Old rooms; crown moulding installed upside down, 1/8" gaps in joints, 2 different sizes butted up to each other...a real joke. Bathroom window broken
Used a towel to dry up water on the floor it turned black
Nice place, very friendly staff.
$7.00 fee to park on top of a $229.00 room. Where to park a bit of a pain but the staff was very accommodating. We arrived at12: 00 knowing our room wouldn't be ready but my wife needed to use the restroom. The sign at the office door said " no public restroom" and they made no accommodations for her. We had to walk into the historic area to find one. I feel somewhat guilty for writing this as I'm not one to complain.
Close to Old town and food .
Small room, Loud A/C unit.
Location was excellent Bed was very comfortable
Room was very Tiny, bathroom also Carpet was filthy, New Carpet needed Too Pricey for what you get
Location couldn't be better for enjoying old St Augustine.
Room small and parking a concern.
The location could not be better.
The rooms reek with some sweet fragrance they must dump by the gallon. Our room was never made during our two day stay. The "kitchen area" is a small coffee maker that has never been cleaned. Watch out ofr strange fees, $7 for SELF PARKING?
Decent rate for great location. Our room had a great view of the bay.
Parking was too cramped to get out once parked. Pillows were too small. There was a lot of late night drunken noise.
Charge of $7/day for parking was a surprise at checkout.
As we were only in town for a couple of days, having a trolly stop right outside the hotel was amazingly helpful. The beds and pillows were great!
Our room was a little "tired" looking. However, all the important facilities (bed, shower, refrigerator etc) were in working order/very well maintained.
Room was nice, except for the size of the bathroom. The location is great... Also we were able to leave our car there the next day to sightsee...
Noise all night from drunk guest who partied well into the morning... Singing, fighting and carrying on like it was a frat house, except they were older people... College kids probably would have been more considerate.... I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you don't mind sleeping all night.
Very close to everything, the Fort, the marina and St.George Street shops.
Location was good
Our room had a water leak. The floor was soaked next to the bathroom. We told the font desk and they asked if we needed more towels...... Would not stay here!!
The location of the hotel was the only thing that Best Western had going for it. It was located right in the heart of St Augustine. You could walk to several shops and restaurants.
The first smell that I noticed when I walked in was the cleaner. This did not bother me at first because I thought "They cleaned the room well". Then I noticed that the smell was overwhelming. It appeared that they poured the cleaner on the floor to make it smelled like it was clean. The shower was not cleaned and once I struggled through taking a shower I got out on the laminate flooring. This flooring looked somewhat clean so I though I was safe to walk barefoot to get my clothes. Nope I was wrong! I went back into the bathroom and stepped onto the towell mat they provide you with and left black feet prints on the mat. So I thought "maybe I just did not scrub my feet" lol. I took a wash cloth that they provided as well and wet it a little and ran it across the floor. It turned the entire side of the wash cloth black because the floor was so dirty. I do not like to write bad reviews because everyone has an off day but this was disgusting. We went down with a few couples for a business meeting/ leisure trip. Another party in our group had a massive leak in their ceiling. It soaked the carpet that they had in their room. When they went to the front desk they were asked it they needed more towels to clean up the water. I really hope the hotel owner or management reviews the staff at this location. This was a great location but horribly managed.
Location, It was clean and modern rooms.
Telephone broken. Sink leaking.
Location, room, view
slow tub drain
loved the location.
Half the room was carpeted and the other half tiled. The only chair to sit in was one desk chair.
Great location and a patio outside from where you can see the Bridge of Lions. Amazing, especially in the evening.
The room was nice- beds very comfortable. The grounds were nice and the view and location could not be beat. wonderful stay. Liked it so much we came back to it a few days later after going to Savanna.
Dirty linen, dated and cramped rooms.
So clear and beautiful, i liked so much the bed.
The location. Convenient to all shops and restaurants. Bayside patio was lovely for early evening breezes.
Room size small. TV screen small and not properly set up.
Location view pool parking solid value clean comfy excellent all all around don't hesitate BOOK IT
Nothing it was outstanding
Great location Courteous Staff Comfortable bed Affordable price
This was my second time staying at the Bayfront Inn. The first time I was upstairs toward the back and it was great. This time I was assigned a room adjacent to the office by the pool and the room smelled like old grease and food. I complained and was assigned another room in the same building which was about the same but I didn"t complain as I was only there for 1 nite. I think that the rooms on that side next to the Harbour Cafe probably all smell that way way because of the location (backing up to the cafe) which btw is a great place to eat b'fast, def a not a good smell when you walk into your hotel room.
