Score from 1180 reviews Very good
This hotel is old and worn. It is trying to be a kind of "boutique" hotel but it falls flat. I believe it is a time share hotel which might explain a certain lack of maintenance. We paid too much to stay here.
Size of room Cleanliness Comfort of bed Size of TV Location
Staff didn't make you feel at home No effort made for our honeymoon Payment error meant that we were incorrectly charged Expensive
Fantastic stay at the Manhattan Club. Everything is perfect: staff, location, suite, comfort.
The elevators are fairly slow specially early morning and evening.
The location. The minikitchen so rare in Manhattan. The Front Desk and concierge services.
The lack of elevators, sometimes spending more than ten minutes to get the lift to go down. Room was excellent but with poor noise treatment, so you could hear all the noises from outside the room, including people talking and cleaning machines. And the last days there was a terible sewage smell in the bathroom, specially in the shower, sometimes getting into the bed area.
You can't beat the location and the spaciousness of the rooms, if you book the one bedroom with the 2 bathrooms.
I am a member and I am not allowed to book rooms when I want. If I want to be guaranteed a room, I have to book it on line just like the rest of the non owners. I am sooo glad that the company is now barred from selling any more memberships. Owners are at the bottom of the pile.
The size of the room, the shower, the bed! Location is great, but quiet!!
Breakfast a little too expensive and no so much variation. And on Sunday my room still hadn't' been cleaned at 2.30pm. Wifi sometimes not strong enough.
Room size is good
Elevator takes long time
The location was excellent. Right in the middle of manhattan
the staff in the breakfast room. sooo friendly and the house keeping staff moved moutains to find us large buttons . for my husbands slacks
the room we were assigned was accessible only through a service and construction elevator. awful
Under major renovation
Loved the location and having a separate bedroom and 2 bathrooms
Had problems with the elevators ,waited 15 minutes one day as it passed the 14 th floor.rooms very musty smell and very noisy .
Location; valet parking
construction noise curt check-in/reception staff
Nice big suite, think the check in staff gave upgrade to bigger suite. I left my license in the room and they did send it back to me. Service was very good on that
Poor attention to detail (few things didn't work in the room and carpets were still wet from shampooing ) called housekeeping for razor and shave cream, they never brought it. Wi- Fi didn't work ( at least not for me)
Location, professional staff, bed was very comfortable
great location. comfortable setting.
could use bathroom heater.
The room set up is awesome and spaciousus
It does not have. the ability off adjusting roomntemperature, was pretty hot, even with the heater off, tere should be other options such ceiling or portable fan.
Location is excellent, staff was great, very friendly and courteous. Anything we requested we were provided for very quickly. Would definitely return.
Curtains on windows need to be replaced. Bedding for sleeper sofa need improvements. Covers for the sleeper sofa mattress was not as clean as expected. Temperature inside the hotel was too warm, but understandably, it was freezing cold outside the hotel since it was December.
We were traveling with two teenage daughters so we loved having two bathrooms. We had to leave early due to a death in our family and we were treated with compassion & were pleasantly surprised that our bill was credited for the night we didn't stay. Thank you!
Of course we all would like to have to spend a little less, but overall no complaints, maybe wished it was a little closer to Penn Station.
Nice location for new years eve in NYC
Getting a phonecall from the hotel trying to sell me timeshare.
Great hotel, clean and big rooms. Suites were perfect to fit 4 adults has they had 2 bath rooms. The hotel is 5 min from Times Square and Central Park.
The hotel is pricey.
Size of room was good and location can't be beat. Nice to have a kitchen
Hotel is showing signs of age, condensation gathered inside on windows and sills, bathroom in need of repair, furniture stained, stale smelling, bathroom small for size of room, could not adjust thermostat so room overheated
The staff that work's for Manhattan Club was fantastic on taking care of us and providing a very pleasant experience, we enjoyed the location of the hotel and didn't have a single unpleasant experience while we were there. We will definately be back in the future.
perfect location, excellent rooms, great service
elevators are slow, would have liked some hot breakfast options
The room was clean, and the location was great.
The conciage was extremely poor and very distant. We were at the desk and almost had to pry help out of her. The room was not what it was in the pictures. Queen suites are even bigger at the Holiday Inn. After spending 500 dollars on the room, I had left some medication in the room. They called and had to get a credit card to send it back to me in Colorado. How is that satisfaction? I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I am a Windham time share owner.
