Very attractive boutique hotel staffed by excellent people. It was a delight to stay at The Lenox

Staff were excellent and very helpful. Location good. Bed was one of the most comfortable I have come across.

No in room facilities for making a drink. No in house bar facilities until 4.30pm. The one attached was dark at anytime of day.

We enjoyed the location and attentiveness of the staff. The hotel was clean and we would love to return for another visit with the exception of another bed.

The bed was not comfortable and we didn't sleep well as it was soft and uneven.

We appreciate the comfortable beds and having a quiet sleep; most of the rooms we have stayed in over the years are quite spacious - good when you are 3 or 4 to a room. However, this time the room was a bit smaller...and on this occasion there were the four of us. We enjoyed the pub for a mid afternoon snack and the restaurant for breakfast. Staff was courteous and helpful. In the big picture we enjoyed our stay and will most likely be back again.

The room we occupied this time was a bit small for a family of 4. (My wife along with other family members has stayed numerous times over the past - 10 years). The t.v. placed on the one dresser in front of the mirror and no lighting over the large full size wall mirror was disappointing. The desk appeared a bit tired. This was the worst room my wife has ever stayed in at your hotel. The breakfast was good - she missed the opportunity for a delicious gourmet offering she has had in the past.

The friendly staff, the complimentary water bottles in the cooler and yummy cookies at the reception, the excellent location.. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay

The housekeeping cart was one foot from my room door for the entire visit Tight bathroom

Staff excellent from booking to check out. Friendly, helpful.

Location was excellent - walked to Fenway Park, restaurants, shopping. Few taxis needed.

Missed having a coffee maker in room.

The hotel was centrally located to everything and the staff was fabulous. I joked around about the hgtv channel being staticky and they comped our breakfast. Great hotel will stay there again on our next visit.

Loved the kind, family, friendly feeling. And of course the smell. Yummmm.

Nothing really, but...the beds weren't that comfortable, I was on 11th floor so no down, could have been the reason. Food at the city table didn't meet expectations for the price.

Great location and ambient.....

I stayed at The Lenox two nights with my husband and our two daughters. We were greeted extremely well - the staff was extremely professional and only wanted what was best for us - always making sure we were ok. The room was spacious and very clean. The location was also excellent. We would definitely stay there again

Great location.

This is old and smelly hotel and my stay was miserable. I was in Jr. Suite on 11th pure® floor that supposed to have state-of-the-art air purification. Despite an assurance that I would enjoy a perfect night’s slumber I couldn't sleep, because of noise from faulty plumbing in a ceiling. Instead of having a breath of fresh air I was struggling to breathe because of renovation on the same floor. When I complained they offered me free breakfast moved me to a quiet room on 3rd floor. "Quiet" room was anything, but quiet. Street noise from traffic kept me up all night and construction noise from a building next door wouldn't let rest during a day I understand that Lenox is a historic hotel and Duke Ellington composed there, but times have changed and it needs to renovated. I will not stay in this hotel in a future.

We liked everything about this hotel.The staff were exceptional,they did everything possible to make our stay a memorable one.It was during our wedding anniversary and they upgraded us to a suite,plus a bottle of bubbly in the fridge.while the hotel does not have tea or coffee making facilities in the room,don't hesitate to ask for a flask of boiling water etc. The hotel is in a good location for shopping and is just a block away from the nearest subway stop with connections to all lines and just one change away from the airport. The hotel has a lovely lobby where one can relax by the fire,a good restaurant and bar.There is an Irish pub adjoining(If you're into that kind of thing)but if you just want to have a cup of tea and a piece of gateaux,then go elsewhere.If we should ever visit Boston again we would definately have no hesitation in staying here and would recommend it to any of our friends.To the Lenox hotel we say thank you.

old world charm

extremely modest room, low floor, view of shaft...when I booked directly through the Lenox..not through booking.com.....had a much nicer room

The best customer service! Each and every employee greeted us with a smile and a hello. We received a complimentary beverage in the evening, this was a nice touch!

Excellent location, super friendly staff and immaculate rooms - would definitely stay again.

Great Location-easy to get to restaurants, sites and shopping.

Needs some updating in the rooms- bathrooms especially in order to be more luxurious.

Staying at the Lenox was by far the best hotel experience I have ever had. Not only were the day-to-day interactions with the staff pleasant, they often went out of their way to help us with things. The nicest thing was when I was waiting for a couple of friends down in the lobby for awhile and some one asked me if I would like a drink. When I asked if I could charge it to my room, she said, "Oh no that's okay. It's on us!" I intend to recommend the hotel to any friends that are traveling to Boston in future.

older building and I could hear people above me. There was a inch space under my door that hall light came through

From the moment we stepped out of the car for valet parking to checking in the staff were very welcoming and courteous. My friend was celebrating a birthday and they had boxed 6 cupcakes to celebrate the occasion, very thoughtful.

The junior suite rooms are very comfortable; the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We have stayed here twice, and would definitely return.

There really is nothing I didn't like.
