Wine Down Friday! Close to busses, shopping, & dinning! Staff knew the area well, they were very friendly, helpful & informative!
The location and modern look of the rooms.
The bathroom was very small and we missed an elaborate breakfast. Later we noticed that hotels in the States generally do not have breakfast. So the muffins at the Mosser, which tasted very good, were a good service.
I loved the location of the Mosser, so close to everything, easy to get everything done while there. Great welcome, I was at the hotel way before checkin times and they already had my room ready and some fresh coffee and muffins at the reception
Only downside was that the bathroom was a little on the small side
I loved the location since it was literally right next to the mall.
I hated the fact that you had to walk down the hall to use the bathroom or take a shower. The bathroom with the toilet was too small!
location staff bed very comfy
it was very noisy as our room looked out to the delivery area of the major shopping centre next doors - so deliveries and beeping lorries all night - but earplugs were provided in rooms at least.
slight smell in the room. noise from busy street outside and construction work.
Location is very good - right in the city centre, just 5 min from Unioon Square with easy access to Metro & BART and other transportatin options on Market St Wifi was good.
Hotel is Rather old and worn out. Room was tiny - just a bed and a sink, like a prison cell. It was very warm inside and smelled bad - becauyse of the old building. Had to keep the window open.
The hotel had so much more character than most around it, it was extremely well put together and the small room was the perfect size for two, we were looking forward to coming back to our beautiful cozy room the whole trip, I can't wait to stay here again.
Street noise is a bit annoying, but I thought everything else about the place made it worth it.
good location, easy to find it,just at the 4th street.
share the bathroom, the room is small, and the price is high.
Great location to the Moscone Center.
The miniature sinks were VERY uncomfortable to use, and I'm a small person. I kept hitting my head on the shelf to the mirror when washing my face or brushing my teeth. Very annoying.
The room was clean and cozy. Very easy to walk to a whole lot of shopping stores. Apple Store, Target, Nordstrom, GameStop, Diesel, etc. 5 mins walk Union Square is also another shopping spot.
The room was on a small size, small bed, difficult to open up our large luggages. No breakfast but has a small morning coffee/tea + muffin near the front desk.
Cleanliness, the room is little, but even for two it's good. The coffee and the muffins in the lobby. Security present at night. Iron and iron table in the room.
The organization of the check in. Terrible. The front desk people are nice but should improve their work. Upside it's ok.
My fiance and I fell in love with the hotel on 4th st. The room wasn't huge but big enough for the two of us. The room was beautifully furnished with attention to detail and an appreciation for European style. The hotel provided free WiFi and coffee and muffins in the morning. We would move in forever if we could but since we can't rent it forever, we will at least come back here for our next SF stay.
We could of course hear the noise from the street (there is construction going on) but it didn't really affect our sleeping quality since it wasn't that loud and we got used to it after the first night. Parking is of course always an issue in SF and the hotel doesn't provide it but there is the Sutter & Stockton garage nearby that is very cheap- especially overnight.
Convenient location close to convention center, fantastic friendly staff, so many things to do/ eat/ shop within easy walking distance.
Rooms were a bit tiny, but that didn't really effect me too much.
I took a bath with an ex to see if anything was there.
Location is key for us and the Mosser certainly has it! Don't be put off by the lack of dining facilities as next door is a great bar & restaurant (same management) & there are good choices for breakfast nearby.
The location was great: shops and facilities nearby, very easy access to mass transit (metro line, street car, buses), it was right in the heart of downtown SF. Very close to Chinatown, the waterfront, etc.
The room I rent for myself was really smaller than I had expected. Parking was a real issue: when my friends and I drove from L.A. and had to find a parking lot, it took us an hour!
Obliviously the location. Even though in the SOMA. You are 1 block from union square and market at. and by cable car to other parts of SF. Chinatown is a short walk and AT&T park is a nice even for a nite game. And Annabella's is great next door. Cost is rooms though small (think Paris) this a boutique hotel. This is probably my 10-12th time staying here. And I'd would stay again. Recommended it to many friends and family.
very clean and architecture was very interesting. Free coffee and muffins were plus. Shared bathrooms/showers were close to the room, so no issues. There was a sink in the room.
Room was a bit small.
the room is too small
It is very centrally located, MUNI station is nearby, most of the areas are at a walking distance. Coffee and muffins in the morning are really nice.
Size of the room is really small and the bed is even smaller. No Parking available nearby, and the Valet parking costs around 45$ per night.
Room size while small was adequate however the position and size of the bathroom sink is a result of poor planning. Brushing teeth, washing face etc is almost impossible
Daily breakfast snack with coffee and muffins. Clean and modern decor. Great location. Great value for money.
Rooms were tiny. Walls were paper thin. Often awoken by sounds from neighboring rooms or across the hall. Our room was located across from the Bloomingdales loading dock. Noises from trucks backing up in the night and early morning hours.
Bathroom in room
Room was crammed The closet door couldnt open all the way it open about half and banged into the bed Annoying people knocking on door or constantly calling about room service - they came in the room when i wasnt there. I know this because the trash can was missing from the bathroom when i returned
Excellent location, only one block from BART and tram stations. Smallish room but comfy.
