The rooms were beautiful and room service was great. The bar and tea room was not worth the price, mainly because they treated you like "someone off the street".
I expected service equal to a true 5 star hotel. I was not treated like a "guest" of the hotel, but more like a "visitor" for the day/night. I expected an experience equivalent to other known 5 star hotels, where they knew you were a guest of the hotel. Very disappointing.
We all loved this hotel, especially the fab interiors and the friendly staff and helpful concierge.

The atmosphere of this hotel was fantastic. The rooms had quality inclusion and were spacious for an American hotel. The gym, pool and spa were also excellent and the bar was a favorite night spot for my friend and I. The best aspect was the friendliness and knowledge of all staff. If in doubt about activities the Concierge (I spoke with two different individuals) is beyond helpful
The entrance to the hotel is at first slightly confusing. The Lobby is on floor 2 - the first floor feels like a business lobby.

As a former IBMer, I was astounded at the transformation of the building. Everything was gorgeous, both in public spaces and in the room. The room was large and the furnishings were not the usual hotel style. I'll stay there again whenever I'm looking for a treat!
Make sure you get reservations for the restaurant- we were told we didn't need them and ended up eating at the bar. The food was great, though!

I'm from Chicago and wanted to show my girlfriend, who was visiting for the first time, the best Chicago had to offer. From the time we exited the car in the front of the hotel, we were waited on by the most caring staff. Everyone went beyond the normal scope to ensure we were happy. The free WiFi was a bit choppy and slow. It made video streaming cumbersome. As compared to other hotels I've visited, it was very poor.
The hotel had friendly and helpful staff, a great room layout with luxurious finishes and a fantastic location. Would definitely recommend it.
We like everything. Especially consierge service. Mr. Timo is the best consierge I had ever seen. I highly recommend five o'clock tea. It is really very delicious.
I have never stayed in a more comfortable or quieter hotel. I got the best night's sleep when travelling that I have had in many years. My room was beautiful. It overlooked the city, but the soundproofing is so excellent that a pin could be heard dropping in my bedroom. The bed was the most comfortable that I have slept in. Before this, the St. Regis Hotel in NY had the most comfortable bed (but not the quietest rooms - the Ritz on Central Park did have these until their window soundproofing began to age recently). The staff at the Langham are incredibly kind and helpful. Exceptionally professional and interested in the wellbeing of the hotel's clients. Room dining service was perfection. Nothing generic about the meal which was personal and delicous. A hotel to stay in again and again. Thank you so very much.
This place is amazing. We stayed in a suite on the 11th floor. Slightly pricey but well worth it. Amazing view. If you have wondered how royalty are treated, let their amazing staff show you. I felt like a king all week. THANK YOU LANGHAM STAFF!!!!!
Staff, Location and Quality of rooms are second to none. We paid for an upgrade for a room facing the river. Fantastic view and location.
Superlatives abound for this hotel: location, views, art, room, design, lobbies, pool/spa, and Club Langham, but the best is the outstanding service and friendlyness of the staff: housekeeping, reception, concierge, and the Club Langham staff. Many thanks.
The rooms and facilities are excellent - brightly lit and overall giving an impression of modernity. Staff was helpful.
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful in particular some of the bell boys and the waiters when I was having breakfast and dinner. They were very approachable and enthusiastic. Last but not least, the breakfast was fantastic and tasty.

The staff were superb and incredibly helpful with advice and support while the hotel is fantastic, very clean, so well presented in a great location. Would recommend this hotel unreservedly.
The only issue and it is minor, is that there should be 'Do Not Disturb' signs for the doors to let the staff know that no room service is required.
