Size of room, not even room to open our suitcase on the floor and there needs to be a door on the shower as it sprayed into the room no matter what we did.
I would like some better lighting for reading in bed, also the light over the entrance mirrorr was very dim.
Decor, the restaurant, the staff, the location, etc.
The room was small. It was a double room. I am from Ohio though, and I understand why NYC needs to do this. The bed was too short and I am only 5'4. Overall, I loved it and will stay there again.
Terrible heating oil odours every night due to building next doors fumes blowing directly into hallways.. Felt we were choking on diesel fumes all night and had to open window even in freezing conditions. Preferable to choking.
Bar / restaurant great, very friendly bartenders and staff.
Liked the atmosphere, food, restaurant, interior, location You can open a window!
Elevator can be quite slow when lots of people are in the hotel. Quite pricy
The lugage man, I think his name is Peter. The location and the room, two beds.
Front desk was very helpful and friendly
I did not think the room was worth the rate. Very small. Would not stay there again, have had better value in same area
Friendly and attentive staff. Great location, not touristy. Amazing restaurant. Quaint rooms.
No shower door, water got everywhere when showering. Only negative.
Terrific location. Gracious lobby. Attentive staff.
Very small closet space, and room space generally beyond a bed - for such a significant price.
within easy reach of bars restaurants and subway. Room elegant and very quiet
Temperature of room not always warm enough and felt hotel towels needed replacing as old and tired. Felt there should have been more toiletries in the room as we stayed 6 nights and only given one fresh supply.
It was all great.
Restaurant menu was limited.
Location, décor, food, staff, wallpaper in restaurant bathrooms :)
We had trouble accessing the Wi-Fi with our phones
Great location and charming decor. The restaurant and bar were excellent, as well. Staff was friendly and accomodating.
The queen room was pretty small- even by NYC standards. I would choose an upgraded room next time for more space to move around and for luggage. Also the wi-fi signal was pretty weak.
Wonderful Staff clean rooms good restaurant great greenwich village location beautiful lobby
Breakfast was great. Staff was nice.
Rooms are badly lit. There is no reason not to have an overhead light. My room was not cleaned the second day. Halls and elevators had trash in them almost all the time.
Small rooms, but o.k. for the two nights we were there. Not much storage space. upper floors very quiet, windows to the back overlooking other roof tops. Bathroom small but workable
just overall a bid tight, but that is pretty normal in the City
The BED which was very short (I am 5.5 and 115lbs) was the most uncomfortable i had ever slept in. The hotel way over priced for the size and comfort of the room.
loved the location and the ambience in the hotel generally and the room!
the room was very small! and not impressed that for such a high priced room, there was no kettle to have a cup of tea! the wet room was badly designed, there was splashing of water in the whole bathroom every time you took a shower! there was never a porter in sight to help with your bags at the entrance!!
All very charming and nice change from big hotel chains!
Loved it all!
The closeness to the parade on 6th street.
A little pricey.
decor and the friendly helpful staff
small rooms and no tea making facilities
The pillows are a bit smelly, they do not wash the windows so the view was tarnished by dirt.
Look of hotel was magnificent - dark, cosy, old-world decor. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Wi-fi was reliable. Food at Grape & Vine was spectacular - burger and shoestring fries was delicious!
Laundry service - hotel sends clothes off-site to be laundered. M laundry was lost for a few days - I left my clothes to be laundered on Tuesday and did not have returned until Saturday - only because I followed up on 4 separate occasions with the staff who were not proactive at all. Hotel does not appear to keep records of what clothes are sent off-site to be laundered, or whether they are returned. Hotel comped laundry services in light of disappointing service.
