The Liberty Hotel, A Luxury Collection Hotel  

Building looks nice from the outside also nice restaurants and bars in the hotel.

I booked a superior room with a kingsize bed and the hotel simply sold our room to someone else and gave us a worse room. Then when I complained they lied at me saying that they cannot guarantee the room when booked through a third party. After having gotten in touch with booking the hotel finally admitted their mistake. However they wantes to make up for it by simply giving us a free breakfast.

Great location with an interesting concept.

Seems to cater more to the locals versus its own hotel visitors. It fails to cross all the t's and dot all the i's for what a luxury hotel should be. Attention to detail with close supervision is necessary to provide the luxury experience., I.E., light bulbs out in rooms, elevator access cards are difficult to read by the elevator, bathrooms not properly stocked with tissues and towels.

The service is excellent without being pretentious. The facilities are beautiful, as it is a renovated city jail. They've done an amazing job of incorporating the jail into the new architecture.

Great hotel. Right next to the hospital which is why we selected it. Very pleasant stay, would go back and will definitely reccomend!

Hotel staff is fantastic,polite,helping We stayed for five nights,it was awesome.Rooms are tidy,clean and modern.Well situated next to the metro .Also walking distances to many attraction

50$ for breakfast at the Clink is way to much considering there are no table cloth on the table,just the bare essencial,it is lacking class compared to the rest of the hotel.

The staff was quite friendly as well as helpful. The area was very charming, and conveniently located. The food at the clink was exceptional and the service there was outstanding.

My wife and I have a complaint about our room change. We will write a separate letter to voice our complaint.

Very interesting restoration of a former jail, great architecture left intact and turned into a warm luxury space. Friendly staff, nicely appointed rooms.

Not much to dislike except perhaps the cost of valet parking,

For a luxury hotel ... I was up all night because the heating system did not operate properly The shower did not get beyond warm The noise outside at 3am was incredible Not what I would expect of a "luxury" hotel

It has such character & unique design based on its history. Wonderful food avail, great location.

Room was small & shower was tiny. Rate of $350/nt was too steep for room amenities in our extensive hotel experience!

The site is very different and the owners have done a nice job in retaining the original architecture to provide a unique hotel.

There was a regatta in Bosston the same weekend I stayed there, and as a result, we were royally ripped off for the room. The price per night for two of four nights was not disclosed at the time of booking, and the type of room I requested was not available when we checked in... So we were supposedly "upgraded," but the room location was noisy and the room itself was only set up for one person rather than two. This was my second stay at the hotel; I was very disappointed with the room, the extremely noisy events held on weekend nights in the lobby, and the extra hundreds of dollars charged for a small room. For the money, I could have gotten a big suite at a 4-star hotel.

The staff made every effort to make our stay pleasant. They often went above and beyond.
