Perfect location for everything we wanted to do. Nish at reception was the most helpful person we have ever encountered in a hotel. Friendly, informative and came up with some good options for us.
The Mosser is located at the corner of 4th and Market st. Just across the street of the Marriott Hotel and one block away from Moscone Center. The rooms are very cosy, well decorated, not too big but enough room to move around. Very silent. They serve coffee, milk and muffins as much as you want as breakfast so is good enough. The location is the high point. Close to everything. Very easy to move around to do tourism, shopping or business.
Amazing area of the center, nice little muffins
rooms are too hot, unconfortable and above all small, comparing to the high price they ask!
Loved the prices, and the location. The staff was very helpful, and the accommodations are very clean.
The rooms are tiny! But, given the price and location, our stay was worth it. Also, the on-demand movie system was broken, so we had to suffer with regular tv.
Close to convention centre
Noisy at nite
The Mosser is a very comfrotable hotel on the edge of San Francisco's financial, shopping and theater districts. You can easily walk from the Mosser to cable cars, the art museum, Metreon, Union Square, and lots of good restaurants. It was hip enough without being pretentious or outlandishly expensive. Loved it!
The price was reasonable for a location right in the heart of San Francisco.
The room was small (just enough room for the bed), but what would you expect for this price in this location?
Great location. No need to be afraid of the shared bathroom, it's really clean.
Could have larger variety at breakfast
Excellent staff, good value. Met or exceeded expectations at this price level.
Very clean hotel, staff is helpful and friendly. Location is perfect for walking and sight seeing. Complimentary coffee, tea and muffins in the morning.
Loved this hotel. At first was skeptical about the shared bathroom situation but they are very clean not an issue at all. The room was perfect for us. I would definitely recommend it and stay here in the future
price and convenience
shared bathroom down the hall, but this actually worked out ok
The room was very clean. The staff are very friendly and it's located in a prime location that makes getting there very easy. Be mindful that prices vary based on whether you want to share a bathroom in the hall or have your own in the room.
I don't like that the "queen" bed is actually a full size bed. The full is basically a twin. There also wasn't any air conditioning in my room so I recommend to not go in the summer.
The Mosser did a really great job of getting everything you need in a small space the only thing missing in the room that would have made our stay near perfect would be to put mini bar fridges in the rooms.
The elevator was slow and was offten used by the staff so you couldn't get in (due to cleaning trolleys). Came be noisy on a Saturday night.
Superb location - particularly if you're using the BART ( very handy for airport access etc. )
Room clean and comfy but TINY
great location and excellant staff
The location was excellent to the Moscone Convention Center, and the main downtown shopping area. The room was clean, the staff was helpful, even free wine on Friday night. Coffee and mini muffins were the breakfast offering. WiFi worked well, lots of outlets in the room.
I didn't mind the noise, but if you are a light sleeper ask for a room away from the street. Ear plugs were supplied.
Beautiful old brick hotel.
No air. Strange window in the bathroom shower that opened to a space between rooms. If someone had their window open you could see right into their room. People had thrown cigarette butts and garbage into this space.
The hotel is located off of Market Street so you're within walking distance to the main tourist strip. If you enjoy shopping, this is definitely the place for you. So location is a plus. Surprisingly the shared bathroom wasn't a big problem at all. I didn't have to wait to use the bathroom and the shower nor did I run into anyone using it. If you have ever lived in a dorm in the US, it's kinda like that...but much cleaner and quieter.
My room was a bit hot since there are no AC in SF and it was facing another building. So the air circulation was low. Whenever I step outside into the hallway, I can definitely feel the temperature difference. So be sure when you book, asked for a room with the window out into the street.
The location was great for shopping and close to transport.
Was a lot of noise till late into the night (cars honking their horns, people shouting)
location, internet was working good, staff friendly and helpful.
room too small for the price, no air conditioning and opening the window was too noisy. Parking too expensive. No proper breakfast available and should be available considering the price.
Interior of the rooms (surprisingly modern); location; cleanliness of room, shared shower and toilet; unexpected coffee and muffins in the morning
Room was very small, which was completely fine for a short stay , but for longer it would be a bit annoying.
Good accessories in the room.Comfortable bed.
The room was very small. We were staying on the top floor which was ok except for only having one elevator which meant that it could be quite a wait sometimes.
The location and friendliness of staff. Great value
No aircon but for the price expected....ceiling fans are in place but just shifts the warm air about
