The scenery and skiing were great. The Lodge was basic, but the rooms were quiet and well laid out.
Very limited dining and entertainment options. Relatively few intermediate slopes.
Staff. My room had a beautiful view.
Nothing to do for kids besides skiing or snow boarding. Food every where was horrible and extremely expensive. Over crowded and the facilities were too small.
It was a beautiful location. It had a gorgeous balcony. I was central to all the action. Loved it!
The prices at all of the restraunts...so high!
Very clean; responsive and helping staff; nice view from the hotel; full-kitchen equipment.
Sofa-bed for sleeping: not what I expected for such a price.
Every thing but the front desk staff was top notch.
Went to the restaurant 10 floors up...dont remember the name... My server was a bit unprofessional...not attentive to my needs and I would have stayed longer and ordered another drink but he was too busy looking for a key. Never did he ask how my meal was and when he finally returned to my table it was 10 minutes after I had finished both meal and beer. As for the meal ...lobster mac n cheese..the claw meat placed on top was saved for last....it was very over cooked.
We loved staying here. The rooms were large, the staff was great!. We will definitely stay here again!
location and ease of getting on the mountain
out door location of lockers and no elevated from Lockers to the first floor
the possibility of opening windows to let fresh air inside; friendly staff; two washbasins, many mirrors
Wifi was slow. No oven mitts
Lack of a real bed; only a pullout from a couch
What a great lodge. Right next to the Snowbird center, and the tram and all the shops. Our single room studio-suite is a brilliant idea. Full kitchen and fireplace, plus 180 view of the mountain, fold out bed was no problem. Closest thing to skiing in France I've ever seen in the US.
I really appreciated the staff, everybody was courteous, helpful and prompt
The lodge is really old, well maintained but old Although everything very clean, the blankets are old, shabby and somehow depressing
Complimentary mints and candies. No bed bugs. Free wireless internet. Seemed safe. Easy access out the back door to the "Snowbird Center". Aerial tram ride is awesome and worth the $15. Easy shuttle ride from the airport (Canyon Transportation). Beautiful mountain views with balcony and sliding glass and screen doors to let the air in. The beds don't smell like random strange people have slept in them (you know that weird smell).
Curtains needed to be cleaned. There was gross red stuff on the rubber curtain that you pull to keep the light out. Also someone had dumped some red-colored liquid down one of the walls. Sticky gel spot on the carpet that never dried. Almost impossible to eat at Snowbird. Outrageously expensive ($2.50 for a 20 oz. soda in vending machine.) Note: I was there in September so it wasn't prime time (AKA it wasn't ski season). It was really hard to find food that didn't come out of the vending machine or wasn't nasty pizza or a dry sandwich (the only places to eat up there are resort-related). The fine dining stuff is amazing but outrageously priced and an uphill walk to the Cliff Lodge. The less expensive stuff located at the lodge (like The Lodge Bistro and others) have limited hours. No air-conditioning.
The room, the view, the wildlife seen from our balcony. It was GREAT!
The men"s dressing steam and sauna don"t open til 10:00am It makes no noise, it should open when the weight room does.
