Very beautiful hotel. Art deco style runs right the way through from reception to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Great location for getting around Manhattan on foot or subway
Nothing - loved it and will return
Small, quiet, has everything. Pleasant contemporary atmosphere. Excellent restaurant fairly priced.
I would like a little more closet space.
The staff was great, specially the door bell staff.
Classy, unique decor
Great Staff, great lobby & bar, Village location
Not sure I would return as no valet. Had to walk a block to park car not very convenient!
Everything very comfortable boutique hotel
Everything was great- the stuff, the service, the area. We felt most welcome - the stuff was very helpful, generous and kind and did everything to make us fill comfortable. We would like to mention carlos who was very nice and kind and even spoke few words in Hebrew - thank you for yours kindness and care. The area was very easy to get, lots of nice places to have coffee and eat, quiet at night and fill safe all the time. Definitely will be back!!!
The room was small for 2 people.
The location of the hotel is good, with friendly staff and appropriate facilities (free wifi)
wifi wasn't great but not horrible either
great boutique hotel, restaurant and bar downstairs, comfy beds, great location
I'm a native NY'er who needed a place to stay while my apartment was being painted. Though the city is full of great neighborhoods, Greenwich Village is the perfect launch point for someone visiting. Endless cafes and restaurants, music, etc. with a hip vibe. And you get to come back to this beautiful hotel with a lively bar!
Location, design of rooms, friendly staff, value for money
Housekeeping could have been a bit better and the rooms (even the double double) are tight on storage.
Small boutique hotel in good location. Cosy bar and helpful staff.
The staff is very friendly, personable and helpful. I love the coziness and homeyness of this hotel! It's like home away from home!
Location and helpfulness of staff
No replacement of amenities throughout the 5 night stay (could be improved) and the fact that the rooms are small.
vintage style architecture, great location and nice staff
Music too loud
Venue and staff. Helpful and friendly, especially when we couldn't re-open the safe
The room temperature never fell below 74 degrees, an uncomfortable one for sleeping. I asked the staff to have someone adjust the temp for me. Although there is a thermostat in room, guests are unable to adjust it. I even opened the windows what little I could to no avail. Still the temp remained the same. I finally asked to be moved and was accommodated with great respect. Next, the first room I was given was extremely small; the second was much bigger at the very same price.
The Staff was attentive.
Gym has no exercise bike!
Cool décor Bar area Fresh flowers throughout hotel
The fake "rotary" phone seems contrived. Mine didn't work.
The hospitality was a welcome relief after a long day of travel. The front desk staff made me feel instantly at home. The hotel is charming and comfortable.
The wifi was shocking. I had to teather to my phone in the end.
The staff were awesome - I had an issue with the air con in my first night, but it was fixed by 11am the next day.
Heater was noisy and blew directly to the bed.
Good size restaurant for small hotel. Easy to get Taxi.
$200 dollars over the advertised room price. Hidden taxes, etc.
Bar and Breakfast are excellent.
Not a bad experience, but our room was arranged for handicap persons only. Assuming the shower was built for wheel chairs, the water was not contained and caused the whole bathroom floor to be wet most of the time. Also the bathroom could use higher hooks or towel bars in addition to the lower ones.
The staff was so helpful and friendly. We were greeted with a glass of ice water with a lime when we arrived. They poured my daughter a soda water and waved me away when I asked them to put it on my room. Comfortable room and bed. good location
