Centrally located.Close to restaurants. Ice machine out of order for entire 4 days. Parking arrangement problematic(had to get out of car to press to have gate opened in a poor area, safety wise) |

I liked the overall feel of the place with some quirkiness but not too much, clean and seemed well managed. Breakfast stopped on the dot at 9 am and that felt a bit early. it is fine and fits in with requirements of cleanliness, reasonable value for SF. |

The high standard of the rooms. I stayed in a Junior Suite on my first visit and a standarsd room on my second. |

Big quiet room (which is hard to find in this part of town), helpful and cheerful desk staff (also hard to find), good value, pretty good location. Too many French tour groups who block the entire lobby area at any time of day. Breakfast is a waste of time (also too many tour groups!) but at least it's free. Or is it? |

Wine and cheeze social; breakfast were very well done. The pianist was an unexpected delight. The street noise (lots of racket till early am and garbage pickup rattled us a bit) |

Reception staff were friendly and offered to store my luggage on departure day. Ended up with a smoking room, but do not recall specifying smoking or non-smoking until I saw it on the confirmation. Although they assured me all rooms were treated for smoke, I did not enjoy the smell at all. The booking should have warned me only smoking rooms available. |

Nice comfortable room and well-appointed hotel in general. The internet didn't work in my room and the breakfast was lacking, in terms of choice and space/ |

Hotel staff was excellent, especially a front desk individual by the name of Brad. I forgot to return my keys and called him from the airport and said I would have my Bay Shuttle driver return it later during the day - he was most forgiving. Being able to grab a cup of coffee on the way in or out was par excellence. Yes, the breakfast room can be very crowded especially during the last hour. My family and I stayed for 5 nights and the fares did not change one bit. The lady who work there was an excellent individual - very accommodating and courteous. And she worked very hard to please everyone! The opening hours, in my opinion, was too short.. |

The staff was great. The position is ok, since it's walking distance from union square During the night the area around seems to be not safe. Maybe it's just an impression since we had no problems. |

Nice hotel close to the city centre. Make sure that your room is not in front of the elevator door. |
