Outstanding experience. Amazing bargain.
The location is right in the heart of the gas lamp district.
It's too loud if you're looking for a good night sleep.
Staff was awesome! Location was perfect, close to everything! Room was perfect for hosting a Bachlorette party & accommodated all 15 guests for the pre-party prior to a night out on the town
I loved the fact that i got there and they upgraded my room because it was my birthday!!At first i didnt believe it but the young lady at the front desk said she wanted me to have the best birthday weekend so they gave me a junior suite! The staff here is always so down to earth. They feel like friends more then staff! I just stayed here two months ago and also left a review. I have decided this will remain to be my go to hotel when i stay in gaslamp! From the room to the sexy feel of the ambiance to the fun staff. Amazing amazing amazing
The staff was amazing! Excellent location. Our suite was awesome. Would definitely stay here again!
Bed was very comfortable Shower was amazing - huge & nice products Free flip flops! Location in San Diego
Noisy pub next door No breakfast Not enough coffee pods in the room - only one caffeinated pod in a double room.
Huge room. Quality of everything was good. Staff was super-responsive. Some days, someone would leave chocolates in the room. Alarm kept setting itself to 12.00 (from the time I set), so asked for wake-up calls. They did this no arguments, no hassle.
Something inside the building comes on each hour and drones for 10 minutes. It's not outside. Airco was off so don't know what it is. Couldn't close the shades over the windows so showered in the glass shower for all to see, though I managed to close the shade of the window right next to the toilet (at toilet level). There's a room-divider curtain but it's not very wide. Wi-fi had just been "re-done" according to the staff, so while I was given a password, it's actually a completely open network that anyone from the cafes below could snoop. Sometimes the wi-fi didn't work, but mostly it was alright. This will likely improve when it's not so new. Hotel's right in the middle of an area full of bars/restaurants, so walking to and from the hotel means you get accosted by kids to either go into a bar, or buy things from them like fake nails or hair extensions. Took some getting used to.
Everything personalized service and good stay all around super helpful
The staff were extremely helpful and the room's decor was cool!
The lack of a reading light above the bed and the street noise on Saturday night.
Had a nice party at the Keating with a group of friends. The staff was very accommodating.
The staff members are the best, very thoughtful and funny
The bed and the pillows were very comfortable.
The room was much smaller than expected, and the sink and shower were not separated in any way from the bed. The kicker was when both sinks backed up with dirty water at 1:00 in the morning, waking both of us up. The sinks filled to halfway and then drained. When we called the front desk there was no help given at all, and in the morning the front staff didn't mention it either. We booked this hotel with breakfast included in the price, but in the morning we were told that breakfast had been discontinued in November 2014. The hotel reminded us of a European hostel--fine for kids but not acceptable for seasoned travellers.
The location is great, and the bed was comfortable.
I didn't like the charges to my card for multiple mini bar items that we did not use, consume, or drink. After speaking to the front desk they said they would refund my card. Took two more calls and emails to finally get my money back.
The location and the view from our suite was outstanding. The staff was friendly and entertainment out of their way to provide excellent service!
Slow elevator, no breakfast
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Outstanding staff too
The staff is fantastic; amenities, mini-bar, tv/sound system, shower are all wonderful. The decor is black and red and deco & it's fun!
Good daytime staff let down by poor overnight staff unwilling and unable to deal with serious issue.
Faulty ventilation unit on roof caused entire room to vibrate in response to the high decibel roar we endured all night. Night staff rude and unhelpful, tried to blame roadworks outside (disproved after checking the road myself at 3am). Did not offer alternative room although hotel was empty. Maintenance staff in morning admitted the fault. No offer of compensation or follow-up from management. This is not how to run a hotel.

Was noisy during the weekend Parking very expensive
The hotels we usually stay at were not available to us so we tried the Keating Hotel. It was in a great location and very unique in style. It's in a historical building and had a lot of character . The staff was friendly and helpful.
It is an older building and we were on the 4th floor and discovered the elevator was very slow. Really not a big deal though and taking the stairs wasn't bad.
Perfect location, very close to Gaslamp Quarter. The room we got (penthouse) was very spacious, clean, with great design.
VERY spacious rooms Champagne at check-in! Lots of amenities (yoga mat, umbrella, snacks, etc.) Coffee in room Coffee in lobby with biscotti! Very modern Big cascading shower
A little shabby, some parts of the room need updating
Everything! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The suits was beautiful and their room service was fast and excellent. Officially my favorite hotel!
Maybe just doors in showers but it wasn't a big deal.
try to cancel but couldn't have to go to the ER on the day of my reservation and two days later i have surgery. still recovering from the my surgery.
At 8:00 pm i recieve a call from the front desk To Tell me that there was a complain from the people who was staying in the room down from mine because when i walk in My room the steps was to loud! I always respect the others but in that case i Think the guests down me dont have to complain because i was walking without shoes!
