Location is good.
Traffic is horiffic,
Good location. Fancy room. Accommodating reception in terms of getting me my room early.
The bell boys taking care of the luggages need to be a little less rude. Despite being slow and grumpy, they expected a good tip from their guests. I did not enjoy being reminded to wait and be patient, while other privileged guests were being given preferrential treatment in terms of having their requests being entertained first.
The staff is atrocious--they must hire straight outside prison
that a rollaway bed was not available for a standard room as ALL websites said it was. One member of our party had to rent a room at a considerable additional expense. This should be rectified so people can plan accordingly. I'm not sure we would have stayed if we new it was going to cost an additional $350.
Location gives the traveler access to plays, museums and fine food in a most exciting city.
Our room was ok, but average hotel accommodation overall
The Comfort Of The Bed Very Clean Room cleaned Daily to Excellent Standard Very Friendly Staff Gift for Wifes Birthday much appreciated
On Arrival Late afternoon - 1730 No assistance was offered to carry suitcases from Taxi into hotel / Room Poor reflection at the very start of the Holiday
Overall a great experience,Location and friendly staff a great asset.
At that price wifi should be free
The,staff were excellent both in the reception and shula restaurant. Great lication
Nice hotel overall. Rooms were larger than I expected, compared to others that I have stayed at in NYC. Very comfortable beds and shower. Clean.
Bathroom counter space is limited. Bartender at bar could smile a bit.
The location was fabulous. We were right at Time Square but we were down the street a little so we didn't have to deal with the noise and congestion. The hotel was super clean and staff was very friendly.
The bed at a Westin hotel is always the best part. If you are going for business its great as it really allows you to relax. The gim facilities are also very good.
The service is absolutely terrible. In fact, I would not stay there again due to the service. I'd rather chose another hotel where I feel I am greeted and treated properly. They bark at people as if they are the guests and we are the employees. Its absolutely outrageous. I live in Asia and I am used to Asian service, I cant travel to a hotel in the US, pay 400 USD for one night and be treated like that. I will never stay there again. By the way, left my charger and adapter at my room, and of course, they never found it again.
Great location and great comfort! Stayed in a newly remodeled room...beautiful!
Had to pay for internet connection.
The hotel is in a great location but is just enough off the beaten track to keep the noise down.
The service here is hit and miss. One concierge was excellent and couldn't have been more helpful but his female colleague on duty the next day was both aggressive and rude. She kept cutting my questions off mid sentence and therefore I didn't receive a satisfactory answer to anything. Housekeeping was also very hit and miss with the cleaning and what amenities were left each day.
Liked everything! The staff was wonderful.
This was our first overnight visit to NYC. The occasion was my daughters 16th birthday. I asked for a room to Dazzle her, they did not disappoint. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. They even sent her a birthday card and complimentary chocolate covered strawberries. She said "I feel like a princess" Thank you NYC Westin!!!
Clean rooms and very friendly staff. Great location and easy to find everything.
Would have liked to see lobby a little more updated and perhaps livelier in the evenings. Coffee shop would be nice
The location was excellent. Room cleanliness was very good The bed was very comfortable.
Expensive to eat in the hotel
Stayed in New York before but this hotel was in a far better location. Check in was quick and easy, room on 14th floor was very good. Allowed a late check out but had to pay $159 + tax. Free WiFi in the room
Dirty mark on wall and a slice of pizza was down the back of dressing table which could be seen but not cleaned or moved by the cleaners during our stay
2 wash clothes were given???? little stingy with the linens ands her refrig had some ones food from before left in it
Convenient location. First time visitors to NYC. The Westin in DC the week before was superior. Didn't appreciate the automatic charge for wireless since I had my own 4G secured hotspot. They grudgingly removed the charges.
The attempted wireless charge.
Location is great. Concierge great - put in loads of effort in booking games and shows.
Breakfast area too small and serviced. If you don't have the Continental breakfast then it is very expensive. (Continental is a very decent breakfast). Having to wait 10 to 20 minutes each morning for seats in the breakfast room. WIFI is $14 a day - what planet are they on?
We loved our stay at the Westin. Our corner delux room was fantastic! Views were breathtaking. The resturant was splendid and the service was excellent..
Not one thing:)
Hotel is clean and comfortable Good location, one block from the heart of Times Square
Poor customer service. Didn't feel welcome to the hotel, staff wasn't friendly at all. We had a free room upgrade with the package but was told no possibility to upgrade our room...if it is not possible, why was it offer in the first place? No free wifi in room (free in lobby)
Lack of cleanliness
