The staff is great in the restaurant, they were very accommodating. Frankie was delightful and helpful.
Great energy, great vibe
The rooms are a little small, but well appointed
Staff are excellent
Rooms are a bit small but the location makes up for it
Vibe and location
rooms are small, but who spends time in the room while in the city?
Loved everything-place is in a great location. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and stylish.
staff was friendly, location perfect, room had beautiful design, bath too
the room was comically small
Great location and fun atmosphere in the hotel.
Tiny rooms (as expected) and even smaller bathrooms. Great for a night but wouldn't be able to handle the space for a longer trip.
Staff was excellent. Fun and courteous. Great location, just off 5th Ave and Wash. Sq. great bar/restaurant
Super tiny room but it's NYC so that's not unusual.
Loved the charm and atmosphere of the lobby, bar & restaurant. Such a cozy place, even when crowded with late night crowd. Rooms were quiet and comfy.
I adore this hotel. Cozy and charming. Tiny rooms but well appointed and clean. The restaurant and lounge are a great addition to the hotel.
The decor was pretty cool. The shower was great. Great lighting in the room.
The bed was not the most comfortable I've slept on...different pad or featherbed? It wasn't bad, just could be better.
Everything! Every detail of my stay was fantastic!
i wouldn't stay again only because the rooms were so small
Marlton has a bar and seating area on first floor which was very busy every night with a mix of people which added to the urban flavor. One block away from lower 5th Avenue and one block from more traditional Greenwich Village. Fabulous spot. Would stay there again in a moment!
Location was fabulous if you like the small town feels of the villages - you are also 'between' Central Park & the financial heart. The decor of the hotel is really lovely!
The room size is small - even for European standards - but we managed. The service at breakfast was slow and not very welcoming - which was a surprise. The bar / lounge is really popular with people coming to 'be seen'. This means that they buy 1 drink and stay for hours, leaving no places left for the hotel guests.
The location is excellent, and the staff warm and welcoming. The bar and restaurant are hopping places, and the complimentary continental breakfast well above average. We would happily stay again.
It is a lovely warm hotel, which fits into the Greenwich Village atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Very useful to have a fridge in the room. The location is great and right off Washington Square.
The room was advertised as petite double, but you literally couldn't swing a cat in it. There was only one shelf in the cupboard available (there was a box of goodies for purchase using the second shelf) and only bedside tables, no bedside cupboards. I had to store things in my suitcase when I wasn't in the room. A little more storage space would have made my stay a little more comfortable and perhaps the room should have been a single instead of double.
Bed was super comfy, good heating system which is not always the case in NYC, staff at reception and door men very welcoming but could do better at restaurant.
Breakfast is ok but not reaching level of other hotel services. Choice very limited - only two options - so boring when you stay for more than 2 nights and quantities very small.
Location, near my daughter's apt; surrounding neighborhood w/restaurants, stores, etc.
Small rooms - lobby compensated somewhat, but it became very crowded. Suggest expand lobby into dining area.
The rooms are small but have everything you need and the fittings are very chic. the bar downstairs has a nice fireplace and was always busy with a nice buzz. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
I thought the breakfast was very nice, convenient, and healthy. I appreciated having it before starting out for the day.
I thought the room was very small, but it did have everything we needed except a chair. It was amazing how many things were included in that small space.
The buzz! The Hotel was so charming, welcoming, and very very cool!
The rooms are tiny but beautifully decorated. The restaurant was way to hot. Every morning at breakfast it was stifling! The free continental breakfast was great though.
Improved menu. Much friendlier staff. So obliging and offered help with storing luggage etc. linens amazing. Just a cozy hip place to be. And the added breakfast is a bonus addition
Little packet of Kleenex ticket in closet. During winter need more and easier to locate. Too many students taking up seating and spending hours on computer, all for the price of a cup of tea or coffee. Difficult to find a place to rest and relax after being out mid day. For non guests time limit or cover may be solution
The rooms are beautifully designed and as the hotel says, they are small. But it makes it feel more homely. The staff were very friendly and professional and the complementary breakfast was lovely and a surprise bonus - not a common feature in NYC.
I knew the rooms were small but I was constantly tripping over my suitcase - not really anywhere to put it easily without unpacking everything which I rarely do on such a short trip.
