Hotel very clean and and also the room
Very bad experience in you restaurant food took to long and steaks over cook serveci need to improve
I must admit it was much better then I thought it would be. The Resort is a bit older and could use a renovation, but it is clean and kept up pretty well.
To be honest, I didnt have any major issues. The bed was a little uncomfortable for me to sleep in. I woke up the next morning very sore. My boyfriend on the other hand slept like a baby. I witnessed a couple people up at the desk with minor complaints, but they seemed to be getting helped with proper customer service.
Staff was very helpful
The hotel and rooms are beatifull. The Staff is really nice and friendly. As we were in our honeymoon they gave us a really nice room!! My wife and I love this place!!!
Everything was great from the room the staff and the price.
Wifi really didn't work anywhere.
This location is a great get away from the lights and pace of Las Vegas. Perfect for locals, great for business people that want to get away. The lack of telephone reception here made for a quiet, peaceful get away stay.
The WiFi only worked for the evening we arrived. It was down for the remainder of our 2 day visit.
The fireplace in the Rom was amazing!
Couldn't get WiFi. Poor signal.
Nice lobby fireplace and bar. Hoping for real logs it was electric. Xmas time they had cookies for guest.
I liked the location and the theme of the hotel.
1) They did not get my reservation correct when I called and confirmed the night before. 2) I asked for a room with a fireplace (extra$65)and there was no firewood available. 3) It was my wifes birthday so I asked for strawberries and champagne with the room (extra $35) I do not drink alchohol so I asked for sparkling cider. They would not give a discount. It took 2 hours after check in to get them. 4) The room heater did not work (but they did have a back up heater) 5) They advertise as a Spa and Resort. There was no pool, spa, massages, facials, manicure or pedicures. So there is no Spa or Resort.
Was happy to leave
First thing I saw in my room was an envelope from the maid inviting my tip. No wifi and no phone signals. Shower could not produce warm water. Stay away. Better to sleep in car.
Service was extremely slow. Rooms were small
Not much to do at the actual resort unless you were outside on the mountain. Good for two nights but would opt to spend more money for the cabins near the lodge on my next stay.
Everything good except right side.
No wifi, No Elevator.
The hot chocolate was amazing along with the view and the resturant food was amazing.
The customer service was the worst by far. Bartender woman was horrible.
Restaurant attendant told us we needed reservation and the restaurant was not full went to front desk and asked didn't need to make reservation ...they canceled my room by mistake....no extra blankets...
TO START THIS RESORT IS NOT FOR OLD PEOPLE, THERE IS NO ELEVATOR TO GET TO 2ND OR 3RD FLOOR, THEY HAVE A PIANO BUT NO PLAYER, THE FOOD IS 50/50 i COULD HAVE A NEW ROOM AT SLS RESORT FOR THE SAME MONEY AND MORE AMMENITIES
On Mt. Charleston -- but . . . near base, not top, and next to construction, and bright signs by road obliterate night sky.
Basically old and making money off weddings and other parties. Obnoxiously loud music (live band) in party room next to lobby and restaurant. Speaking of restaurant, service was beyond amazingly slow. Every table (maybe 4 or 5 in whole place) was complaining.
I stayed the night before my wedding in July. The honeymoon suite was really lovely, spacious and comfortable and had plenty of room for the hair and make up people. The staff were very friendly and the location is great. It's the idyllic place for a wedding.
It does need a refurb in the main areas for sure. We also couldn't get room service as they were short staffed. It took 20 mins to do toast for 3 people and we had to collect it. We ate on the restaurant and the food was nice but it took 30mins for a salad. Staff were really lovely but there just isn't enough of them. It's a shame this total gem is being let go.
Well known getaway in the mountains above Las Vegas.
It was empty
Access to great scenery
The place is a bit long in the tooth on service and cleanliness. The carpet is about 5 years past its useful life. The place kinda has you captive, given its 17 mile jaunt from civilization. The restaurant has some serious problems...either understaffed or bad attitudes amongst staff. It was a bad experience for us. We originally booked three nights and we left after the first night... couldn't see spending my hard-earned money on bad service, stinky carpet (especially stairways) and poor service. We headed to Hampton Inn/West Las Vegas-Summerlin and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of our stay! Until this MtCharleston gets fresh management and a complete facelift, skip it...,
Cool climate compared to Las Vegas
NO wi if limited despite being advertised, talked to staff, coverage is continually bad, cell coverage is limited.
Location Scenic views Good beds
No Wifi available
Staff was nice!
Food service was awful, waiting a half hour just for coffee! The balcony in the room had no chairs to sit on plus it was like a cube. Bathrooms needed to be cleaned
Location and food was great!
Front desk staff need customer service training. Specifically, being sure to greet guests as soon as they approach the front desk. Also, Wi-Fi did not work.
location, authentic ski lodge foyer with log chiminee
rice that came with filet steak was hardly cooked.
