Score from 127 reviews Very good
Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Location was good. Everything was very clean. Good coffee for breakfast. The iron, a robe, hair dryer were all there. Thank you.
The room was very small for two people. One had to be on the bed or in the bathroom for other to be on the floor. The bed also was small with one side against the wall, so one had to clime over the other to get up (if needed). I was wondering if they gave us a room for two when it was really meat to be for one. Oh, the window looked maybe 30 inches to another wall, so we could not even see what kind of weather it was outside.
Updated style of room Price Location
The pillows were artificially hard The breakfast was really only a cup of coffee and a poor quality muffin with limited seating and no tables
New, clean, confortable, well located. Nice shower and toilet
No breakfast, room without a blackout curtain, small room
The bed was good. Overall reasonable given the fact that you are staying that close to Empire Estate building
Paying for wifi is simply not acceptable now a days.
Great location, and the staff was the friendliest and most helpful I've ever encountered.
Bed was too soft for me.
There is no free wifi service.
The staff didn't acknowledge me when I first walked in, were stuffing their face with food while checking me in, and overall just horrible. Will not go back ever!
the facilities - too small overall and no lobby
clean and convenient.
The wake up call was 15 minutes late. No desk in room.
Good location, nice rooms and the size of rooms was decent for a NYC hotel
Personally I don't get it why in the 21st century a hotel can't provide free wi-fi. Would be such a small cost to the hotel, yet such a huge thing for a tourist.
Location and friendly staff.
I wished to know the staff could make arrangements for taxi cabs to the airport. They helped me out anyway, even on short notice.
Well located property in the heart of Nomad, and a decent price for the busy September season. Room was clean, but a bit shabby. It needs a renovation.
Laundry and supplies in the hallways, door that didn't close right, very tight room and a staff that seemed not to care about their business made this a one-time stay for me. I won't go back.
Excellent location; comfortable beds; power shower; lots of storage space; free wifi.
No mirror in the bedroom; breakfast was unreliable and the 'hot water' provided for tea was always lukewarm
staff was very nice good rate considering to new york peak time
very small room
Hotel Location was cool
Could not make use of the fridge in the room. Was locked.
Well located hotel with an excellent staff. On the last day, we had an appointment in NY and have checked out a little bit later without any problem. For the time we needed, we stored our luggage in the storage room even after the check out. Great place!
Breakfast could have more varieties, because it was more like a snack.
Good location, modern room, nice fit out, good shower.
There is no lobby. The so called breakfast is a joke!
Excellent room and location. Comfortable beds and great showers. Complimentary breakfast, although a good bonus in New York, could have been organised a bit better. Knives rather than spoons to cut bagels and spread preserves would have been more helpful. However, after first day, decided to skip breakfast and head for Cafe 28 which was excellent! Apart from breakfast would definitely recommend this hotel. Pauline, New Zealand
Just breakfast as above.
too small restrooms small rooms
Not very organized. Especially if you valet park. Have to ask for a reciept for your car.
The location, bed comfort (ie, a normal softer mattrass and not a hard bedrock that some hotels call beds) good bed linens, and very clean
Room was so tiny I though of sleeping vertically.
Affordable, excellent location, helpful staff, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, helpful info sheets at check in, reliable wifi
The location - it's just a few blocks away from Empire State building. For this price, it's as central as it's gets. The style of the room - all in white, black and red. The room was small (welcome to NY) but very well arranged, so it didn't feel like the walls were coming down on you.
Staff was rude, wasn't bothered to greet us or at least smile whenever we were walking by. WiFi was paid ($10 per day), which is ridiculous. Even the worst motels in the middle of nowhere have free WiFi these days. The windowns haven't been cleaned for months - they were so dirty you could hardly see the sun through them. Loads of dust under the bed. Otherwise clean (bedding was very nice and bathroom was neat and tidy). Some grout missing in between bathroom tiles, which ruins otherwise very modern and sleek interior design style.
The location is excellent, just few blocks away from the Empire State Building which we visited in the morning not waiting in a long line. Close to many cool places. We booked a double room, with 2 queen beds. However, when we showed up there around 6 pm to check-in, the room we booked was not available for some reason. We were offered to stay in a room with king size bed which we didn't accept and they managed to provide another room FREE of charge. The rooms were great and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The LCD screen and cable TV. The staff are friendly and nice. The coffee machine is awesome.
Cleanliness was poor. The sink was flooded. No tub in the bathroom. Little space, especially in the luggage room. The room needs a little fridge, more important than the minibar. The hallway to rooms too narrow. Lifts take too much time when called. The Air Condition was noisy and inefficient.
