Score from 133 reviews Very good
right at the lakefront, very nice view at sunrise. The pool is very nice and clean too.
was not very clean, there was dust at the couch and in corners.
Location was first rate. Close to beach, boats and bars. Every room has a great view and is close to the action. Staff was very helpful and professional. Rented a great ski boat and got good advice from staff on how to enjoy the lake. Definitely a fun weekend.
The dated, small room would have been ok if it was cleaner. I needs new carpeting or at least a vacuum cleaner run through it, and the bathroom floor looks like it hadn't been cleaned before our stay.
Some staff were nice
Little to no wifi Dog hairs all over the furniture Balcony dirty with old broken furniture Dirty telephone Stained carpet They describe the room as luxury, far from it. False adv in the internet site Property ran down, needs a face lift Full of drunk guests Wall and ceiling too thin allowing the noise to come through. Slow check in process
The kids loved the pool...
The pool is lovely, the staff are super accommodating, friendly and attentive. Views of the city and lake are amazing. If you like golf, the course is right there.
room cleanliness - as others have noted. The toilette had dried urine under the lid and the room wasn't vacuumed. We found an empty bottle next to the second bed. The beds were made without blankets. The carpet was covered in water stains and this was in a renovated room. Clearly, they need to replace their housekeeping manager.
Love the lake & pool facilties. The view from room was beautiful. The pool was amazing. And location to town facilities was great.
When booking the room online it was listed as a beachfront bungalow. So was surprised & disappointed that it was hotel room on the second floor, not what I would say beachfront, we had no beach out of our door. We made the best of room. DEFINITION of 'Bungalow' A one-story house, cottage or cabin. Bungalows are generally small in terms of square footage.
The Restaurant and Pool Bar had great food and drinks. The wait staff did an excellent job.
Pool was nice, just a bit dirty around it. Room was average, older furniture.
We stayed several places and nautical was the best. The pool is to die for and beach is best location. Nice stay. Rooms could use a little polishing up . And just don't stay on old side! We requested to move because it was filthy. New side is great.
Old side that hasn't been remodeled!
The place has a great location and the walls are very thick. Not noisey in the room at all. The pool looked great, the swim up bar, also. If your looks for booty calls or a night of lucky chance, this is your place! The beach looked nice, too.
This is an older property and the rooms are nothing special. Looks 1990ish. They offer some perks that really are hard to use on an overnight stay. In fact, they are pretty useless on an overnight. It was not a very good value for your dollar. The reception staff was not to intelligent, up on current activities, nor pleasant either.
Location was on the lake. Short drive from Las Vegas.
Naked people in rooms with doors wide open. No designated swimming area for small kids. The starbucks on site doesn't know how to make a chai tea latte. Can't get into pool once afternoon rolls around d/t college kids and alcohol. Can't get into lake because all the boats pull right up to shore even though there are docks.
The location of the hotel is perfect for boaters and to enjoy the lake waters. The pool is is nice and the poolside bar is great.
The rooms are run down and need updating from new carpets ( the room we stayed in had several areas 5-7 inches of carpet missing) The furniture is old and the beds need updating. If you are planning on using the internet, don't count on having Wi-Fi, the wi-fi service is extemly slow and that is only when it's working. It was down over 90% of the time.
The pool is the biggest attraction. The location and beach access to the lake is great as well.
The rooms are in need of updating and repair, furniture and beds are old as well Don't go there expecting to be able to access the internet using the hotel Wi-fi as it is unreliable and terribly slow when working, and we found it to work less than 20% of the time.
Pool and pool bar, restaurant turtle grill was good.
The bedroom has seen better days, the fridge looks broke , the air conditioned broke down and it was very warm. Bathroom old and not so clean. The towels for the swimming pool had several stains s where yellow instead of white and I had to sign that would pay 25 dollars for such small dirty towels.
The location was incredible. You can park your boat in front of the resort.
The staff were rude sometimes. The pool was close.
Location Good sized room with kitchenette Boat rental nearby WiFi
Very busy pool with people standing around drinking in the pool Only one restaurant choice on site Could do with a little shop selling basics (bread, milk, tea/coffee etc.)
Checking out and driving away
The reception staff were rude and unhelpful, The room was dirty and did not have any wifi ( despite what is advertised). After eating at the restaurant we all had food poisoning
Carpets a little more clean
Location is great
Hotel is run down, feels like a cheap motel (I paid $250 / night) Sheets, towels and bed spreads were old. When I let the staff know that both my light bulbs were out in the room, she said she is sorry and that I can make a comment when I check out (did not offer to replace bulbs - I had to push her get bulbs). The place booked because of location, so they don't really care.
When we checked in the room they gave us was not even cleaned. They did change our room promptly but seems to be a lack in housekeeping services.
It was a very hot day; the infinity pool was divine. Our room was really old, but beachy and adequate.
When reserving, we were promised beach front; however, our beach had so many boats moored, there was no swimming allowed. When I inquired, they told me there was swim-able beachfront elsewhere for a lot more money: False Advertising! Food (two dinners) from the restaurant was AWFUL and very expensive. Only food available should have been good and reasonably priced for a family resort. There were lots of children in the pool, and young adults cussing loudly and practically having sex in the pool - there should be some kind of monitoring of inappropriate behavior with so many children around. This place was way TOO expensive for what it had to offer. Except for the pool, it's kind of tacky.
The property has great location on the lake.
Property is poorly maintained. Older rooms are really filthy. We disliked it so much that we asked to be moved to another room. The staff gave us another room which was much nicer and cleaner. The problem with this property is the clientele. Lots of parties going on late into night, lots and lots of drinking... Just not a place for family vacation.
I loved walking out of my door right to the beach.
The bathroom was a little on the small side and the shower was not cleaned during our stay.
The pool, bay, and outdoor features were pretty nice. The check-in staff were great.
Our room was not clean; broken peanuts on floor along bed, cobwebs in the ceiling corners complete with spiders, bathroom floor was not washed, airconditioner unit wrapped in duct tape to hold together. The balcony was even more dirty. That was the condition of one of three rooms. The other two suite rooms had cob webs, spiders and crickets. The walkway to rooms were coated in thick, fuzzy dirt - it looked like years of careless cleaning. We shortened our stay from two nights to one.
loved the water park for the kids it was free for the first hour but no one told us till we asked on the 2nd day.the location excellent. the staff at the Turttle Beach very nice.
the front desk staff very short with everyone. did not make me feel welcomed and that is the first person we see should be the best at customer services. did not tell us about anything just where to get to our room.
The hotel has a beautiful view and the kids are able to play on the beach.
The room was not very clean and the sofa sleeper and desk chair were both broken. I was also expecting as beach level room but since I booked through booking.com I got an upper level room (no elevators). Over all staff and room just fell short.
