Rooms are small, kinda pricey
The location and staff at the Jade are superb. They are so nice and kind and do everything to make your stay outstanding. I'd stay again for sure.
Dust in rooms
Location, friendly staff, ambiance, cool art deco feel, easy to get to most places in Manhattan
Small room (but it's NYC)
All the staff were very helpful and very nice people; the hotel was in a great location and the facilities were very good; would recommend this hotel to all.
the company i was with
how short our time together was
All staff were very happy at all times not just looking for tip
The Staff The lobby decor The location
Floors were a little dirty House cleaning came early
The Staff and facilities were quite nice.
The room could have been a bit larger.
We loved the atmosphere and good vibe of the hotel. Excellent location!
size of room water on the bathroom floor from shower noise at stairwell and elevator lack of hanging space size of drawers in wardrobe
The jade is a dirty has been with poor il tainted staff. I was booked to go agin at the end of my trip? I've cancelled and as a repeat guest won't be returning
No really handicap friendly
the location of the Jade is perfect. I was easily able to walk everywhere I needed to get to.
There was significant damage to the base boards in my room. This did not impact the quality of my stay but was unusual to find so much damage in a relatively new hotel. Having the staff get a cab for my early morning flight was a problem. I waited almost 20 minutes before I walked down to the corner and found one myself.
Location staff nice
Beds where to small linen was torn the phone didn't work
This is the best place to stay in midtown, if you're up to restaurants, bars and nightclubs. The hotel looks like new, it's clean, trendy. The bar is worth the visit for drinks pre-dinner. The rooms have nice decor, the bathroom is large and clean.
The staff sometimes might be picky. My first impression of the hotel was not nice, as I have been given the wrong room (had booked two beds and got one queen bed). After being moved to the right room, I found out that our safe was not working properly. Although I had these two problems solved in a reasanoable amount of time, the staff was not able to redeem my firts impression - as they were acting if it was not their problem. The rooms are a bit small - but worth the price.
Found no fault with our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will be definitely staying there again on my next trip to NYC
Perfect location in the West Village Very helpful staff Cool hotel bar/resto Beautiful décor Excellent value
Cramped rooms (perhaps to be expected in NYC at this price)
Location and the ambience of the hotel.
I had a WiFi issue and when hotel staff couldn't solve it, I received a call from a tech person and it was fixed within minutes. Which was important because I had a deadline and it was after midnight. Great area (between Union Square and the West Village) for shopping and restaurants.
European style shower had GREAT water pressure but it was impossible for the water not to go all over the bathroom. I ended up using extra towels to mop up the excess.... As a runner, I find hotels located in this area less than optimal. It takes a bit of navigation to get to Hudson River Park.
Comfortable beds Friendliness Breakfast Location
Service in restaurant sporadic.. Sometimes excellent , sometimes poor.
The decor and style is lovely, the staff great, a nice bar and restaurant. Location great for walking to Chelsea market and meatpacking bars/restaurants.
The lack of amenities in the room: for this price I would expect tea/coffee facilities in the room, and a minibar. The room was very small but this is normal for NYC. The price was not justified though in my opinion: there are equally nice hotels in NY which are better priced.
There were extra charges unexplained on my visa card, a mystery.
Great location, comfortable and well-appointed room, excellent staff who were always smiling.
I only stayed two days - would have liked more!
