The hotel location is prime and its appointed very nicely and very comfortable. The vibe is hip yet relaxed and the doorman remember you everyday! nice touch. While the rooms are a little smaller the location makes up for it because people don't come to NYC to hang inside.

Nice location, fair price, clean and modern. Pleasant and helpful staff. No coffee making facilities in room, not many cupboards to put clothes.

From the doormen to the front desk up to the room, the beds get turned down, the staff is great!! No coffee in the rooms or the front lobby, number one downfall, although there is a starbucks one block away.

Staff Location Cleanliness It was pricey for a two night stay. I would come to NYC and stay there more often if it were a bit more reasonable per night.

I loved everything about the hotel. two things, important for business travellers (and others): - elevators were incredibly slow, its a new hotel, so there's no excuse. - no coffee in the room. I know you're making efforts to keep the room designy, but no coffee in the room can be a dealbreaker for me.

The hotel is really well located and the staff are very friendly, helpful and generous. The room was great and the whole hotel was very stylishly done Bathroom was a bit small - although typical for Manhattan Could do with another lift

The decor and ambiance of the hotel was well done, inviting and charming. Unfortunately, there was a noisy family with two young children in the next room. They were making a lot of noise and it was impossible to get sleep. I had an important business meeting the next morning, so I needed a good nights sleep. At 12:30 am, I finally asked management to switch my room and they graciously extended their best effort to find a quiet room. I give them high marks for making the accommodation!

Staff were very helpful, pleasant and made sure we were well taken care of. The design of the hotel is great! Really interesting and a gem in a great location - walking distance from Soho, Meatpacking etc. They'd overbooked our double room on the first night but moved us first thing in the morning and comped that first night. They were very apologetic and made the transition easy so nothing to complain about.

The staff is wonderefully friendly, good natured and attentive, The lobby is a jewel, cozy and beautiful and the frony corner a real joy, The dining room is gorgeous and breakfast relaxing and gracious. It is even fine when the elevator conks out because everyone, including the guests was bascially so good natured. Bedstead dusty. Limited clothing space, I made a useful suggestion in this regard.

The hotel is well located and excellent value for money. Loved the decor and the staff in particular we're fantastic, very friendly and helpful. They recommended and made reservations for us at a fabulous restaurant. Service felt very personal even when the hotel was busy. I could not recommend The Jade Hotel more highly.

The staff that really tried to ensure that this very newly opened hotel got over its initial glitches. Thus, my original rather harsh judgement was not entirely applicable to the length of my stay. Routines must start working and breakfast service improved considerably.

Almost nothing, but the front desk staff listened, were attentive and friendly and did the best they could to address my problems. Although the hotel had just opened, it still cannot be excused that the information in the room was non-existent, the lift did not work two of the days (I was on the 16th floor!), Too few elevators and no service elevator (had to wait for eight minutes one day to get an elevator), the staff in the restaurant for breakfast were either ill informed, badly supervised or plainly incompetent. Internet connection is very slow; similar to a least-developed country hotel (in the us!).

Liked: decor, location, friendliness of staff, prompt room service, towels, complimentary water for entire stay. Add to dislike: toilet paper too thin Thermostat was not working properly, water flow in shower was minimal though very hot, doors self close very loudly so when people next door were coming and going at night and in the morning it woke me up
