Furnishings Roof top bar
The Eclipse wasn't what we were looking for. Next time we will eat offsite.
The experience was fabulous! The mood was exciting, happening, hip. The staff, decor and feel was electric and the food was exceptional at the Eclipse Restaurant. Our 9 year old son loved the view from the rooftop as did we. It was fun to be part of the loop scene.
Everything was high quality! Room decor, comfy bed, nice bathroom with beautiful amenities, good restaurant...
Proximity to the Pageant Theater is perfect!
Very convenient to catch a show next door at the pageant. Nothing to complain about, nice botique hotel, great staff, nice bar. It is pricey, but convenience is great.
The hotel staff, bath facilities, especially shower, comfort of bed, security, amenities everything from iPod dock & high quality radio to bathroom products.
Coffee maker was hard to fill w/o spilling water & make only one cup at a time. The coffee wa good however.
Very friendly staff. Nice roofetop bar.
It was close to the Pageant Theater, restaurants, bars, and shops. The hotel was secure and trendy and very clean. We didn't have to worry about parking. It was a very relaxing atmosphere.
There wasn't anything to not like.
The rooms were great and the staff were really helpful
Thought the street was over rated Needs more speciality shops Eg designer clothes -to keep the patrons in the area
my new room 628 can look out over the street
Great place to stay!!! I love the modern decor. The hotel is very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooftop bar was so fun! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're coming to St. Louis!
Honestly, the hotel was just average but the pricetag high. We stayed in Springfield, IL the night prior and paid half the price for twice the hotel. I know locations count, but I do not see where value was. Decor very cute.
Bathroom very poorly lit. Air conditioner sounded like someone breathing heavy. Always seemed to be a housekeeping cart and/or dishes in hall from room service when we came and went from our room.
Location, character, rainfall shower, comfortable bed
A little bit pricey, but all in all a good value
I loved the warm welcome, and extra well thought out extras in the room. We had two rooms for three nights and were very impressed with the service and spacious suites. Great location.
We had a great dinner at the eclipse restaurant before going to the rooftop bar to watch fireworks on July Fourth - spectacular!! We live in St Louis and love being at the moonrise hotel!
The room rates were nearly doubled for the holiday but we felt it was worth it for one night of great fun!
Loved the decor and nontraditional feel. Rooms were impeccably appointed and staff was terrific. The lighting was quirky and elegant at the same time. Terrific location near wonderful restaurants and walking distance to Wash U.
Charm, friendly town, rural character
Rooms are clean, large bathrooms, excellent location, good free wifi
Noisy, thin walls.... If quietness is important to you, I would suggest requesting a room either on or below the 6th floor. There is a rooftop bar on the 8th floor that can be noisy.
Loved the room, bed and shower
Love the rooftop!!!
It's a bit pricey.
A fun happy staff!
Location, Eclipse, friendly and accomodating staff
Our Premier Suite was gorgeous, Beautiful Deco furnishings and movie posters throughout.
There is no light for reading or working in the suite except for bedside lamps. The dining area chairs are painfully uncomfortable. The only usable seating is the loveseat and chaise. The only spot for reading is on the chaise and that's really enough light. The WiFi signal is weak, weak, weak and their system logs you on to their site every time you turn your device on even though you have already logged in and provided the necessary credentials. It also does this if you change browsers or close and reopen a browser. The staff is cool, close to rude and unknowledgeable about their neighborhood. The business center has two computers and one was not working for our two day stay. All this for $250 plus per day. Except for the Deco decor, we absolutely do not recommend this property.
