The staff is very attentive and pleasant to deal with.
Entry way is a little tight but rooms are comfortable.
Location was convenient to my work site.
Location View Terracce
Cannot say anything bad. small but expected.
Staff, was excellent.
My room was on the 15 floor and I had two take (and wait for) two separate elevators to get there. There is no refrigerator in the room
The location was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well decorated Ina spare/modern way. The "living room" was a comfortable sitting/reading/meeting area with free coffee drinks. The advertised "snacks," however were two buildings away and available only on weekdays.
No bath tub:( for me it is disgusting. Otherwise everything is ok.can recommend it.
Location is perfect. Coffee machine in the room.
Location is excellent; rooms have simple, clean modern feel; staff is helpful an friendly
Very good location, complimentary water was a plus, good room size, staff was really helpful. Erica helped us with our airport transportation. Will definitely stay at the Jewel again.
The only negative was a loud banging noise when the heat went on in the room. When mentioned to the staff at check out we were assured it would be corrected, which we were sure it would.
The staff was very pleasant. The 2nd floor lounge for early check ins was excellent.
room smelled of smoke and we figured out it was in the drapes so previous guest smoked at the window sill with the window open. asked for another room but none were available as it was a full holiday weekend.
Very kind and helpful staff, good self serve coffee bar for guests, free internet and computer stations. comfort of beds acceptable, clean bathroom and nice full size tiled shower with good pressure (no tub), quiet room with no view (accept other buildings in an inner "courtyard"
I know this is NYC but still. I stayed for 4 nights, the room was very quite & of excellent size for a New York hotel but felt a bit dungy. The carpet was clean & so was the bed set but the colors & taste of them made the room look cheap & uninviting. Sort of like the 3 star hotel chains feeling we all know. I needed to extend the check out for just one hour as I was going to return a rented car to the airport but was told all I can get is 30 min and afterward there will be some changes! Again, I stayed for 4 nights! Also, one night I was in the lounge, I remembered something important so I rushed to the room & made a mistake of letting the door slams a bit hard. One of the staff told me to plz not slam the doors cuz guests are sleeping which he was absolutely right about. However, the "way" he said it was so obnoxious! Yet, I apologized & smiled politely, but he couldn't show the decency of even nodding before leaving! I was in a rush, it was a mistake, but things happen! & I never annoyed anyone during my stay. it was a one time lil incident! What type of manners is that?! Also, the lobby was another disappointment, extremely small & looked like a "modest" 3 star lobby. Definitely not a 4 star one. I expected a much better hotel, I find it overpriced & to think that what I paid was after a good discount!! The original would be a rip off. Not gonna stay there again.
location! The free water refill & free tea & coffee were appreciated. The free lounge looked ok but definitely not a 4 star hotel lounge.
We were on the 14th floor. No reception for NBC all week (not a huge deal) and wifi dropped out a lot
Location was great. We were seeing the tonight show and it was perfect for that
My room had no view to speak of but not a problem for me personally.
The staff was accommodating. The location was convenient. Only stayed two nights but it was comfortable and clean. Complimentary water was a nice touch.
There's so many noises coming from the other rooms after midnight and we can't sleep
The location.friendly staff And the WiFi connection
I did not know what to expect when we booked this hotel (We were able to secure an excellent price for our stay) but we were so pleased when we arrived. The Staff was so accommodating and the room was very clean and was larger then we thought it would be for the price. The location was excellent. You step out of the door and are across the street from Rockefeller Plaza and St. Pat's Cathedral. It is also a quick walk to the Times Square area and several subway stations.
No minibar, no treadmills in the gym. Heater (AC on heat mode) was a bit loud to sleep
Location, comfort, interior of the room
breakfast not included. creamer in room when arrived then not replaced the second day
loved thevbsthroom. had great meal at the Club. nice view for outside breakfast.
Very small rooms
the 2 super queens are SO not the same. Adding the extra appliances to a regular room doesn't make it a super queen. It should be priced & described as something between the 2. I do think it is beneath you to equate them. I would have been a very unhappy cowgirl if I had paid as I did in 2013 & had to be in the tiny room w/o sink, silverware, etc. U are classier than that, Guys.
My first visit was in Dec 2013, & I had a lovely SuperQueen with the little kitchenette. FABULOUS! WELL worth the $$. This time, my initial SuperQueen was more a tiny room with a coffeemaker tiny microwave & tiny fridge. The lovely lady at the desk moved me to a "real" super queen & REALLY made my weekend one worth repeating a third & 4th & 5th time.
locations is perfect but you need to deal with the staff to get the room that you booked, they are always trying to send other locations of the chain
No wifi signal - reported 3 times Still waiting to resolve issues with final payw
Very friendly and helpful front desk agents. Great location. Good value.
Wifi signal not very strong, but adequate for basics.
Perfect midtown location. Amazingly quiet for being adjacent to Rock Center.
Nothing. Everything was fine.
First time staying here and very happy all around. Location is good, staff is friendly, room is small but just fine for us. The view from our room was wonderful. Room very clean. Depending on rates, I would very much like to stay here again. I also really like the more personal approach, not like the hustle and bustle of the large chains.
construction outside door my window all night long. Not exactly their fault, but I wouldn't chance this again.
Location. nice, reasonable breakfast
