The Lodge at Turbat's Creek  

Was unpretentious, very adequate breakfast included clean comfortable room with all necessary amenities. Sophie at reception was a star.

Really excellent value!!The room was huge and very peaceful with 2 queen beds , plenty of fluffy towels and everything you would expect from a much more expensive hotel.We had an excellent night's sleep and regretted that we only had enough time for one night. Sophia(name?) on reception, was really lovely and welcoming and suggested a route to take for an afternoon's trip in Kennebunkport and an excellent restaurant for our evening meal(incidentally among the best in a month-long trip to New England--wonderful seafood!) A very peaceful location , would be lovely in the summer.

We stayed during Hurricane Sandy and received a warm welcome from Sophie who ensured our comfort and safety and went that extra mile to help us. Comfortable lodge in a beautiful countryside setting.

Fairly basic but clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Nice bush setting.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

The continental breakfast was disappointing, and the room was very basic.

Staff friendly, location was good, was nice and quiet, continental breakfast was good, pastry was excellent and so was the coffee!!!! : ) budget friendly

My wife and I had a very pleasant 2 night stay. The manageress was very helpful and gave us excellent recomendations for restaurants in the Kennebunk port area.

Small, quiet, very well kept, close enough to Goose Rocks Beach.

It was great to have a breakfast, but for those of us with dietary restrictions (no sugar, no gluten), slim pickens. Fresh fruit (not canned) and plain yogurt would have been nice. Whole grain pastries would have been nice.

We were very happy with the accommodations at the Lodge. The room was clean and comfortable. A complete continental breakfast with excellent coffee was provided as well as a frig in the room, What we appreciated most was the friendly atmosphere, particularly the person who took care of our needs. Her name is Sophie and she could not have been more accommodating. She told us where to find the best meals in the area and even made our reservations for us. We would definitely return to the Lodge if we are fortunate enough to revisit the area. Lake Arrowhead, CA Residents.

There was nothing not to like. It was all wonderful.

A great place to stay, away from all the hustle of the downtown area.

Cleanliness and the helpfulness of staff

Pool could use some sprucing up

It was very quaint, off the beaten path but nice. It reminded meier of a beach condo with the wooden steps & the simple but clean rooms. I would stay there again for a single night just passing through.

We were gone into Kennebunkport the whole day so it was a nice place to spend the night. I think the next time we go back we would probably get a place closer to the shops. It was a good value though.

Location short distance to beach & shops. Sophie desk clerk goes above and behond to make you feel welcome and at home. Future trips to this area I will be staying here

It was quite and very clean. Staff was cheerful and very helpful Location is a little far out but worth the stay Will stay there again on our next trip to Maine. Thank you, Turbat's Creek

this is a great place to stay and relax.Close to the downtown core but just outside so it is super quiet with all the ambience of being on the coast.The pool wasreally clean and out of the wind so a change from the beach plus the water temp was great.Sophie at the front desk has all the answers to questions,overall the best holiday we have had in years,stayed for 4 days wish we were still there!

Good value, beautiful surroundings, friendly staff

Sophie (front desk) was wonderful. Made us feel very welcome to the area. The room was clean & comfortable after a very long drive.

I would have preferred a room farther from the office (right next door), despite the location it was still very quiet & peaceful.

No hay ascensor y la subida a la segunda planta con maletas algo dura.

Die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben.

Im Vorfeld hatten wir um ein Zimmer in der 1. Etage gebeten - leider wurde dieser Wunsch nicht berücksichtigt. Der Frühstücksbereich ist zu klein, so dass Gäste auf ihre Zimmer ausweichen mussten. Das Frühstück selbst war nur süß.
