We loved staying in this hotel - were updgraded on arrival even though I had booked a double room but once the front desk staff realised I was travelling with my teenage daughter, we were given a huge corner room with 2 double (and very comfortable) beds and great views. The hotel is very conveniently placed for sightseeing/shopping etc, the lobby is luxurious, our room/bathroom was immaculate and much nicer than the photos suggest and the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend. |

Great location for theatre trip. Large rooms, and lovely lobby.The free coffee and pastries in the morning is a nice touch. Food is also good in the bar or restaurant. I also stay here for business, but there are no business services and it is pretty far from the east side of midtown. |

The attention to details was extensive which made for a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff strived for excellent customer service and the hotel has been maintained in excellent condition. We were upgraded upon arrival and all three rooms exceeded our expectations. By New York standards this hotel is a diamond in the rough. |

Hotel staff upgraded our room on arrival to a suite which was very comfortable and well appointed. Air conditioning was somewhat noisey. |

The excellence of the staff (professional but warmly human) matches the sophisticated elegance of the design and accoutrements. Noise from 7th Ave., but that's not your fault. |

This was a marvelous hotel right near all of the great Manhattan sights. The room was VERY comfortable, the staff attentive, and the design welcoming. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing was the poor internet connection -- for $9.95/day. |

The hotel had a fantastic location, just minutes away from everything. It felt very safe. The room was comfortable and well appointed with the exception of coffee making facilities. Check-in and check-out was quick and simple. |

The hotel was beautiful, private and luxurious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was upgraded for free to a one-bedroom suite which was spectacular. |
