Only thing which happened. Reserved certain room. Not available when arrived. Then received upgraded room
Veryinteresting and nice looking people. Enjoyed room, and amenities. Restaurant and great bar.
I have been visiting New York City for eleven years and the Nad is by far my favorite hotel . I love the decor and style of this hotel . The rooms are large by any standard and I love the high ceilings. The bathrooms provide one with privacy. Our room over the atrium was very quiet. I will return the Nomad .
I was there for a week and am not sure if I slept a full night even once as it was so noisy.
Amazing rooms. You feel like you are at home instead of in a hotel.
Check in time 3.00
No dresser in room.
Rooms were very nicely furnished, very cool accessories.
Loved the library! It was our favorite part. The hostess and servers recognized us nightly and knew we were there for the Big East Tournament. They asked nightly how our team did! Everything about the Nomad was fantastic -- we will return -- SOON!
Quite noisy from street if in a lower room
Very quaint. Bar area great. Staff very friendly & helpful
We took a suite and an adjoining "atelier room". The design is idiosyncratic. The suite's bathroom feels huge, but there's not much shelf space to put out two people's toiletries. We ended up using the bathtub for this purpose. The atelier room has an open type bathroom, with the shower compartment opening up to the washbasin and, practically, the bed. The toilet is in its own separate room with a tiny sink. Again, lovely, but not the most practical arrangement. Then again, you would not go to the Nomad for practical reasons.
The service was great, and the hotel is perfectly located in Manhattan's Nomad neighborhood, near the Flatiron building and Madison Square Park. A few minute's walk to the huge Eataly.
Room smaller than I expected, though beautiful--would have liked coffee maker in room.
Beautiful Room, Interesting Quirky Art on walls--not the least bit corporate feeling. Attentive staff, nice clientele.
Location in dirty area.
Great and friendly staff!
The bedroom doors are heavy and when the person in the next room opens/closes, it is very loud.
Staff, sitting room, restaurant.
Greate environment, location and services. Highly recommended!
Lovely place to stay. Location was perfect. Loved how the room was decorated..so comfy.
Staff, room, bar
Some of the staff at check-in could be friendlier. But the fellow named James was very courteous and helpful. Sadly, some rooms don't have bathtubs.
The entire building was perfectly designed and stored. The hotel is very properly operated. From soundproof to bathroom amenities, the rooms are perfect in every detail.
Having to make a reservation in the bar just to have a drink. Lack of a large lobby area.
Library as a restful place and not always having to be in one's room. The staff was most accommodating, friendly and helpful.
Staff at reception was stuck-up but staff in general was great, helpful and pleasant.
Rooms are great
Reception staff was very rude when checkin Asked quiet room but got one near elevators running all night long Asked 2 pm checkout no response Gym is super tiny and pood 5star hotel should have spa and pool, not there...
Rooms were clean
Staff at reception can be rude.
The beds are very comfortable
Beautiful decor, luxurious surroundings and service, hip and comfortable restaurant and bar scene.
Very small room even after complimentary upgrade. No tea/coffee making facilities
Centrally located, close to subway Comfortable bed View of the Empire State building No stinginess on fresh linen and towels Good service
The smell of food in the corridor between the rooms
The atmosphere, the friendly staff
