Staff was excellent-very responsive!
Room was small for the price and the view was horrible
The personnel at this hotel his awesome. Always nice, really to help you with everything. We travel a lots and this hotel his the best hotel we stay
We can ear the music from the steak house restaurant his little loud.
Beds were awful. Super firm. Yes pillow top and were probably comfy 10 years ago. Calling this hotel a luxury hotel is a bit of a stretch.
Everything was amazing. Including the restaurants.
It was a nice, clean hotel room. The staff was helpful. 200 character minimum huh? Ok, I am trying to figure out how to get red wine stains out of a carpet
The advertisement showed a fireplace/living room, which there was not. The room was very small. I paid extra for a room with a "view," turns out the curtains are fixed in place and I needed to move furniture to hold them aside so I could have a view of the building next to me. Not what I expected at all. Overpriced, undersized, a very poor overall value.
The lobby is more than a lobby, it's a place to spend quality time. The rooftop really steps the experience up a notch. The rooms are very comfortable.
The showers/baths were a little small, and although the fitness center is fantastic, it would have been nice to have a locker room to change.
- Location - Nice staff - Luxury hotel
Parking fee was overly expensive
Location Beds Bathroom
Fixing the elevator at check-out time.
This hotel is all and above what it advertise, loved it.
Room was great. Very nice bar/restaurant area. Walking distance to water and shops.
Parking fee for car was a little high but limited places to park in the area
Everything; very elegant experience. We have been coming to The Nines for several years and love the service, the ambiance, and Portland.
The decor is fun and very well done and the staff are excellent.
The booking confirmed by Booking.com had gone missing but fortunately the hotel did have availability and honoured the booking giving us an upgrade and discount
No robes. Had to ask for them. No bathtub, just a shower.
8th floor lobby was unusual but fun. Restaurants were beautiful and bar felt very hip. Get there early for outdoor seating though. Breakfast at Urban Farmer great and reasonable.
Urban Farmer dinner was pricey
Front desk staff is not very helpful.
Overall feel is okay, certainly not over-the-top
Great Hotel, posh interiors, great terrace overlooking Portland, amazing continental breakfast at the Urban Farmer restaurant.
i love the in-room stumptown coffee.
room size was a bit small, but cozy.
Staff was excellent, very professional and pleasant. Dinner in the restaurant was very good.
Very noisy. Could hear delivery trucks throughout the night. In addition, was able to hear the guest in the adjoining room - talking, toilet flushing, alarm going off. Also, could hear people slamming room doors and talking in the hallway. Made for a miserable nights sleep - actually, very little sleep.
Location of hotel Bed was insanely cozy Friendly professional staff
Valet price too high
Ambiance Restaurant Options Vibe Decor
i stayed just one night and twice there was hysteric knocking at the doors of the entire floor for two useless reasons: 1) asking if there is need for room service in the late afternoon 2) check if I already checked out. That was annoying and preventable.
Loud music from the club
The Nine's hotel was a fantastic location in down town Portland and provided many great experiences for me and my partner, with no cost for travel we where able to walk everywhere. Prime Location. The decoration of the lobby and rooms was amazing and perfect for couples looking for a romantic vibe. The restaurants within the hotel are a must visit!! they provided the highest quality of food and tastes that will amaze you and leave you great memories. Overall the price was a little high for mainly only sleeping in the room but if your planning on a perfect romantic trip with your other half, you don't have to think twice.
Excellent staff from the door men, to the front desk, and the staff working at the Urban Farmer, and The Departure. Wonderful views of the City. Beautiful hotel. In the middle of all the shopping and easy access to public transportation.
I wasn't too impressed with was the comfort of the pillows in my room. They were a bit flat, not very comfy. My duvet cover had a couple stains on it. Also the shower gel was empty upon arrival. For an upscale hotel and the cost per night this shouldn't happen.
