The room, breakfast and afternoon treats!
The Napa Inn is located on a really quiet street, within easy walking distance of the centre of Napa. The girl who greeted us was really friendly and welcoming, whilst our room was ideal for our over-night stay. Inside and out, the Inn was charming, with some beautiful, striking features. Breakfast was great, whilst the staff again made you feel right at home.
The very helpful owner who checked us in, the amazingly cute room with private garden, the superb cooked breakfast (included in the price).
Not a thing - keep up the good work!
Breakfast tips Maps and advice Re Napa
Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean with all the necessary amenities (soap, shampoo, lotions, and candles!) Each room seems private enough so you don't hear anyone else talking, snoring, TV, or anything. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Complimentary offerings of cookies and coffee/tea/soda's 24/7 along with early evening - late afternoon snack/tea with port wine is extra nice, and delicious. Each guest is treated as a very special guest!
The only thing I didn't like was the 2 gentlemen talking pretty loudly (it was just their own conversation) on the porch outside our room, (Lady Helen's Room) but that's not really a criticism of the place, just good to know there's a porch where others can sit and chat that is right outside that room. Wish the location was a wee bit closer to downtown. But it's a nice walk there, just too long of a walk back late in the evening.
House was lovely. Staff does a great job.
Lack of gardens in back of home. It was all concrete parking lot. Love to stay in bed and breakfasts where care has been taken to provide a neautiful garden in back of lovely old homes. I would probably not stay there again for tjat reason.
Very relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff. Away from the downtown area.
People were great breakfast was good, they put out a nice snack and left wine and cookies out all night. location was good about 15 miles from the wine strip. Building nicely kept.
Bed was not good, furniture in room was not usable, and air conditioning system was just not good. I left there with a sore throat because we had cold air blowing on us all night.
Location was great, very comfortable beds and great breakfast.
Wish the windows would have opened, fresh air vs air conditioning would have been a nice feature, but would not prevent a return.
Nice B&B, top staff, beautiful house, perfect location (downtown Napa in walking distance).
The breakfast was delicious, the location was convenient and the house was gorgeous!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Home was well maintained. Brkfst was very good.We would certainly stay here again.
The love seat and chair in the room were in bad need of replacement, cushions and support were non existent.Wi-Fi was slow to respond.
Breakfast, cheese and dessert plates all day, Jacuzzi bath tub, beautiful room, great staff
Bed was a little big for the room
convenient for the town centre
rooms in an other building
They made delicious cookies and they were very welcoming. Their downstairs room with fireplace was charming.
Total experience was very good.
Can't complain. More room would have helped but we weren't paying $300/night
Delightful old fashioned time warp b&b but very comfortable and friendly Would recommend Would stay again
We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was simply fabulous ! The staff so accommodating too. We will certainly return.
It was comfortable and well located.
Was a little too business like, we arrived and the first thing they asked was for payment. Also we had a more expensive room than the people we were travelling with but the only difference was our bathroom was upgraded i thought at least we would have a bigger room,
The place was clean and there definitly was a charm to the house. Staff was friendly, helpfull and the breakfast was excellent!
We booked this B&B based upon the many positive reviews it received. I am not sure how these are generated or if these people have been to other B&B's but this one clearly didn't measure up to it's hype. Yes, the staff was great and it was clean, but for the price I paid we expected a lot more comfort, location and better facilities. Also, I booked the room through booking.com and requested a specific room (read: updated Ms Tessa Room), which was changed upon arrival (even though we showed a confirmation) to a lot "lesser" room (read: older). The mirror in the bathroom was 2 feet to the left of the sink (makes it hard to shave), there were no outlets in the bathroom (hairdryer for girlfriend) and only 1 (usable) in room, the blinds (roll-downs) didn't work and the (constant on) light in the hallway lit up our whole room during the night because of the 3 inch gap at the bottom of the door... Again, might sound like nit-picking but when I pay over $200 a night for a B&B, I expected a little more and at least to sleep in the room I initially picked/booked.
Outstanding stay - great staff!
