Nice bed, linens & towels Free Wifi VERY helpful staff DVD library Cleanliness Good breakfast
Room was small
Dana and Peter are sweethearts. Very friendly. You will want for nothing.
I couldn't stay longer.
The room, the cleanliness, the staff, the TV and in general everything!.
The bathroom was a little too small for me, but not so bad that would impact my great experience.
the location; convenience to shopping, restaurants, RMNP, etc, yet in a very peaceful spot away from the noise and traffic; wi-fi excellent; kitchen area was well stocked and cozy; maid service was prompt and never intrusive; very friendly and helpful staff
Room could be a bit larger, especially the bathroom; walls are a little thin and noise from other guests was a bit loud at times right outside the door
The view not much to see from the room
The bathroom was new, and the beds were very comfortable! Room was clean upon our arrival!
Room was very small, I mean tiny! I had to climb on the bed to adjust the thermostat, we booked a room with one queen and we're given a room with two which would have been fine if we could still walk in the room, I would have preferred the space. . Also the room wasn't cleaned and the sheets weren't changed on our second day.
My husband and I loved everything. The hotel was comfortable and clean. The location was optimal, 4 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park and only a walk away to unique shops and restaurants!
We stayed at the Maxwell Inn for four nights in the first half of October. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, and excellent value. The Inn is motel style and located on the edge of town, so parking isn't a problem. It is a very quick, easy and pleasant walk to the centre of town along a footpath beside the river. It also only takes a few minutes to drive to either of the nearby entrances to the National Park. The owners, Dana and Peter, were always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simple: coffee, a wide variety of teas/infusions, orange juice, a variety of cereals, cereal bars, muffins, white bread and raisin bread, but all we needed. The day we arrived there was a family of elk browsing on the grass next to the car park. They were still there the next morning, but that was the last we saw of them.
Nice staff, very clean and updated rooms. Good location.
I could hear the conversation and TV in the room next door--as if I were sitting in the room next door. Walls are too thin. Construction on a room started at 9:30 am and added to the "sound effects." This is most likely our first and last stay here. Hotels are supposed to provide a place to sleep. Not.
A nice little place, certainly felt like they gave as much care to the customer as they could. Free borrowing of some DVD's was amazing and I've never seen before. The location of the place was great, very close to Estes Park.
Beds were a little stiff.
The staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming!!!! The rooms were extremely nice, up to date and VERY clean! I would highly recommend the Maxwell Inn
I only wish we could have been on the Fall River.
Friendly owners and staff who went above and beyond to provide quality customer service. Including fresh flowers in our room to celebrate our anniversary. The rooms were clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. Well situated for walking into town and a short drive to RMNP.
Wish we could have stayed longer.
The owners are an energetic young couple who go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The units are updated with granite counter tops and attractive, comfortable furniture. Breakfasts are more than ample, with many choices.
On one of our three days, the cleaning person replaced a soiled washcloth we had put in the tub with the same soiled washcloth. When we returned to our room another day at 3:00, our room had not been cleaned. The owner, Dana, kindly brought more towels and apologized.
Our room was very clean and updated. Not a lot of traffic noise at this location.
Cleanliness, staff/owners, view, outdoor get together areas, ammenities, all great!
These kids does a wonderfül job. It was really clean everywhere. I'm picky. They were so friendly and made every thing to please. Great couple. So enjoyable sitting by the gas fireplace. I would really recommend it. Only sad thing don't allow dogs but I understand.
Dana was an absolute joy, knowledgeable and friendly. We highly recommend.
Easy access to national park and town. Owners even loaned me spare clothes as my airline left our luggage in the U.K.
The room and bathroom were very clean. The continental breakfast items were very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The towels were the softest and nicest we have ever had in a hotel!
The bathroom was tiny. Our room was next to the office, and because of the design of the door and window, you could hear every conversation outside the room. The shower curtain smelled.
Great hosts and so helpful in every way
The Maxwell Inn is perfect for anyone that just wants that family feel and be walking distance to town. The breakfasts were perfect before our hikes and the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Definitely the place to stay.
The feeling that you were staying with friends!
Breakfast area is very small
We liked the location.
Breakfast is only continental so listing should say so; Mountain View is stretching it as windows are small and view can be obstructed.
Very friendly staff who are more than happy to assist you. The hotel is newly remodeled and very clean. Couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay. A nice breakfast is served each morning. I highly recommend to all travelers.
The Inn was comfortable and not too big with easy on-site parking and easy access to the entrances to RMNP. Staff were cordial and easily approachable when we needed anything or just wanted to converse.
Housekeeping ranked 3 out of 5 stars because the single trash can in the room was not emptied on one day; we had to ask for toilet tissue on another occasion... otherwise the room was kept clean and user-friendly.
