The building is old and not in a nostalgic way. No electrical outlets in the bathroom for the girls. Shared balcony with neighboring room & sliding glass door isn't very secure. Screen door was leaning against glass door. Room smelled like a musky basement that hadn't been opened in years. Entry door to room is a hollow core door that a rather weak person could punch through. Room air conditioner was installed in a hole in the wall, not plugged in because there wasn't an outlet within 6 feet. Had to unplug lights and tv to use outlets for other electronics. Motel 6 just a few blocks away was $25 cheaper. We would have stayed there but rooms were scarce and didn't want to take a chance on not having a place to stay. The Ogden River Inn is a little better than sleeping in the car. Only a little.
The convenience to the train station.
Broken toilet tank kept running all night. Stained/torn sheets. No clean towels the 2nd day. Bed not made between days. Dirty towels not removed. Cigarette burn holes in the bed linens in a non smoking room.
Not in the best part of town I guess. Felt unsafe, no deadbolt on the door but the hardware from where the chain might have been. Manager knocking on my door in the morning questioning me about having paid a pet fee even after I noted on my reservation that I needed a pet friendly room.
1. Filthy carpet 2. No daily room service only weekly 3. Microwave missing plate 4. Lightbulbs missing 5. No hangers 6. Not enough linens etc 7. Air conditioner weak 8. Fitness room was in shambles 9. Homeless people appeared to be living there and working there
The location, for what I was doing, was perfect. The staff was friendly and I slept well.
It was just very basic. No coffee maker and no cups for hot water to make my own instant coffee in microwave. Rust stains in the toilet.
Closest cheap hotel to downtown
A friends room had visibly dirty sheets and the woman at the front desk said the maid had missed a couple of rooms. When they went to get new sheets the woman continued to smoke a cigarette while grabbing them a new set. There was no offer of reimbursement for the room in terrible condition. Would not recommend anyone staying here regardless of the cheap price. Spend a little more to not have to stay in this dump.
The room was clean and the staff was friendly. It's not in the best neighborhood but I didn't feel like I was going to have any problems. And I didn't-it was just fine.
The TP was overlooked and I had to ask for some from the desk. Seriously not the worst thing I've ever had to deal with.
Location was close to places we needed to be at, but should have listened to previous reviews!
Walked in room, smelled horrible. Cigarette burns in blanket in non-smoking room. Tried to get a different one-none available. No plugs in bathroom. Tub rusty and dirty like another guest posted. Remote for TV didn't work. Non-smoking room, but people next door on both sides had cigarette ash trays on their balcony they used a lot. Our airconditioner blew in from the balcony-REALLY it rated as the worst room we ever rented. Spend a little more. Need to demolish the place!!
This is not a 3 star, but a 1 star place. Used mainly by the locals, so a little on the seedy side.
price wasn't too bad
"non smoking" room had cigarette burns in bedspread, and slight smoke odor. Floor and carpet dirty, had a water break in another room at about 8 am, shut the whole place down just in time for morning showers.
Location is swell - it was clean enough - air-condition worked well - good shower pressure - cable on cheapo tv but worked well - washer and dryer are inexpensive $1.25 - microwave and fridge worked well
I had no internet the whole time and staff did not know who to contact to resolve the issue; no tech numbers to call, no awareness of service provider, no knowledge of trouble-shooting procedures, I needed the internet for business, checked out after one day
I was able to sleep at least perhaps I was just very tired from driving all day.
Over comfort ain't that great.
Worst shower ever! I was afraid we would fall thru the floor!
Close to everything.
Horribly uncomfortable bed. Shower would scald you anytime a toilet was flushed anywhere in the building.
The front desk staff was super friendly.Extremely helpful went well out of her way. She recommended a super good restaurant right next to the motel . Best pizza we've had in along time (Slackwater Pub) .
The front of the building could use a bit of attention . The weeds could be pulled and just a little TLC given to it . Would make it a little more welcoming .
This place was a dump, can't believe it got a 5.4 on the booking.com site. Lady checking us in was polite, but her 200+ guard dog was very scary & loud. The place was beyond gross, I have stayed at M**** 6 and it was cleaner. NEVER again would I stay here.
nothing, it was dirty and worn down. The person on duty couldn't even check us in. She was babysitting a toddler, She was the Grandmother of the toddler and was dressed inappropriately in cut off shorts and a very dirty and low cut tank top. She couldn't figure out how to check us in. We went else where. We would not recommend.

Bed was comfortable, room was reasonably clean.
Area of town seemed a little sketchy. Door did not have a chain lock or dead bolt, just the twist lock on the knob.
It was clean and comfortable
The location had a lot to be desired. A lot of shady characters were hanging around the exterior of the hotel smoking and loitering. The faucet and toilet in the facility were loose and required maintenance.
Located close to the center of Ogden
Quality of rooms and staff was lacking.
The staff at the Inn were really friendly. It was cheap.
There were several things that didn't work, including the wifi. We had to shut the toilet off at bedtime because it would run every 10 minutes, loudly. There were people starting cars / driving in and out at about 3:00 in the morning. I'd give this one a pass if I were you.
i did not like a thing.
no disabled person facilities. rooms not kept up, no hot water. will never stay again. no elevator. needs lots of work.
