First off I want to thank the Night Hotel for their great customer service. When I arrived at 10am and my check-in time wasn't until 3pm they offered to lock and hold my belongings until my room was ready. Within minutes they upgraded my room and allowed me to check in at 11am without paying any additional costs. The rooms were very clean and whenever I requested anything from conceirge they arrived in less than 5 minutes. The service was impecable and went above and beyond my expectations. The location was perfect and minutes away from every attraction. I absolutely love love love this hotel. Thank you!!!!!

The room was the size of a queen bed with about 50cm to the left, right and foot of the bed. The toilet clogged on the first night we stayed. The shower trickled water with hardly any pressure. The shower curtains were black, the tiles were black, so it was like showering in a dark corner. The room decor despite being funky, showed signs of wear (rust on metal surfaces and scums in the shower, tears in the closet wall) the reception could not provide a universal wall adapter. Wifi internet access was charged at $10 per 24 hours per device, which is disappointing given the amount of free wi-fi there is around the city. The air conditioning was overly noisy and made rattling noises. The establishment is more of a bar than a hotel. All-in-all a very distasteful experience. Also as we were checking out, tried to charge us for an umbrella that they claimed we didnt return (we did).

I had a terrible two nights as there is construction going on all night long on 45th street. Make sure to ask them to give you a room that is not on the street!

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. It is walking distance to Time Square and Midtown shopping The rooms were small but I guess that's New York for you. And hotel is a bit darkly lit in keeping with their gothic theme

The service and staff were very professional and accomodated every request. The hotel is sexy and contemporary. The beds were outrageously comfortable. The lounge area had wonderful music and the staff were always friendly and courteous. The rooms were small even by New York standards. That being said, when we checked out and commented to the front desk person, he said if he had know they would have moved us to a bigger room. Lesson learned! He was truly apologetic for something that wasn't even his fault. Take a chance and stay at Night Hotel!

Cute, sexy vibe - boutique feel. Very comfortable bed with feather comforter, mattress cover, and pillows. Simple and streamlined hotel concept - not paying for extras the typical overnight traveler never uses. Extremely small room, but felt cozy and fine for one night. I don't expect much in nyc for less than $300/night - this was better than most. Very tough to work - tiny desk, poor lighting, small stool vs chair, squeezed in by the bed. Don't mind small room, but lack of workspace is a problem.

Cool theme...I like the whole black and white/ gothic style that is portrayed throughout the hotel. The bed is extremely comfy which plays a great part if you're staying with a partner. Room was very clean as well as the shower. I know it's Manhattan but the only downfall is the size of the room. Place was great and will definitely be staying there again!

Front check staff are great; professional; and courteous; room mimic night during the day, which I love; location was perfect, east and west side trains easily assessable; and no sign of bed bugs!! Big plus. - Dirty carpets with visible stains - solid tissues and discarded trash under the bedding - upon entry room stunk of cigarettes smoke - shower too small; curtain free flowing, needs weights at bottom to prevent touching person while showering - visible mold between tiles in shower - bed was not comfortable due to raised spilt in platform frame; forced to sleep on right of the mattress - continuous noises from either guests slamming their doors or cleaning staff in the hallway all hours of the day/night preventing me from getting more then 2 hours of sleep at a time - climate control is too loud which also contributed to lack of sleep - I left the hotel feeling worst then when I arrived.

Unique design, perfect location. Chocolates and weather forecast on the bed every evening. Great big shower despite small room. Small room is what it says but once you're prepared it's fine, lovely bed. Bed was a bit short for boyfriend who is 5'11" but plenty of pillows. Located between Times Sq and 6th ave, best location I've stayed in after 8 trips to ny As above, bed was a bit short but didn't really bother me. Air- conditioning was quite noisy and the room was very warm (in november) had to get a bottle of water before returning to the room.

Loved the design- cozy room; great black & white decor- very sexy. Lobby was tiny but very cool and never crowded. The bed was very comfortable. Room service was prompt, courteous & efficient. Tv was great as was the black out curtains. I have read other reviews that the hotel & rooms were "too dark," but I liked it; that is the look & style of this place. Location was outstanding, and the small boutique style and cool, dark, lounge-y style with great lobby music was the perfect edgy antiodote to the very loud, mainstream, touristy Times Square outside. Bonus Starbucks right down the street. Would stay there at the Night again! The shower was a bit strange...left pools of water to soak the floor due to the design of the bathroom. Lounge dj could be heard on our 2nd floor room; not terrible but still loud. Construction across the street was very loud, but that won't fo on forever, and not the Night hotel's fault.

Staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to help me with everything and anything I needed such as store locations our anything about the city, subway, anything in new york - the one gentleman even asked me to call him ifI got lost or couldn't find the store that I was looking for so he could help me find my way. Everything is super clean, perfect location. I am definitely recommending this hotel to everyone! And I am going to stay here again when I come back to get away from ohio. They even remember you by name here and out was our first time here. Stay here.you also get 400 channels on your T.V. which is something you don't get with the other places. Nothing other than the mini bar, I've never stayed at a place that you had to pay for the items.

Good location and staff is nice The size of the room was ok but the closet was in the dark so really not convenient. And the room could have done with more lights and another mirror.

Location. bathroom is pretty well equipped. Some staff and robe, iron are in place I expected stylish black-n-white design. In reality, primitive, not clean interior, very dark and boring. Rooms are really very very small. Firstly I was suggested a tiny room with the window to the wall in front of me, close to ventilation or wahtever so it was terrbly noisy. I required to change the room and they did it in 15min. New room was a little bigger. ANYWAY, inspite I was alone in a double room there were no place even to put a luggage. New room's window looked at the construction.

Location is great as is the doorman/porter. The staff are very friendly. Although the hotel seems modern in design, it's dark and difficult to see in the rooms and hallways. The lounge on main floor is very loud (blaring disco music). Our room faced the street, which was very noisy. The walls are paper thin, insomuch that we woke up to conversations at 6:00am. The washroom is very small with no tub, which after walking the city all day, it would have been nice to soak in a bath.

Good location next to Times Square, clean room. Different but nice interior. Check out time at 12 and not 11 like many other hotels NYC, Very nice and helpful staff. a very small room for a high price (as all other hotels i NYC). WiFi costs $ 10 per day for the hotel guests, which felt a bit expensive when Starbucks next door offers free WiFi.

Loved the ambience and decor Two things were not good: 1. Wi=-Fi in the room is an extra $10 charge. What hotel these days doesn't have free internet for guests. At the hotel's regular prices, $10 extra for wi-fi is ridiculous. On top of this, when I decided to go ahead and get it, the hotel had "run out" of passwords! What is that? 2. Upon booking the room, my bank card was charged. Upon checking in, they charged it again - and as of now, two days later, that second incorrect charge has not be refunded in my bank account. It really screwed up cash flow.

Theme of hotel was unique and modern. I enjoyed the convenience of the hotel to Times Square - amazingly only about a half of block away from the action. Rooms are small and quaint, but the style and design made up for size. Bed was soft and comfortable. Room was dark and cool - which made it hard to get up in the morning! Room has only a classy shower, which was fine with all the shampoos, soaps, etc. included. Room has a minibar, which was hidden beneath table and but could not be used to store personal items. Hotel charges for internet, which meant I had to cart my laptop next door to Starbucks. I didn't mind too much and wasn't too concern with that little inconvenience.
