Staff (all were helpful, courteous and professional). Location (unbeatable for our week long visits to medical practices between 79th and 98th.) NICK'S -- outstanding Italian restaurant just across 98th. Value -- fair-good for location and a long duration stay. BALCONY. CLEANLINESS -- entire facility neat as a pin.

The 2nd Ave subway construction. The building construction on opposite side. As others have noted, carpets are quite worn/old and walls are "plain".

The Marmara had excellent facilites for a stay in NYC, due to the space in rooms for NYC standards. The studio we stayed in was warm and clean and the maid sevices were of a high standard. Anything we asked for was meet and have to mention Denis Young at reception who was so helpful and professional.

The bathroom needs to be updated. Caulk and grout are in need of repair and fixtures are old and discolored.

The convenience of a suite, kitchen, dining-room, separate bedroom

Not enough light in the hallway (10th floor) Room 10B needs a new shower head and a couple more chairs

The two-bedroom apartment was superb. Large, spacious, well-equipped, nicely furnished, comfortable. We loved being able to bring our dog and we loved the full kitchen. The staff were all great: Dennis Young the front office manager, the doormen, the housekeeper. It was a super experience and reassonably priced by NYC standards.

I wish they had coffee mugs instead of the delicate little teacups, charming as those were.

The noise from the outside road works and also the traffic light interchange. Very noisy. don't stay on 3rd or 4th floor has the noise is too awful. higher up would be much better.

The room was extremely large by UES standards. The entire staff was courteous, friendly, responsive and professional!

New subway construction outside of their building is distracting, however, it is totally out of their control.

The staff are very good and deal with any issues they need to. Rooms re very spacious.

The noise of the building works outside we had to be moved to another room to be able to get a nights sleep. The building of the subway will be for another 5 years, this would make us consider having to book another hotel that would be much quietier.We aslo felt that the price on this trip was too expensive, we would like to stay again in the Marmara but the our trips from now on will be price driven as we travel twice yearly to New York City.

Huge apartment and very well equipped.

Brightness. There were no blackouts curtains, and this is a big issue to me and my wife. Some people might like it. I don't.

We were pleasantly surprised with the accomodations ~ it was more like apartment living in NYC than the same 'ol hotel room! It was so comfortable! Super to have so much space when traveling with a teenager! The staff was so helpful with questions about getting around the area~ especially walking. I'll won't hesitate to stay there again1

I liked hot we didn't just have one room but we had a living room and a kitchen. Though the bed was not very comfortable it was too soft and gave me a back problem but staff was super nice the hotel was not a breath type of hotel it was just convenient and we liked how they did have the Turkish Channels however they need to have a humidifier in the room as it was tough to breath in there also I am allergic to pets so when I saw pets in the hotel I was disappointed.

The coackroachs in the room, noise outside

The rooms are big and have kitchen and everything. You can have breakfast or dinner here. The balcony is large and nice to enjoy the night with a nice city view. Lots of TV channels, even Turkish ones. Clean rooms with white walls and curtains makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Nice to get NY Times daily on your door.

Location is a bit far from the city centre. If you're going to use subway, you'll have to walk about 6 minutes to the hotel (6th line Station 96th). Doesn't have a restaurant. Just 2 elevators, sometimes you may have to wait a couple of minutes to get the elevator.

Wanted to visit Harlem and the Upper East Side. It is well located for this. Room was very comfortable and clean. Lots of restaurants nearby.

So much noise, at 7:00 am you cannot sleep anymore. Construction on 2nd avenue is terrible. Ask for a room higher than 12 floor and no window on 2nd avenue.

The noise. The roadworks!!!!! Do not stay here for the coming 4years. No pool. Expensive. Fitness is ridiculous
