Shower drain was clogged. No free parking. Valet parking is highway robbery at $20 then you feel you have to tip stil. My luggage is something I am quite I am quite capable of handling on my own. Parked in deck for the night. Cost $12 so I did save $8.
Staff very helpful
Room was too small
Loved the hotel. Very charming, nice and quaint. Great staff.
The drunk party people arriving back at their rooms at 3AM both nights we were there. Very loud, very drunk and inconsiderate. The location is near River St so I guess this comes w/ the territory.
Breakfast, Coffee, Staff and atnosphere.
Size of TV.
very helpful staff
overpriced for overall quality - old facility, but clean and well kept. Small rooms; cheap toilet paper
Location, helpful bell staff, historic nature of building!
Even after being asked, the check in staff did NOT inform us of: internet availability; bus. center; or our breakfast. We missed two events that we only found out about late. So we missed events and our breakfast.
Location of hotel in downtown Helpfulness of staff Pleasant parking attendants Great morning buffet lovely lobby and efficient services
Costly overnight parking Very tight rooms, no views
The staff were very friendly and the facilities were very clean and appealing. Location doesn't get much better, everything is just a short walk away.
We did not opt for one of the bigger better rooms, we reserved their smallest room. And most diffinitely was that. Just big enough for the bed. We did not spend too much time in the room during our stay except to change/get ready and sleep, but it still would have been nice to behave a little more room. Next time we stay here we will spring a larger room.
Staff, common areas, room, service
Poor wifi reception.
I only stayed at the Marshall House one night, and even then I didn't spend much time in the room as the hotel is central to so much of the great city of Savannah. The building's history is fascinating, and the fact that a lot of the original pieces from the building are still in use is amazing. By reading through the information folder in my room I learned that the floors, doors, and so much more were all original! Though I initially balked at the price of a one night stay, it is easy to understand the value when you consider the central location as well as the quality of the services and material comforts. The complimentary wine and cheese spread was enjoyable as were the complimentary bottles of water. You also cannot beat the valet parking!
Not much, if anything, to complain about!
Historic location and friendliness of front desk staff were a positive. Bell and valet services were excellent.
Quality and variety of included breakfast was substandard; especially for a facility with a southern kitchen and fine dining as part of hotel. Breakfast service was non-existent.
Lovely staff, great facilities, perfect location. Breakfast was wonderful, and the staff in the atrium were well worth a tip. So friendly! Everything was immaculately clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The front desk staff were very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour! Would definitely stay here again. Good value for money spent.
Made us feel at home. Great wine and cheese happy hour. Good breakfast. Staff was amazing especially the concierge - Jerry
Very noisy in the room above us. Neighborhood was rather vacated and in need of repair.
The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful.
location excellrent old city tourist spots in easy walk , shops & restaurants nearby.
Valet parking expensive. Don't book their petite double it is tiny not big enough for two people ( it is listed as standard double in booking.com so a shock when you checking!)
High ceilings in the quaint room with the fireplace. Breakfast and wine and cheese were wonderful. Friendly staff.
Loved the historic atmosphere Bed and linens comfortable Staff friendly Close to old town centre
Room congested - hard to move around far side of bed without running into something TV with sideways view from bed
Location directly in Old Town House with history and charme
Breakfast way too Basic for such a Location and price
Very clean and quaint!
Location was good
our room was above the breakfast area which was noisy
Lovely balcony room
Cannot find anything wrong with my stal
Close to everything. Very helpful staff.
Just about everything...The hotel is comfortable, staff is great, a shout-out to Joseph at front desk...Great southern manners exuded by staff
Great setting in excellent location ! Wonderful staff
A little noisy, ask for rooms away from the elevator and the Ice machines! ( maybe they could close these in !)
