Location, location and location
The partying from the lounge and the partying from the outside was so loud we couldn't sleep. The sink was clogged and the marble was cracked in the bathroom. For a five star hotel I expected more. We left at 6:00am the very next morning to check into the Marriot next door to finish our one week stay.
The Hotel is in a great location.
Parking should be free
The hotel needs to review the Happy Hour representation. We were told more than once about the wonderful Happy Hour from Three to Seven. Well when we went at three the bar was not open to serve us, had no beer taps open no money for paying if you could get a drink. One of the bartenders let me know that I should be able to see that they were making changes and remodeling, and setting up. I asked how I would know, this is my visit to this hotel. Not a very pleasant experience. One of the young men let me know that the Happy Hour prices were that bar only, yet the young hostess had to walk to the Oak Grill bar to get our drink. The setting up was loud and again not pleasant and the unfriendly attitude was the worse. I wouldn’t want to have that experience again. Very rude. My suggestion would be say the hours were four to seven to give the bartenders time to do the setup or have them come in at an earlier time.
No bad experience. Not all the little extras they once used to do. Valet is a bit ridiculous...$32.00 a night, plus tipping EVERY TIME you ask for your car. Self parking should be available. We all don't walk around with a stick up our butts needing to be waited on hand & foot. No more complimentary cup of coffee/ mini muffins in the morning. No free Wi-Fi, for what a room costs, it should come with it.
Location! Cleanliness of hotel/ grounds, perfect workout facility, easy accessibility to the pool.
Hideously expensive parking ($32.00?? that's the rate in downtown la, which is space constrained), unhappy valet (not happy that I wasn't driving a luxury car and then further unhappiness observed when informed we would be parking for free on the street), empty bathroom - no shampoo, conditioner, comb, qtips, or anything that you would expect (really trying to cut costs I guess).
Location, friendly front desk, clean rooms and public areas.
The staff was very professional and nice. From valet opening our door when we arrived, to the special complementary chocolate dipped strawberries in our room. This hotel really raises the bar for customer service. We would definitely stay here again!
Everything but in particular the wonderful staff especially Dilan in the Island Club.
The mattress was totally damaged on one side . For the money it was ok, Note there is a Club there on Saturday night. The Hotel guest should be able to have a parking lane and not be in traffic with party goers
Proximity to food, shopping, and business location.
Cost of Valet Parking and WiFi should be included
People kind attention
Valet staff was extremely nice and attentive.
no Jacuzzi in spa
No Mini Bar , no in room coffee and tea facility.
Efficient in check in and check out.
The staff and the facilities were dirty and old
Excellent staff and spotless facilities. Very spacious room with all the comforts you would expect. Thanks and will be back. Peter
Friendly people; public privacy; convenice, comfort and service.
They Dont replenish the soap. Every single day you have to ask them about a kettle and mugs even though the room should come with all of this
The location wise and the room was too spacious
My wife and I had just been married and were staying only one night in a standard room. The concierge gave us a free upgrade to a suite for the night. It was absolutely amazing with a wonderful view of the ocean and city.
The club is directly below and open till 1am. It is like Vegas with trashy people waiting in line in the lobby. Drunk people everywhere. Loud music. Do not get a room over the club or pool because the windows leak music. Calls to the front desk did no good. Could not sleep. Waste of money. Stay somewhere else!!!
Location if you plan on going to the mall. The small convenience store. Size of bathroom.
big negative: no free Wifi in the rooms
very nice hote
Didn't realize they have a huge bar scene Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. People lining up to get in through the lobby into the bar. Lots of traffic. Kinda crazy. Rather surprising as the hotel is serene the rest of the time. My room was still quiet though.
Spacious Quiet Room. Very Comfortable. Great location. Close to everything! Attentive staff.
Beautiful resort. The oak grill was wonderful.
