Love The Lodge! Have stayed here more than once and will always return if I need a great place in Santa Fe.
The room was nice but it was not the room I was shown on-line. The picture looked like a very romantic room. But it was nice only problem was the bed was hard. Also housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:00am. A little early for a weekend getaway!!
Good location. Place was nice with good staff.
Beds were not comfortable. Too soft and poor quality.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel could be cleaner. There was not a fan in the bathroom and blinds were broken.
Location to everything was perfect! Awesome trails behind hotel for long walks with dogs was super!! Front desk people were so nice and helpful. We had a kiva room and enjoyed having a fire every evening !
The rooms were Great
You did not have a casual location in the lobby or restaurant for us early risers to have coffee, rolls and watch TV.
The decor is cute and friendly staff that let us move from room to room until we finally got the one we had requested. Location is more tucked away than other hotels in that area which was nice.
Had to change rooms three times before getting our requested room. Feels more like a motel with bare minimum items. Tube tv buzzes at a high pitch frequency, no microwave or fridge. The bathrooms are old and loud buzzing after flushing. Not worth what we paid. Spend 30 more dollars a night, stay at one of the charming hotels in the downtown area and get what you're paying for.
We liked the location & the shuttle. The grounds are very nice & the little Chapel. A woman at the front desk was especially helpful. Our bed was very comfortable & we very much enjoyed the hotel..
I booked on line, where I live in Colorado. It was my Husband & my anniversary & on line I was shone the king size bed with the four posted bed & drapes with a beautiful Indian rug above the bed. I especially picked this out for our anniversary. Loving how romantic it looked, & it looking very Santa Fe. When we arrived we did not get that room, just a king size regular bed. It definately was a disappointment & miss advertised.
My friends and I took a 2 week art retreat, and the Lodge was one of our selected hotels. We loved the room, the grounds, the view, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The van into the city was a great convenience. The suggested dinner at Hotel St Francis was also incredible! We enjoyed as well as created some fantastic art!
There were no negatives! We loved our stay and will plan on staying at the Lodge again.
Location excellent. Staff nice. Limo to town every hour on the hour.
Food and service in the restaurant very poor. Do NOT eat there.
Fantastic value for the money....central location...wonderful night's sleep. We would highly recommend.
The shuttle bus to the plaza, the location and the rooms. The bus driver that picked us up in the afternoon and evening was awesome! We enjoyed the lounge, the bartender remembered us both nights!
We went to the restaurant the first morning and waited for @ 10 min to be seated. No one did we were told by the waiter to seat ourselves, but not in the window section. We sat next to it and waited,my daughter had to get our menus,we waited,no service. When we got tired of it and got up to leave , the waiter got rude and said he was the only one there. Where is your staff?
Location - shuttle driver nice
Food not good / service just ok - front desk staff snotty / Dirty hot tub! They closed it while we were there after we complained - pool tile grout gone - filthy filthy carpet
- the rooms were nicely decorated - the pool and the hot tub - free water in the lobby
- WiFi was only working in the lobby - no free breakfast - TV reception of poor quality
They couldn't seem able to get their wireless working properly.
Great view. Comforty beds. Did not stay all day long. sight seeing and visiting family.
Not enough towels. We were four to a room. two adults and two grandkids (22-17). whirl pool nasty.
Location - proximity to SF Opera.
I should have asked to have a room facing south to the City and the pool area. We were placed in a room overlooking the parking lot and a sand lot.
Shower and wi fi did not work. Moved to another room
Conveniently located with a great view. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Made my trip easy and relaxing.
Wifi signal was weak. Thats it.
Performance by members from the Pueblo were very good. Much appreciated. Worth the price of the stay.
Room was a bit disappointing. Few amenities. Needs updating and fixing up.
The mini king room was spacious.
Difficulty of unloading and loading car. Ice machine nearest room did not work. Handicap room not available.
Fabulous location, although slightly out of the centre of Santa Fe, but there is a shuttle that runs between all the hotels in the group..up to 9pm. Taxi's are inexpensive though so no real drama's. Facilities are great, Staff friendly and very helpful..all in all a great place to stay ...
leaving the hotel !!So sad .... :(
Overall the place was good.
The carpets were dirty. The place needs an upgrade.
The location was perfect for exploring the whole Santa Fe area, to include Taos and other nearby town's art art and cultural attractions. The room we stayed in was attractive and very comfortable. The views from the hotel of the National Cemetery and mountains was incredible.
Would have liked to have a small refrigerator and microwave in the room.
Pool, free shuttle to plaza
Pool area was dirty, carpets throughout facility were dirty, restaurant was dirty, housekeeping woke us before 8am daily, room was small, bathroom toilet ran
