free bottles of water, restaurant & bar, sitting room with free lattes, staff was nice & friendly & would come fairly quickly to fix or bring anything, liked the ambience of the room just in the room: could not control heat, air blowing out of a/c was too loud if you cranked it down, didn't like to be hit with blast of air when I crossed in front of unit, need more light in room especially over by the closet - hard to see in full-length mirror (we were in room 211 - a handicapped room - everything else was nice about it) |

Location. Absolutly central and easy to move from there to any part of New York. Old Club feeling, the sense of being in an old New York Hotel. The rooms, the hall and the bar are nice. Practical gym. Breakfasts were too complicated, there was a lack of a simple continental breakfast or traditional eggs breakfast. The hotel staff was a bit rude and unfocused. The room was very cold, complicated to warm and very noisy. |
