Pretty bad location. If you use your head you will be fine. For example, if you are going to return late take a cab.
For this money what is there not to like
Clean room, free parking, shuttle into town
The hotel is from the 1950s with no renovation
I liked only booking 1 night
We were not used to an inner city environment but everything turned out OK.
The staff were very helpful in advising us about how to get around town. I liked the fact that they were restoring an older building and not just tearing it down. This hotel was very quiet and safe.
I felt as if I was staying at my low class cousins house. It needed painting it didn't feel clean the bathtub was worn through and had permanent stains. they only had one iron and ironing board for the entire facility. the ironing board didn't have a question on it and the iron has black burn marks on it. I developed a cough for my entire stay that didn't leave until I left. horrible stay.
The staff was friendly.
The rooms smelled of Cannabis, at night we had prostitutes knocking on the door, staff were very unhelpful, one told me she would call the police when I complained about the hotel
Nothing at all
Area is not great. Had to check on 4 rooms before finding a clean one that was ready. First room was not clean and ceiling was leaking.
The person who does shuttle is good. Less than taxi.
Everything.wet carpets and wall in bedroom. Cockroach crawling across the bed, staff couldn't care less. Worst hotel I've ever seen.I wouldn't even call it a hotel, not fit for purpose.
Nothing to like about this place, it was hell.
Old and run down facilities.
Cheap, not too noisy
The rooms were awful, location was sketchy, and the building needed a full renovation.
The shuttle man, Mike, was very nice and polite.
The AC did not work good. The room had no trash can or remote. The cold water in the shower did not work.
Sheets and towells were dirty and did not get changed during our stay. Neighborhood is a little rough. If you are coming back late at night, take a taxi.
Affordable, quiet, staff was informative. Bus and trolley to go downtown is only a short walk away.
This hotel definitely served its purpose! This is not a 5 star hotel so don't expect that. We came to sight see and spend majority of the time on bourbon. This place provided a place to lay our heads and get a hot shower. Staff was amazing and very helpful. Never once saw any bugs or evidence that there had been any. Guys were there working on hotel so it is definitely getting a face lift and can't wait to see when it's complete!
Really friendly staff, easy access to public transport. We stayed over Mardi Gras and it was clean and quiet
Reported ceiling leak, but nothing happened.
Not a lot
This place is not only unclean, but also feels dangerous. I felt unsafe walking around at night. The location is terrible. Nothing is nearby (really, nothing--no restaurants, stores, etc.) so you have to take the bus to get anywhere. My room's smoke alarm have been broken and ripped out of the wall. The light and fan in the bathroom were broken so I had to shower with the door open to see. Found a dead cockroach on the floor. The whole building smells constantly like marijuana.
Staff were nice, but building is a dump. Don't stay here if you can possibly avoid it.
Wifi doesn't work very well and getting towels and coffee was very difficult, however the staff was friendly and helpful in getting around town.
The location worked for us and the price was right. Staff very friendly and helpful
The ac was terrible, and leaked onto the carpet leaving 10 square feet of carpet SOAKED, toilet wouldn't flush. Light switches didn't work. And this was our second room. The first room was occupied by a sleeping gentleman on our pre-reserved arrival.
It ended without anything being stolen from my truck. We didn't use the hair covered towels because we brought our own.
Cleanliness was not there-there was a mushroom growing in the corner of our room. The neighborhood is not the safest around the motel. The staff lacked knowledge of attractions in walking distance of the motel.
There were bus stops very close to the motel to get you around town. There is also a really nice Irish bar a couple blocks away from the motel. The free parking and free coffee was awesome!
The city it was in
Roof leaked, paid for king but got stuck in twin and not reimbursed, dirty shower, cig burns in sheets was told breakfast was complimentary until after check in and then it was $6.00 a person for 2 eggs, bacon, and grits. You get what you pay for here.
Decent tv, nice staff
The property is not maintained.
The staff were most helpful
Most of time no ice or coffee
I like the price and location. The hotel is nothing special at all. Just a place to shower n sleep then go!!!!
Noise over night
