Please get the elevator fixed.
Close to subways, Central Park and Natural History Museum
One of the elevators was broken, at times it took a quite a while to get to or from the room. We asked for extra pillows twice but there were none available.
The staff was friendly and helpful.I love the location on the upper west side.
Perfect location if visiting university of Columbia. Rooms stylish, clean and functional.
I have no complaints.
I very comfortable and pleasant room with a convenient and good place for breakfast. Staff friendly.
Great part of town. Close to the park. Convenient, clean, well maintained Friendly staff
Room was cold Heater was very loud and did not adequately heat the room Heavy curtains did not close in the middle so did not keep out light from street. Also didn't help keep the room warmer. Coffee maker didn't work initially.. when it did work was not very good. Limited choice.
the restaurant attached to the hotel was over priced and mediocre. They are not part of the hotel though and neighborhood options are great.
Room was immaculate. For our needs the location was great, but we are in NYC reguarly. Upper West Side may not be ideal for tourists looking for central location. 2 blocks off central park was nice too
I can't think of anything expect for the curtains didn't fully touch at the top making room for a small amount of light to break through. Not too great if really tired or jet lagged etc but also not enough for us to say anything!
The room was larger than I expected and the bed was very comfortable (just what you need when you've been walking around all day). It's also a really quick walk to Central Park which was lovely. The room was super warm (it got down to -13 whilst we stayed) and clean. We didn't try the breakfast etc but we did have dinner at the restaurant next door which was superb.
nice Martin way overpriced. walked in and then walked out.
The location is perfect as basis for museum visiting in particular and sightseeing in general. The hotel is also closely located to a metro station.
We appreciated the location--very close to museums, Lincoln Center and local eateries abound. Very worth the $$.
I wish there had been a coffee maker in the room as well as a small refrigerator. I believe they would offer them if I had asked. We only stayed one night so it was not a big deal. Coming again in March so I will ask. Still a great hotel!
What a wonderful hotel that makes you feel important as a guest. Staff was great, hotel was clean and located close to subway and many great restaurants. Parking was located across street as well!
The staff, the location and decor
Long wait to check in. Understaffed front desk I guess to save money. Room had terrible view and I was not offered another choose. Decor was dated. Truly feels like ownership is just trying to milk money without improving anything.
Location of the hotel.
The AC is making a crazy noise. It' s a shame cause everything else was perfect. But I did not really liked the wake up noise every x minutes.
Location. The style of the hotel. The accommodations. The staff. Great experience .... except the AC noise in the bedroom.
Some rooms need a little pick-me-up as the decor is elegant but a trifle dated. Giant desk chairs are way too big and get in the way in the room. Cupboard safes are not always ideally located.
The hotel is an attractive old world style place. on the Upper West Side near some good restaurants. Buses and subways are conveniently located. There is a doorman and concierge available to help with things. Newspapers are delivered to the room without charge. Staff is ready to help with anything needed. Nice-Matin restaurant connects through the lobby for breakfast. All in all a very good value for money hotel.
The heater was very noisy!!!!!!!!
Good furnishings in the room/
Housekeeping did not make up our room one day, until we called after 5 pm
The staff did not help with luggage at 2am when we arrived. No luggage racks to use. Staff was less than helpful. Very disappointing
No hotel parking. No valet service. Had to drive around looking for overnight parking.
The lighting in the rooms. It was on the dark side.
I liked the charm of the hotel. The staff was professional. I would go back.
No self service laundry, counter staff not very helpful or friendly. Cost more than we had expected.
Separate sitting room with TV and mini kitchen
close central Park
