The inn is extremely clean and beautiful inside and out. The atmosphere was great as the innkeeper is personable. There was wine and snacks at five o'clock, and the guests gathered for a lively discussion.
I frequent B&B's and travel regularly...this is one of the best inns I have ever stayed in. And Jeffrey, the inn manager is absolutely amazing-great personality. Makes u feel right at home . Accomodations are beautiful and cozy.
One warm dish at breakfast would be nice.
The host /innkeeper was a delight. Very personable and helpful. Wine and cheer hour was a big plus. I only wish I could've stayed for breakfast (early flight).
Street traffic--my room was in the front, so it really couldn't be helped. Next time, will bring earplugs.
We had asked for car service as we didn't want to drink and drive but the one they suggested already had a fare (one per night it seems). Would be nice if there was more transportation back to the inn after midnight.
Well kept gardens . Beautiful house .Great rooms .
Lots of character. Nice big comfortable rooms. Super breakfast. Jeffrey is a great innkeeper.
Can't think of anything.
Bed and pillows could be more comfortable.
We had the wedding suite and it was perfect! Private, spacious, clean with an outdoor patio which also was very private. The innkeeper, Jeffrey, was always helpful and available to us and the afternoon wine hour was well done and not "kitchy". Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back nex year.
We stayed for 1 night for sleep only. It's clean and had comfortable bed
Location is 30 min away from Boston. we arrived after 9 pm and we were told that there will be no one to help us at the reception and they did us a favour and kept the key outside with instruction paper on how to get to our room !! It's a small house rather than a hotel, properly should be name (Motel). room is small. air condition is very noisy. If your plan to stay in Boston I don't recommend this hotel at all.
We saw the most picturesque region of that corner of the world. Loved the friendliness of host jeffrey and the homey feel of the inn.
Nothing not to like really.
Charming host; very good facilities. Good quality breakfast. Good wi-fi.
Stylish, good taste, perfectly matches one's expectations.
Jeffrey was great! We really enjoyed our time in Marblehead, the Inn is beautiful!
This Inn is first class in the way it supports and looks after it's guests. The parking is excellent in a very congested area.
A lovely old building, lovingly restored, with comfortable rooms (nice bed!) and a fine level of appointments (excellent Jacuzzi). High quality, too, at the breakfast buffet. All in all, a fine and charming place to stay.
history of building and its design
muggy those few days, no access to AC opened windows for relief
Jeffrey misses no details and we found the Inn extremely hospitable
The Inn was a wonderfully kept vintage building, rooms were large, comfortable, and in vintage décor. Jeffrey (innkeeper) did a superb job with all details and was delightful...helpful hints on local sites and places. Very nice breakfast. Will definitely return!
Nothing....couldn't have been better.
We loved the atmosphere of the place. It was clean and comfortable.
Jeffrey the innkeeper was so nice and the accommodations were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and it was a great location. Highly recommend and will return in hue future!
Well Appointed, Big Beautiful Suite, Complimentary Wine, Water, Coffee, Breakfast and all first rate quality.
Thumbs up to the Inn Keeper. The Inn was not only immaculate but the feeling of serenity when you walked in was powerful. The Marblehead Inn was incredibly kept. It was a very memorable experience for myself and my 18 yea old twins. We were all very impressed!!!
