View was beautiful -bed was comfy - breakfast was filling -
Dry creamer with coffee in the room - adding a grab bar to shower entrance -
Room was big enough, clean enough, and comfortable enough. Enjoyed the outdoor restaurant and bar and beach. Did not use any other facilities as it was only a one night stay.
The check in clerk did not inform us as to where our room was. I had to ask the location of our room which was located across the street.
A group of friends came to go to a concert at meadowbrook. This hotel had a great location just a few miles from the venue. Wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the beach bar and beautiful location lakeside
Rooms across the street alittle outdated but clean
The location and view! Having the bar/restaurant right there was also a huge plus! The indoor/outdoor pools & the fitness room!
The bathroom shower curtain had black mold all over it. The toilet ran almost the entire time.
The main facility was very nice with a very nice location on the lake. Our rooms were across the street from main facility. Which was fine because we were only there for the night. If I were to stay longer next time I would book on the Lake side.
Enjoyed having the outside beach bar and food area. Food was very good and reasonable. The staff at the beach bar was very socialable and a tentative. Will return again
Nice beach area
No balconies on the rooms overlooking the lake
Loved private beach, whirlpool, bar, amenities!
Bed was impossible to sleep in for my husband. No chair in room for him to sleep in as an option,
You cannot beat the view from the Lake building. Great beach with a lot of activity. Nice sized swimming pool and hot tub. Centrally located to Weirs Beach and other nearby attractions.
The rooms were a bit dated...carpets need to be cleaned or replaced. We also had some little bugs in our bathroom sink. Beds were old and creaked like they were old.
Building to old dirty carpet
Easy to locate late at night after the concert my friend and I attended. Beautiful view of the lake out the rear sliding doors. Wished I had booked another night or two!
Private beach, indoor pool
Room was located across the street from the main hotel. We should have known that at booking. The bathroom had mold and floors were sticky.
Indoor pool, great lakeside bar and restaurant, clean modern rooms and excellent breakfast. Can be a little pricey but worth it.
The rooms were large and the beds were "super" comfy. The staff was friendly and eager to help.
Our booking said the "breakfast was included". The breakfast offered for free was a continental breakfast. If you want "hot food" there was an additional $6.95 charge. Our room was located across the street from the main hotel. Picture on the website showed that it was on the water. Had we known, we wouldn't have unloaded all of our luggage until we got to our building.
Convenience to show at Meadowbrook. The outdoor restaurant on the lake was great! It was close to groceries and the drug store for shopping. Breakfast upcharge was worth the cost.
Needs some updating. Our room was fairly inexpensive but we were right by a busy road with road noise. Quieted down at night but noisy neighbors arrived at 11:30 PM woke us up. The room could have used some updating. Bath room was small with very limited counter space. Not enough plugs in the room. Pool had serious amount of chlorine and burned eyes. Had to purchase eye drops to wash out the chlorine.
Beautiful location, friendly staff
Cellular service only worked in some areas of the hotel.
The location on the water. It was beautiful.
The resort has weddings. When we arrived on Friday, there was a wedding reception that night right above our heads. The noise from the band was endless. They also allowed all of the wedding guests to take up our parking spots when there was parking for weddings across the road. There were two more weddings on Saturday. The people from the wedding party were in the rooms on the floor with us. The banging of doors went on throughout the night. A call to the main desk did little - he came up to the floor, didn't hear anything and left. This was disappointing since he was told the room the most banging was coming from. Then at about 10:00 PM, we had to endure fire works going off for about a half hour. At checkout, we were asked about our stay and when we informed her of everything, we didn't even get an apology. If you choose to stay, make sure to find out what is going on at the resort and if you will be getting caught up in it. All we wanted was a place to relax. We paid good money to stay there and were disappointed.
It was a great time. The staff went out of their way to help you and the amenities were awesome
I had holes in my shower curtain and it was plastic. For the price of this room should have been more then a plastic curtain.
Location and scenery/view Bathroom was very clean Breakfast was great
Mold smell in hallway Large amount of dust at carpet's edge and in sliding door
Did not get room location we requested
Food and food service..it was advertised as including breakfast..breakfast was 6.95..what it meant was "continental " breakfast.
I appreciated the fact that it is on the water. The beach is clean and the musicians playing at the bar were very good. Keep in mind we are in high season so the price per night was very good. Breakfast was fine - we had the complementary one, included in the price of the room.
Can't think of anything - the room was clean, pool area also very clean. We would definitely go back.
Location, cleanliness, friendly staff, value was good.
There was a threshold in the doorway of the bathroom that had a rise of about 1/2 inch and was a definite trip hazard for my 83-year-old mom. Also, the molding on the floor between the carpeting and tile, resulting in another trip hazard. Also, the handicapped shower was an issued because there was no actual shower pan and the water poured out onto the floor (there was no overflow drain in the floor) creating another slip and fall hazard.
