Good location, nice rooms and the size of rooms was decent for a NYC hotel
Personally I don't get it why in the 21st century a hotel can't provide free wi-fi. Would be such a small cost to the hotel, yet such a huge thing for a tourist.
Location and friendly staff.
I wished to know the staff could make arrangements for taxi cabs to the airport. They helped me out anyway, even on short notice.
Well located property in the heart of Nomad, and a decent price for the busy September season. Room was clean, but a bit shabby. It needs a renovation.
Laundry and supplies in the hallways, door that didn't close right, very tight room and a staff that seemed not to care about their business made this a one-time stay for me. I won't go back.
Excellent location; comfortable beds; power shower; lots of storage space; free wifi.
No mirror in the bedroom; breakfast was unreliable and the 'hot water' provided for tea was always lukewarm
staff was very nice good rate considering to new york peak time
very small room
Hotel Location was cool
Could not make use of the fridge in the room. Was locked.
Not very organized. Especially if you valet park. Have to ask for a reciept for your car.
Affordable, excellent location, helpful staff, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, helpful info sheets at check in, reliable wifi
The location - it's just a few blocks away from Empire State building. For this price, it's as central as it's gets. The style of the room - all in white, black and red. The room was small (welcome to NY) but very well arranged, so it didn't feel like the walls were coming down on you.
Staff was rude, wasn't bothered to greet us or at least smile whenever we were walking by. WiFi was paid ($10 per day), which is ridiculous. Even the worst motels in the middle of nowhere have free WiFi these days. The windowns haven't been cleaned for months - they were so dirty you could hardly see the sun through them. Loads of dust under the bed. Otherwise clean (bedding was very nice and bathroom was neat and tidy). Some grout missing in between bathroom tiles, which ruins otherwise very modern and sleek interior design style.
The location is excellent, just few blocks away from the Empire State Building which we visited in the morning not waiting in a long line. Close to many cool places. We booked a double room, with 2 queen beds. However, when we showed up there around 6 pm to check-in, the room we booked was not available for some reason. We were offered to stay in a room with king size bed which we didn't accept and they managed to provide another room FREE of charge. The rooms were great and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The LCD screen and cable TV. The staff are friendly and nice. The coffee machine is awesome.
Cleanliness was poor. The sink was flooded. No tub in the bathroom. Little space, especially in the luggage room. The room needs a little fridge, more important than the minibar. The hallway to rooms too narrow. Lifts take too much time when called. The Air Condition was noisy and inefficient.
could not tell you
Our room was double booked so was sent else where - not what one needs to the start of ones holiday after a long flight!
Excellent location, clean tidy and comfortable room. Good coffee.
Bring earplugs so you can sleep through the traffic and a/c noises. Must pay extra for wifi.
This neighborhood is fantastic. Flatiron district is one block away. Empire State Building is close too. The hotel is really clean and the coffee shop which can be accessed via the lobby was one of the best coffee shops I have ever been to. Really friendly staff and great coffee.
The Mave over charged my card but I will say that when I called to tell them, they fixed the issue right away.
Found the bed very comfortable Great location
The fact you had to pay for wifi. In today's modern world, I would expect free wifi at any hotel you stay at
The service was very poor
-Some front desk staff were a bit informal, not too welcoming. - As soon as I arrived, room smelled musty and humid. So I immediately checked the AC and the AC Filter and there it was. It was filthy. So I removed the filter, cleaned it myself and the room smelled much better. - Breakfast was all gone by the time I came down (8AM).
I was given a very small room for a family of four.
Price and location
Staff weren't friendly and not too helpful. Bedsheet kept on coming off the bed.
Too expensive for no reason. The location is good but the room is very small unbearable smell bad, very bad cleaning fungi noticeable poor sleep quality.
Very good location
WIFI only available for 10 dollar per day
Old and scratched facilities
Quality of furniture mattress was amazing
Size of room and bathroom
Location excellent. The bedroom was small but we have already expected it. It was good to arrive and sleep. If you intend to buy a lot of big stuff, it's better to stay at a bigger place.
Unpleasant staff. The treatment was indifferent. Nobody helped us in anything. Neither calling a cab (they told us that was better taking a cab at street) nor helping openning the door with our luggage. Two weeks before I travel, I sent a e-mail asking some help and they took a long time to answer me and it seemed that I was disturbing them. There isn't a restroom at the hotel lobby. If you want to go, they indicate a restroom at a bar aside the hotel The hotel offered a breakfast but instead of it, they put 2 mini tables at a corner with a small bread and coffee. It was funny when I saw it.
