Amazing people amazing place
We went up with no plan, just looking for a relaxing weekend. Jeffrey had tons of ideas and was very helpful! So much fun, great breakfast, lots of fun during wine hour, and so close to a lot of great places! We saw Salem, Marblehead, and Rockport over the weekend. The place was charming and clean. Would absolutely return!
Very nice place to relax , Jeffrey the inn keeper is very helpful and easy chat to with good advise on what to do and see
We felt as if we were guests in someone's home. Both the accomodations and the amenities/hospitality were lovely. We would definitely consider a return visit!
Very interesting old building. Charming host. Excellent breakfast.
Nothing at all.
Jeffery is a marvelous host. We felt just like family from the moment we walked in. The Inn is beautifully kept, clean, comfortable, welcoming... We stayed on the 3rd floor and had our own little suite.... Would have loved to stay longer.
We could pretend to our friends that we stayed at the Bates Motel....spookey.
At 8pm the receptionist went home and the hotel was left unmanned until the following morning. Our previous night was spent in an hotel with all modern fascilities, a pool, a spa and rereshments in our room... and all for half the price of The Marblehead. It was nice oldie worldie....but not at he price they are charging.
Jeffrey the inn keeper is simply amazing. So warm and inviting, breakfast was always awesome. Coffee around the clock. Perfect place
it was beautiful inside and out. staff helped me get a taxi and brochures to help on my trip. 10min outside of salem. it was wonderful
I have nothing but positive things to say. My wife and I chose the hotel since it was about 10 minutes from Salem. The exorbitant prices in Salem pushed us outside, and that was the best thing that could have happened. That is how we found this gem, and I mean it. Though they are not a B&B, their continental breakfast far surpasses anything that I am used to. There was cereal, yogurt and fresh, locally made pastries as well as fresh fruit. On top of that, Jeffrey (the Innkeeper) kept snack food out all day and had a wine hour. He even set some food aside for the morning of our flight, since it was a ridiculously early flight. Speaking of Jeffrey, he was a very pleasant person. My wife and I often found ourselves speaking with him like we had been friends for years. He respects the area’s history and suggested some great things to do. We enjoyed ourselves so much, that we are trying to find excuses for our next trip to the Inn and the New England area.
Loved the accommodations and the location was great! Jeffrey was very helpful with the area and how to get around. Breakfast was very European and everything was fresh with many selections. I would definitely return
Very nice older home with refurbished rooms.
No elevator, quite a few stairs to the third floor.
Jeff was friendly and very helpful Coffee and snacks were good Room was attractive, clean, quiet
My boyfriend and I booked our stay at the Marblehead Inn to explore Marblehead and Salem. We had a long drive and it was so nice to be greeted by Jeffrey who had cookies and coffee waiting. We were so comfortable in our room and really enjoyed our conversations with Jeffrey, he really made us feel at home and we really appreciated that. Plus the breakfasts with the local cheeses were delicious! I made my boyfriend go back and get me seconds because I was embarrassed at how much I loved the food! We can't say enough about how great our experience was but thank you so much for a great weekend! We love Marblehead and plan to return!:O)
We loved everything! xo
We had a lovely stay at the Marblehead Inn. The manager, Jeffrey, was very friendly and helpful, our breakfasts were always very good with good variety and there was even a happy hour with wine every day. We felt quite at home.
The staff was awesome. The young lady at the front desk was great. (Kathleen I think). Gave us great place to go eat and things to go see. Great history and the muffins that they had for breakfast were the best we ever had.
Leaving!!! We wanted to stay longer!
Hotel and area were very nice and everyone was ve friendly
hard to find from Logan airport as directions using Google maps very not very clear
Kathleen the inn keeper was really friendly and helpful. She gave us great recommendations for lunch and dinner.
Our stay couldn't have been better. We were welcomed, met some great people at the hotel, thoroughy enjoyed our breakfasts and fully appreciated the ambience. Great place.
I liked everything about the Inn, but especially Jeffrey. He made the house a home during our stay. His attention to detail and his concern for guests surpassed all expectations. Suite #6 provided us with luxury. Excellent breakfast and enjoyed the availability of snacks at any time. "Wine time" and a visit with Jeffrey completed each day. Loved the combo of contemporary and traditional décor...the best of both worlds. Highly recommend The Inn. Jeffrey was the superlative of superior!
Only one suggestion: Include a sofa bed rather than the couch. I paid extra for a rollaway cot that was inferior. We used the sheet to cover the sofa and slept on it. Had the cot removed, yet paid an additional charge.
The inn is extremely clean and beautiful inside and out. The atmosphere was great as the innkeeper is personable. There was wine and snacks at five o'clock, and the guests gathered for a lively discussion.
I frequent B&B's and travel regularly...this is one of the best inns I have ever stayed in. And Jeffrey, the inn manager is absolutely amazing-great personality. Makes u feel right at home . Accomodations are beautiful and cozy.
One warm dish at breakfast would be nice.
The host /innkeeper was a delight. Very personable and helpful. Wine and cheer hour was a big plus. I only wish I could've stayed for breakfast (early flight).
Street traffic--my room was in the front, so it really couldn't be helped. Next time, will bring earplugs.
