The hotel is located on walking distance of Broadway, close to the Empire State Building. Our stay was fantastic. All the products in the minibar are very expensive and over the date! |

The staff were fantastic - very friendly and helpful. Great location for NYC too if you want to be a little different than the usual Times Square area. The hotel was being renovated so there was no bar or restaurant. Also, the reception was moved from the lobby to the 3rd floor while the lobby was "roped off" in places. This wouldn't have been bad except for the fact that I was not informed of this work before I booked. I could have been warned of this while booking on-line. |

Location near Grand Central Station and Times Square was great. Room was comfortable and quiet. Was not told when booking that the restaurant and bar would be closed for renovations. |

Really nice and luxurious hotel. The staff was very courteous and the cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for renovations at the moment of our stay. But I guess it's for the best! |

That quite a few sight seeing attractions were within walking distance. Considering my budget, especially a weak rand vs the dollar, there were too many different bell boys, and they want a too much money. |

location was great, rooms were comfortable and clean. Batrooms were clean and reasonable fittings. Staff attitude specially of the doormen and bell desk was rude and unfriendly. |

I loved the value, the huge room (by NYC standards), the location, and that there was no problem getting into the room at 10:00 a.m.! |

Very pleasant stay...excellent value for money and great location! The hotel restaurant and bar were closed during my stay for renovation which I was not aware of at time of booking, however this was only a minor drawback |

Good location, plenty of local options for dining. 5 minute walk to Grand Central. During our stay both the dining room and the bar were closed for renovations, that said it was not an inconvenience. |

Based in Midtown, well placed for all Manhattan sites. Currently under goin some re modelling, bar and restaurant. That said PAX deli next door compensates for food on the hoof. Some rooms in need of remidal works, windows, water faucets etc! but do not be deterred. |

The position of the hotel was brilliant for staying in New York - we had an offer so it was much cheaper than normal- we would not have been able to afford original prices - we have four grown children but were delighted with everything about the hotel - coffee making facilities would have made it perfect |

The hotel staff was extremely help[ful allowed us to check in early and let us leave our bags in the locker due to a late flight. They also provided us with umbrellas since it was raining and we didnt bring any. The first few nights the bedding used was hard and made alot of noise |

Great location, we could see the Chrysler building from our window, also 5 minutes away from the subway; large and very elegant rooms with huge comfortable bed; clean bathroom with no funky smells. Noise. The window did not close properly on the last night we spent there, and even at the 41st floor the noise was to loud to get a good sleep. Also, the ventilator in the bathroom could not be turned off, causing an additional but bearable noise. |
