Hotel was great, meeting the guys from human nature and boyz to men was a bonus during my birthday! Could have stayed a lot longer!
Mainly the location and size of room. The beds are very comfortable.
Was given a smoking room because it was the last one with a view and it smelled really bad (and I am a smoker but didn't smoke in the room for the sake of my partner).
- Value for money - big room - clean - friendly staff
- noisy neighbours - but the walls are not too thick, so you hear everything...
Room. Valet parking. Bel porter. Location.
Long lineup at restaurants during morning.
Location, quality beds, quiet room.
Fridge unusable for own drinks and snacks as all space taken up by snacks and drinks for sale. Having to pass through the smoky casino area when going between your room and outside the hotel. An alternative smoke-free route should be offered.
Spacious rooms & great view Excellent pool area Security of pool area and at lifts at night (room keys needed) Business centre - first 10 pages printing free Friendly and helpful staff Dolphin area and secret garden
noise in room when poolside weddings and parties late at night Pool closes at 6pm aircon not very effective in room (but got used to it)
no coffee maker in the room.
location, free self parking
bed is not comfortable, room service is horrible (had to call front desk every day for someone to clean room), some staff unfriendly, cleaning ladies don't speak English
Pool area, vistas and staffing Excellent service at front desk Engaging competent service-Pantry, casino walkers, MLife, Box Office. The Beatles Shop and themes The Avis staff (especially Judy?) got us out of a bit of a jam.
The web page was not the most helpful either for identifying location of all the features or of what really to expect especially for someone who has never visited. Not clearly identifying smoking/not smoking areas
The oppulance of it all. Don't have to go anywhere, it's all there, including the fabulous Beatles , Love by Cirque DuSoleil AND Fantastic Eating.
No tea or coffee making facility in the rooms. Lack of ability to put anything into the bar fridge without disturbing anything that would result in additional charges.
the hotel was very clean staff were helpful lots of places to eat
Perfect location, comfortable rooms
Minibar was locked and we couldnt drink anything from it
The room was nice and comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location, and the price was good.
The hotel seemed kind of old. We got a room on the 3rd floor, which I guess is one of the cheaper floors. This is probably why some of the people in the other rooms were wild youngsters who were making lots of noise... Perhaps getting a more expensive room, in one of the higher floors, would have left me with better memories of the hotel. Also, the temperature in the hotel's casino was too cold for me.
The location is excellent and the beautiful landscaping is welcoming and worth mentioning, given that so many Strip hotels have built right out to the sidewalk. Some recent renovation was evident from the fact that carpeting and wall paper in the hallway on our floor was new, since our last visit. Our bathroom also had some recent minor renovation.
The dinner buffet at the Cravings remains very good. However, I object to having to pay for the inclusion of unlimited beer and wine with my meal, when I am only an occasional drinker. They did not offer the buffet dinner without beer and wine, as an option, at a lower price. Also, I miss the wonderful chocolate eclairs. The variety of flavors of ice cream has also been cut back, and instead of high quality gelato which they used to serve, their chocolate now tastes like ordinary ice cream.
Location, close to Russian Hill and Fisherman Warf. Comfortable and clean. Good breakfast
Expensive (as all San Francisco) Car park at 26$ per day Unfortunately we were not with view on Golden gate
Cleanliness, comfort and location.
Quite an expensive place to stay....eat etc. elsewhere. Canadian dollar is low...so extra pain.
Loved the location. The many restaurants on site gave us plenty to choose from. The pool area is nice and greatly landscaped.
Hotel rooms are showing their age. Had to change rooms as the bathtub had 4 rust spots. The rooms need a lifting.
View of the volcano from our room as they upgraded us to a Queen from a King at no charge! Really nice, boutique style rooms. Buzzing casino, helpful staff. Good selection of restaurants. Lovely pool area and always spare sunbeds.
Price! It's lovely but why £85-90 a night for a small, basic room? Other hotels on the Strip are as good but charge less for their basic rooms. Could do with more bars that you can just rock up to instead of posh bars you have to sit at a table in.
The best location in Las Vegas
Nothing Specific, but the competition with other hotels makes it hard to prefer The Mirage in the future
The casino and the pool bars
The cost of the rooms
the location is great, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool very nice, parking is free and the garage is big so you can always find space. The wifi was good. The hotel has many restaurants and shops.
When checking out we were told that due to a large number of people checking out that day, it is better to not queue at the reception and instead just use the self-check out service. We did that, but when we saw the bill, we saw that we were charged for the mini bar, which we never used (they have a nice way of calling it, "refreshment centre") so we had to go wait in line just the same. the lady at the desk was very friendly though and gave us no grief, took it off immediately (which is on the other hand a bit worrying, I mean, she wasn't even surprised that we had stuff we didn't use on the bill), but we saw many other guests had the same problem. Not cool.
Position Volcano Friendly staff
No breakfast included No coffee or tea in rooms
The location is good. But this is not the top hotel it once was.
Very noisy rooms. The door to the corridor seems to be of cardboard paper and many guests and the cleaning staff love to scream. Internet access in the rooms is very problematic. The IT staff did not fix this problems although they said the would. No privacy at the pool. No pick up of used cups and glasses. Will not use this hotel anymore.
The facilities were really good. There are many options for restaurants and the casino is one of the best in Las Vegas.
You expect something else for the money spent... The price is just for the room... the same privileges than people that are not guests of the hotel. Visit the Mirage is a good option... but maybe not for sleeping.
