Great staff and service
Tough location to find a csb
The room was very comfortable and spacious. Maid service morning and evening was very good with excellent provision of towels throughout the stay. In very cold weather the room was warm.
Free wifi in the room would have been good. We used the lobby wifi.
Fab location, great sized rooms for NYC, very clean and staff very friendly
No coffee making facilities in room
There is always problem in the flush of the bathroom
Size of room, location.
No coffee maker in suite and no view. Windows were covered and offered no internal light. (Room overlooked an internal courtyard)
Location and style of hotel
Poor bed and pillows.
I expected a small room with a bed in the middle. What we got was a lovely room with a sitting area and a very comfortable bed.
The only thing I did not like was that the continental breakfast ended too early, it was too short and the coffee was taken away too quickly.
Spacious and comfortable rooms, agreeable public spaces and good service. Besides the excellent location: walking distance do Times Square, Lincoln Center, Fifth Avenue and Central Park.
The only bad detail: the expensive room wifi.
Cesar the doorman was exceptional the staff was exceptional everything was exceptional
everything, staff espectacular
The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful -- their attitude was the best part -- especially Cesar the fabulous doorman. Loved to lobby bar after a night at the theater. Very quiet room with solid curtains and great mattress meant I got my best sleep in a very long time--in NYC no less! We rented a car for one night (to travel to an event in and) and parked overnight with the hotel due to reasonable rate for in/out privileges.
The continental breakfast is really not worth much at all -- raisin bran, corn flakes, apples, small croissants and mediocre coffee. We tried it once and went out each day after. Would be much better if they offered free wifi in the rooms
This is an elegant hotel with an old world atmosphere. The location is perfect.
Great for the older (over 40) traveler - quiet, great location, easy access to transportation. The rooms were large (by NY standards), clean and comfortable. Housekeeping and maintenance and lobby staff were very accommodating, friendly and efficient. I stayed at this hotel about 15 years ago and it has remained first class in terms of quality and comfort.
Internet access was pretty awful - more so because you had to pay for it.
There should be free wifi
Size of room, comfort of bed, friendliness of staff
Very clean and elegant.
The radiator was so loud it woke me up almost every hour when it ramped up. They kept banging on the door at 8pm if I wanted a turndown yet I was sleeping at that hour.
We enjoyed our stay at Michelangelo and we were also in the heat or shall we say the cold of the moment in New York! Between the 2 snow storms! Excellent location! Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.
The complimentary breakfast was a bit dull. What about some cheese and cold meats with the croissants? We ordered breakfast to our room one morning which was very nice.
The staff was very helpful and accomodating. We arrived early and they allowed us to check in. The location was great because we were there to see Wicked.
Lovely room and great seating areas in foyer.
No free wifi in bedroom.
Great location, great room.
Atrocious room service. Food was fine, but the service terribly slow and disorganized.
Loved the bed, amenities, location, most of the staff, the bathroom, and the quietness of the room.
$14.99 per day for Wi-Fi is utterly ridiculous. The gym equipment was only meh. And the staff concierge wasn't very helpful.
great staff great beds and spacious rooms helpful doorman great location
shouldn't have to pay for wifi. the wife site tried to overtake my 3g data all the time. air conditioning unit was a bit noisy
How nice and helpful the staff was! The location is great and very convenient to everything, made my first trip to NYC fantastic. We would stay there again!
I can't say we have anything that we didn't like! Keep up the good work!
great location Bose system in the room larger room than expected for NYC comfortable bed robe wonderful bathroom temperature controlled well great vallet and bellhop service wonderful service
Small, warm, comfortable; just like home.
