The room was very large.
No view out of the back to the valley.
Over priced. Breakfast was a joke.;
Comfortable clean room. Attentive staff. Very clean and quiet
location, recommendations from owners, cleanliness
We loved the style of the room. The staff was friendly and the lodge was very clean. We also loved that every room is a non-smoking room.
We liked everything.
I loved the large tub, the décor, and the service. The pillows were super fluffy and the sheets were nice.
The bed mattress was a little hard.
Very comfortable environment.
Owners are super nice. We were on our honeymoon and had a Jacuzzi room. It was very clean and comfortable. Décor was also super nice! We will definitely return to the Lookout Lodge!
The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable.
the jacuzzi tub wooden floors theme of the room
lots of character, cozy feel, beds very comfortable, staff very friendly,
No dislikes but one suggestion, a fire pit of some kind in the atrium, maybe electric.
Liked the decor, cleanliness, and price.
Would have liked a small fridge and microwave. Suppose their jacuzzi rooms have them.
The owners were super nice. They gave us great suggestions on where to eat. The location was peaceful. The atrium was great place to eat breakfast. We loved the view off the back deck. The adult only level is a great idea. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The list of suggested activies to do in Eureka Springs was very helpful.
It would be nice to offer a refrigerator in room (could be at an extra cost). As my husband is an earlier raiser, he would of loved a tv in the atrium to watch and drink coffee while waiting on the group to get up. None of the above were deal breakers we will stay here again.
Good location Friendly staff Comfortable rooms
Clean, consistent theme
I think there were bed bugs
Excellent value for the dollar in the jacuzzi suite! Cleaan, quaint, quiet, and just the ticket to relax!
Breakfast was just 'ok'
We needed a hook in the bathroom and would have liked a small refrigerator and coffee pot in the room.
The hotel is really well located, just nearby the Highway 62, but well- isolated and facing the forest. No problem with noise while sleeping despite having the windows wide open. The owners are very friendly and provided us with a list of worthy places to visit in Eureka Springs, all of which were of interest, especially when it came to restaurants. All in all, a great hotel for a vacation!
The extreme friendliness of the owners helped make this place even better than it already was. Sonya & Robert (who looks like a "Phil" to me & I think I called him that too many times!) were great! The room we were in was very spacious & comfortable. The bed was comfortable & the room quiet...except for the occasional Harley. The shower had exceptional pressure & flow and the water heated quickly.
The continental breakfast opened at 8:00am & only had cereal, packaged pastry, bananas, apples, packaged oats, orange juice, coffee & milk.
Very convenient to all activities planned. Owners were very hospitable and provided excellent information regarding the area.
Could not provide refund for tickets unable to use due to medical emergency.
can't say enough about how much I like this place
I was worried by other reviews. But figured the good out weighed the bad. We checke in meeting te owner Sonja. She was lovely! Then we hit the hot tub ASAP. It was quiet, no kids allowed on our floor (we have six at home so this was a treat) clean, relaxing, and hut why we needed! Thanks Bill And Sonja!!!!
The owners are very friendly, very accommodating, and very communicative. We received several emails from them prior to our stay, reminding us of our stay and asking if we had any requests. Even though the lodge is on Hwy 62, it is difficult to hear the traffic while in your room. The lodge has a little "atrium" area where you can sit and enjoy the other guests, or just relax and drink your coffee. We were traveling with two 11 y/o and one 8 y/o, and the lodge was perfect. We will definitely try to come back again the next time we are up in Eureka Springs.
The Lookout Lodge is a great place to stay. Very hospitable welcome, location great, very quiet and I plan on going back!
Nothing! It was all we expected and more.
No coffee or continental breakfast was available until after 8:00AM and the rudeness of owners was very unnecessary. Advertised a continental breakfast (no time given) but nothing available until after 8:00. Was told that we could have had a coffee maker in our room upon request but nothing was said about a coffee maker when we checked in nor was there anything about an available coffee maker in the book provided stating the amenities offered. We didn't think much about not having a coffee maker in the room until there was no coffee available when we went to the office area 3 times where a continental breakfast was to be served and couldn't even get in at 8:00 so we went on down the highway to find a place to eat. We stopped back by to tell them that we would be gone until about 2:00 when we planned to come back and rest. The owner asked rudely if we had put the tag on the door for service. We hadn't as we assumed they would try to get to our room before we got back (there was nothing said in the book about the tag). When we returned everything was cleaned, beds made and a coffee maker was provided. We avoided further contact with the owner and left early the next morning after having coffee in our room. We won't bother them again. They need to change their mannerisms if they are going to serve the public.
