The room was smaller than expected for an Atelier room. I stayed in a larger Classic room during my previous stay. Space-wise there is almost no storage space and toilet is far away from the shower.
Very nice hotel overall in a very good location.

V friendly staff

Would have liked for the doorman to be more accommodating about calling/flagging down cabs for those staying at the hotel.
Very cool rooms, extremely comfortable bed! Loved the restaurant and bars as well. Also added plus that Maison Kitsune, one of my favorite boutiques, is connected to the hotel.

The only criticism is that the lighting was poor, rather dark in the hotel and room.

Great location ...

A couple of things. The brand of streaming audio system is iHome. It’s not wireless model in the room, right? It has only 40-pin connector for apple devices not lighting. So, you need to bring adapter for it. . Bar refrigirator are noisy.
I stayed in atelier room. . Requests. I requested the room facing 28th street, bathtub and Empire state building view. Everything was done. Perfect, thanks! . Hotel, room, design. I love everything about it. Black stylish look, wood floors, nice small working desk, bathtub near windows, rain shower, the windows can be opened, nicest cleaning ladies. . Wi-Fi. It's 16Mbit/s = 2mb. Not slow, just fine but not great. . Elevator. Actually it's 3 of them. Convenient, you don't have to wait. . Eat. I didn't try food in the hotel but sweetgreen right here in the building. Awesome organic, fresh salads, brown rice, quinoa with gluten-free, veg options which you can customise whatever you want. Juice Press near Mad. Sq. South left corner. Mad. Sq. Eats in the park if your are visiting in the right time. Plenty of great choices like famous Roberta’s pizza with mobile oven from Brooklyn, lobster rolls, noodles, ect. Google for urban space nyc. Perk Kafe with outstanding coffee in 0.8 mile or 2 Starbucks just near by. Grocery's in Whole Foods Market 0.5 mile. . I choose between Ace and Nomad hotel in this location. Nomad fulfill expectations.

Crowded bars and restaurants

The wine list in the resto is outrageous unbalanced in price ( never remember seeing it anywhere). Basically there is nothing under 100 except a brouilly!
Mid- town location (good for habitués of ny), original rooms, confi beds, good resto, fantastic bar, attentive personnel

Halls and lobby are dark. I lost a bracelet while walking from my room to the lobby and couldn't fine it. The staff was rather indifferent to this situation. The friendliness is on the surface no real ability to deal with unexpected events.
Decor and size of the rooms

The location and the style of hotel

The hotel decorations were stylish and clean. We liked the toilet location separated from the shower and room.

Only thing which happened. Reserved certain room. Not available when arrived. Then received upgraded room

I have been visiting New York City for eleven years and the Nad is by far my favorite hotel . I love the decor and style of this hotel . The rooms are large by any standard and I love the high ceilings. The bathrooms provide one with privacy. Our room over the atrium was very quiet. I will return the Nomad .

I was there for a week and am not sure if I slept a full night even once as it was so noisy.
Amazing rooms. You feel like you are at home instead of in a hotel.

No dresser in room.
Rooms were very nicely furnished, very cool accessories.

Loved the library! It was our favorite part. The hostess and servers recognized us nightly and knew we were there for the Big East Tournament. They asked nightly how our team did! Everything about the Nomad was fantastic -- we will return -- SOON!

Quite noisy from street if in a lower room
Very quaint. Bar area great. Staff very friendly & helpful

We took a suite and an adjoining "atelier room". The design is idiosyncratic. The suite's bathroom feels huge, but there's not much shelf space to put out two people's toiletries. We ended up using the bathtub for this purpose. The atelier room has an open type bathroom, with the shower compartment opening up to the washbasin and, practically, the bed. The toilet is in its own separate room with a tiny sink. Again, lovely, but not the most practical arrangement. Then again, you would not go to the Nomad for practical reasons.
The service was great, and the hotel is perfectly located in Manhattan's Nomad neighborhood, near the Flatiron building and Madison Square Park. A few minute's walk to the huge Eataly.

Room smaller than I expected, though beautiful--would have liked coffee maker in room.
Beautiful Room, Interesting Quirky Art on walls--not the least bit corporate feeling. Attentive staff, nice clientele.

The bedroom doors are heavy and when the person in the next room opens/closes, it is very loud.
Staff, sitting room, restaurant.
