Location only Air conditioner: it was so cold in the room. And we asked every evening to switch off air conditioner but not every night we succeed.

Great location, friendly helpful staff. 5 minutes walking distance to Time Square and 5th Avenue and very close to all theaters. Will go there again. Recommended! Rooms are not very big, rather small. Would love to have a coffee machine in the room. Now only a bottle of water.

The front desk staff was excellent, anticipating questions before they were asked and handling everything promptly and in an appropriately friendly manner. Likewise, the concierge was excellent and friendly, especially in providing things for a young child to do. She made very good suggestions for restaurants and things to do. We knew this going in, but still felt the hotel was very expensive given the size of the room and the hotel in general (not much in the way of added features).

You can't beat the staff: a delightful assemblage of genuinely eager and competent personnel. There are swankier places with more amenities, but for the overall value/cost I love the Iroquois. The picture in the room details page is a suite. Your Deluxe King will be smaller.

The room was clean, compact and comfortable. Amenities were very nice. Beds and bedding were luxurious. After lovely long days and evenings of shopping and sight-seeing, this was our haven to come home to. The location was perfect for museum visits, shopping and touring. The restaurant was a wonderful surprise! Staff were all professional, courteous and efficient. We will look forward to returning in the future. The hotel is centrally heated and air conditioned. As a result, there was little we could do about a room that became over warm during the unseasonably warm temperature of January. Of course, we opened the window, but that allows the noise and exhaust fumes of the city into an otherwise wonderful environment.

Room was very nice, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was very nice. Personnel were on the spot with assisting you with anything you needed. Fitness room was adequate for a small hotel. Highly recommend the iroquois new york to anyone. You had to make a reservation for the bar. Sauna did not heat up quickly, needs updating.

A very accommodating staff, excellent location to subway, comfortable and luxurious rooms, and a quieter street than some in midtown. The only ice makers were on the first floor and so ice had to be called up to the room. I'd prefer to serve myself.
