The beds were extremely comfortable, we slept great.
The size of the room & bathroom were very small.
Location. Bathroom. Leaving of luggage after checkout
One female receptionist was unhelpful. Small bedroom 2.2x3.2 meters approx. Bed against wall, access from one side only. TV not end of bed but on lateral wall. Wifi charge $10 per day Breakfast poor with no tabels or chairs whatsoever. Asked for late checkout but was granted only a half an hour extra. Credit card was requested as per normal, but when I asked to pay cash they said that they had allready charged my card and would do nothing about it.
location is excellent - flatiron building and Empire + a lot of shops (Macy's/Uniqlo) and Eataly! Direct access from the hotel to a very posh cafè/bar. Cleanliness of rooms.
Staff seemed actually annoyed/disturbed by the host. Cannot say breakfast included as you will have a muffin and some coffee/water even not hot. Wi-fi access not available even in common areas and in room at $9.95/24h
Staff at front desk is friendly and tries to be helpful. Same is true of Repair men when various things were not working in the room. Trying their best but operating Budget for hotel maintenance is Obviously inadequate
Room stayed in needed painting And walls were cracking. Wasn't as clean as we are used to In hotels of same price range
Not best part of town-decent value for the money-would I stay again, probably not.
The hotel was at a good location and the beds were comfortable. We got in early and were able to get an early check-in around 11am instead of 3pm, which was nice. We pretty much walked everywhere and the subway lines were close enough. There's a bar right next door and a Dunkin' Donuts across the street.
Their interest was spotty our first day so I couldn't log in at all. The elevators are kind of slow too. The shower was annoying. It's a half glass with no door so you have to be careful when you take a shower as to not splash water all over the bathroom. Also, it felt like they didn't have standard extra amenities when I asked for them, or they ran out already. Staff was cordial but could be more friendly.
location room size
elevators aren't user friendly
location pretty good
clean good size room bathroom location
noise from street was way too loud and constant throughout the day and night
Easy connections for subway & bus lines. Fresh & clean rooms & public spaces. Personable staff. In all, a good value.
Failed to get 2 of 3 requested wake-up calls. Fortunately I had my own backup, but this was a serious service failure.
the bed was very comfortable and it also had the great shower, great locstion easy to get around and friendly staff
it would be nice to have a litt more space but it was adequate
Location - walking distance to the city hub, i.e. Time Square, Madison Square Guarden, Broadway, Empire State Building, etc as well as the subway, Penn Station and Port Authority Staff at reception were very friendly and professional
Tiny rooms - Luckily I was alone because with just me and 2 suitcases, It was a tight squeeze. No Free Wi-Fi TV only plays videos; cant watch proper TV let alone cable It was too noisy - too much construction happening around
They gave us a bigger room for thanksgiving The guys at Check-In and Check-out were the one polite and friendly
The room was clean day 1and then the other days was cleaned in a really approximative way. The fridge was locked The cream for the coffee in the room was battering
The room, the bed, the shower.
Waiting for the elevators, the street noise coming through the AC.
Size of roomit was a bit small pictures on the internet does not show how small the rooms are. They also have window units
Comfy bed. Friendly and good cleaning lady.
Freezing room, the only heating from aircon unit mounted in the window, which was loud and drafty (Another visitor complained about this while I was in reception and it was just met with a shrug). The pictures are deceiving, my room was soulless and the decor was very tired, which was the same around the hotel. You got the feeling that management just didn't care about the place. No mini bar, just a disconnected fridge in a cupboard.
-no breakfast left (single muffin anyways) AND cold water for tea 3 out of 4 days and nowhere to sit for breakfast either (there are 2 chairs to sit for a whole hotel, so nothing for people who like to enjoy breakfast) -wifi is 10 USD per day -loud heating -no ventilation in bathroom
As a solo traveler I felt safe. The room is nice, big, comfortable. The breakfast includes coffee and a muffin that you can take out. The staff is nice and helpful.
The staff were courteous and moved us to a bigger room at no extra charge when we complained. The bigger room was a comfortable size, relatively stylish and had a coffee machine, safe, and a good size TV.
On arrival we found ourselves in the tiniest hotel room I've ever seen (no exaggeration). It was barely bigger than the double bed itself. The room had no facilities other than a phone and a very small TV. The bathroom door didn't close. The cost of this room was over $200 a night. Breakfast was just filter coffee and muffins.
the decorating some has an eye for details it's modern
difficult to find. staff very dismissive
Very good location in Manhattan.
The breakfast is practically non existent. The staff is not very caring. I was offered a choice between a dirty looking room without direct sunlight and a tiny room with less features than what was mentioned in the booking.
Location is ideal - easy to everywhere bathroom was nice - almost as big as my room. Bed was very comfortable
Tiny room room heat/air was inconsistent- needed to crank the heat into the 80's and then it would kick off and blow cold air - challenging. Water temps turn cold after 10am- makes for a quick - hint: shower early. Tiny elevators & hallways- taste of europe. No windows / no natural light in rooms
The location. Close to subways and food.
Breakfast was awful. Small. Understaffed.
