The elevators are always busy
A stylish hotel with recently renovated rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great NYC location.
In typical NYC fashion, the room felt a little bit cramped. The air conditioner only seemed to have two choices, ice cold or fan off (this may have been because I didn't know how to properly use it and failed to ask the staff for help, though).
Staff were great
Room had strong odour
Excellent location. Very clean. Helpful staff. Great food. Try the burger from room service, excellent. Great Value for the location.
Room was a little tight for 4 adults but that was expected.
The staff were numerous, and ready to help at all times. The restauarant and bar were a big plus. The bes was sumptuous with pima cotton sheets and pillows galour. Tivoli radio wide screen tv.
The room had a bit too much furniture, including a desk and a reading chair making it a bit cramped. There was a very small closet and no mini bar with refrigerator, but the bar was downstairs.
Staff, decor, house coats and slippers
Room size very small, pricey, no coffee in room
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. Bar was nice. Location in Greenwich was quiet and convenient.
Room was pretty small but it's NYC, so I was expecting that.
Seriously comfortable bed and super nice high quality sheets. Very nice and helpful staff. Quiet room even though facing street. Nice art deco decor. Lots of water coming out of shower. Very close to good shopping on 5th Ave with Banana Republic, Gab and J. Crew amongst others.
No bath tub. Lobby was below street level and a little dark.

Very nice small boutique hotel Personal service and very friendly staff Comfortable beds
This boutique Style of hotel is beautiful with super friendly staff who will make your stay extra special. Hotel rooms and facilities are of an excellent standard. The hotel is ideally located to explore the sights of the city both day and night. As well as offering you the privacy and comfort which can be a welcome retreat to relax and unwind. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again in the future.
Nothing, we thought the hotel was perfect for our trip to New York. Impecable service, Facilities and staff, ideally located.
Great feel to this hotel, excellent location away from the tourist rush of NYC
Room was quite small
The location of this hotel is excellent. The decor is very plush, the room we had,606, was a large room for NYC. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.
The elevators were slow.
Great location. Beautiful boutique hotel with a great bar.
Room was tiny but this is what you expect in New York. Shower was a bit odd but hardly a major problem.
loved the art deco building fabulous food and unobtrusive service.
no lounge, if not in your room - which was small no where to sit and relax other than small lobby. no tea/coffee facilities in room.
superb rooms in art decò style, very comfortable in the heart of the Village
long wait for the elevators
The lobby smelled great and was a comfortable place to relax while doing some research for our trip to NYC. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was quiet. The beds offered a chill place to sleep. Thanks!
The washrooms on the main floor were hard to get to.
Hotel in a fantastic location, walking distance to' meatpaking and nolita. When we arrived the room was really very very small, so we asked for a larger one and they switched us the day after at the same price. Rooms Are clean, silent, and comfortable, the bathroom though is quite small, and there is no fridge. The staff is very kind and helped us for riserving guided tours, restaurants and a Broadway show. The restaurant of the hotel is also nice if you Are tired and don't want to go out. I would recommend the hotel.
The staff were outstanding - extremely helpful and very pleasant. Dining was a very enjoyable experience in a lovely setting. Breakfast was particularly good value for money; certainly no more expensive than the Coffee Shop in Union Square for example. The room was nicely furnished if a little on the small side for a family room.
Although the air conditioning in the room worked well and coped with the warm weather, it was, however, somewhat on the noisy side, producing a loud clunk on each occasion it turned off.
Gorgeous decor, with relaxed seating and bar area where you can enjoy a drink or a coffee. Soft bed and pillows, very comfortable. Friendly staff.
Rooms are truly tiny, but at least it was very quiet.
