We were given rooms without windows. The internet in my colleagues room did not work well. We were told that they will move us to a room with a window in the morning. In the morning we were told that every one will be relocated to another hotel as there is an emergency in the hotel. We were not told what exactly is the emergency so we left a third colleague in the hotel and we were worried about her as we did not know the nature of the emergency. When we came back to the hotel after a meeting they were not professional on giving us directions to the new hotel and gave us the wrong hotel. When we sent to the new hotel they did not know about us. It wasted one of our precious two days in Georgetown.

We liked the ambience of the hotel, the location, the closeness of the shops, the eateries and the metro rail. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a smaller room; the location was very good, but the king size bed was too firm, it squeaked each time you got on and off and the air-conditioning system clicked 3-4 times each time it went on.

Room were very clean. It's in the middle of Georgetown, a gorgeous place. Staff is also very helpful. The air conditioner is really too noisy and the rooms need a bit of updating. Old tv should be replaced with flat tv.

It's charm. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable. Closeness to restaurants and the Big Tour Bus stops. Our car was readily available without a long wait when we needed to use it. Overall our stay was very nice and I would recommend the Latham Georgetown Hotel to our friends. I would have liked to have a refrigerator in the room for bottled water and juices. A minor detail, but important for a women to have a second mirror in the main room in addition to the bathroom. It's easier for two people trying to get ready at the same time. I thought $38.00 a day to park our car was high.

Our family enjoyed the rooftop pool every evening. It's in a great location for dining and shopping - close to the waterfront. Valet parking and it's expensive. Had to request a fridge for our room when I thought it already had one - took a day to get it (my son has medicine that needs to be kept cold). No ice machines. No information in the rooms on the area or services. The front desk staff made me feel like I was bothering them when I had to go there for questions or ice. All 3 that I dealt with were the same way, not just one. I think it's overpriced - especially adding $40+ /day for parking.

Great location and friendly staff. This is an older hotel, but it is clean and right in the middle of George Town. We would stay there again. The parking is on the pricy side at $38 per night, but if you are not going to be moving your car around, there is public parking for a flat $11 per day on the weekend. We had bikes in our car and the Hotel staff were happy to bring the car and bikes to us when ever we needed them. This more than made up for the higher cost.

this is my fourth stay at the hotel, and I really love the staff, the location, and the convenience. It's easy to get to my post-graduate program in Georgetown, and I would definitely recommend it. Just need a little more attention to details (like spots on the carpet - maybe just using some "Spot-Shot" or something would work! It sometimes is a teeny bit "tired" but believe me these things are quite minor compared to the wonderful hotel that is the Latham. Would love for breakfast or room service breakfast to start at 6:30 am!

That it is in Georgetown on M Street. Would be nice if there are also tea bags in the room and not just coffee. The small TV should be upgraded many levels up.

Nice hotel in a perfect location! Right in the heart of Georgetown surrounded by many great places to eat, drink and shop. Rooms are somewhat in need of a refurb. Carpets and wallpaper is starting to look a bit grubby. Ditto bathroom. It's not a cheap hotel so the management/owners need to re-invest in some updating! Also pool was closed during my visit, which was a shame as it was a very hot weekend and a swim would have been much appreciated.

The location was perfect. It was a treat to have free wi-fi. The amenities were very poor. There was no mini fridge. There were no robes (I think the advance material said that there would be robes). The bathroom was tiny. The towels were very small. The TV was very small. There was an outdoor pool advertised but it was covered; the pool patio area had no chairs or any place to sit in the sun.

The staff is friendly. The carriage suites are a treat. Location is superb. Room service was really good as well. Rooms will have to be revamped in the near future so might lose its 80's charm. The pool should have been open as the weather was perfect for it, but they said it opens two weeks later.

I had to attend an event at Georgetown University, and the location of the hotel is convenient to m Street, although a long walk to the school. The Bellmen were wonderful. Those at the actual desk - when there was anyone at the desk - not so much. I thought I was getting a decent size double room. It Was a "double" with two queen beds, but you could Literally barely turn around in it. Very small.. And the bathroom was a joke. Two people couldn't even Stand in it, much less use it at the same time. Also, very noisy from the hallway. All in all, it was a good location, but you better only plan to Sleep there.

Very little except location. Beware the rooms starting with a 3! They are in the basement with no windows! I can't even imagine that this could be legal. Toilet needed jiggling, shower triCkled The next night we were upstairs - ac so loud you had to choose between sleeping or being cool. The place is run down and booking.com should warn internautes of basement rooms (hotel said all "standard" rooms booked pn booking.com are in basement.) See above. This is a warn down sad hotel that needs to. Be bought!,,
