The most friendly staff we have encountered in a long while. JUST A SUGGESTION:Coffee in the lobby along with fresh cookies from across the street would have been fantastic.

Very friendly, professional staff. Everyone was nice and always had a smile on their face, but not at all in an obnoxious way. Sam is very helpful. The room is quite large and spacious, and the bed comfy. Bathroom is nicely done, too. Location is excellent - right on West 3rd, a couple minutes' walk from the Beverly Center, great restaurants on 3rd, and boutique shops. Walls were a little thin; any loud noise in the hallway could be heard. However, guests were very courteous and I did not hear any noise at night.

The location is great, you can walk to Melrose area where you have great restaurants and shops. The staff was great, especially at check in. Room is big and quiet (last floor). After 11 pm, the dining in menu is super restricted and the items are definitely not the most appealing. It took a long time for my luggage to be delivered to the room.

Spacious room and sitting room. They changed from a table service breakfast at the Churchill to a buffet for $13, which was frankly pretty meager. It would be nice to have a full breakfast available at the hotel.

The front desk staff are excellent and very helpful in addition to the great location of the hotel at 3rd street near to many great locations such as the Grove & Beverly center. Actually nothing bad about this hotel, maybe the parking fees which is a little bit high.

Very simple set-up, nice restaurant downstairs. Perfect location in West la. Parking can be a problem, but there is a $29/night valet option (thumbs down) Try to find street parking nearby.

The staff at the reception were so accomodating, helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and the restaurant serves excellent meals. We enjoyed our breakfast there especially the poached eggs with the mouth watering burrata!!! I still can"t get that out of my mind!! Lovely boutique hotel to stay and so close to many delectable restaurants.. and nearby shopping at the Beverley Centre and small quaint boutiques along 3rd street . We enjoyed ourselves browsing and of course discovering the Farmer"s market which is a 15 minute short walk from the hotel . Great location to see all the famous sites as the hop on/off bus is just within walking distance. Will definitely stay at this hotel again on our next visit and want to thank the Management and staff of the hotel for a wonderful stay .

The Orlando was very clean, and the front desk staff and valet men were great. They were all very nice, cheerful, and helpful. The hallways were clean and smelled good - I have been in many hotels that had musty smelling hallways, this was definitely not the case here. The room was large, super clean, and well-appointed, as was the bathroom and shower. The bed was comfortable and the a/c worked REALLY well! My only 'complaint' with the hotel was actually with the restaurant attached to the hotel. The Churchill restaurant was extremely slow serving breakfast on Sunday morning. There were maybe 3 or 4 other tables with patrons in the restaurant when our party of 3 arrived. It took almost 15 minutes to get our drinks and another 10 before they took our order. After having been there almost 40 minutes the food began to come out. My suspicion is that the wait staff and maybe some of the kitchen staff were late coming in to work? Unfortunately we were there for over an hour and we were on somewhat a time schedule; we ended up missing out on telling our son who lives in L.A. goodbye, which was very upsetting to me as we don't get to see him often! (Thanks to the front desk person for the Kleenex- a few tears were shed from my upset.)

The Staff were fabulous and went way beyond basic customer service. Nothing was too dificult and a smile greeted you every time you entered the Hotel foyer. I would recommend the Orlando to anyone visiting LA. It is situated in a quiet and very safe part of West Hollywood close to the Beverly Center and The Grove. An abundance of restaurant's align the street and the rooms a very comfortable, tasteful and spacious. Just a great place to stay all in all.

The location of the Orlando is spot on. Right in the middle of a bunch of restaurants, shops, bars and in close walking distance to the Grove, Farmers market, CBS Studios, LACMA. The front desk staff were amazing! I travel a lot (at least 1 hotel overnight each week) and these guys were great fun. Very professional, very knowledgeable about the area round their hotel and what to do and very interested in the wellbeing of their guests. None of the stereotypical "have a nice day" greetings you get in other hotels, but a genuine interest. Paul, Jeff and Sam were very helpful and really went beyond what I would have expected to be "normal" duties of front desk staff. my room was big, comfortable with good linen and great bathroom amenities.

I found the Orlando to be in a great location with Hollywood to your right and Beverley Hills to your left. The Farmers Market and the Grove about a 10 minute walk was fantastic. Had yummy chicken satay skewers at the Farmers market! The Beverley Center (shops) was great and a just with a short bus ride to Rhodeo Drive you would be in Rodeo Drive, Beverley Hills. The Churchhill (bar) downstairs made great pizzas and drinks were very reasonable. Staff were excellent, very friendly and always did their best to help. The room was to my standard, exceptionally clean and the bed extremely comfortable. If you don't need a big fancy hotel, this is the place to come. All was perfect for us. The only downside was we didn't stay longer. Great boutique hotel!

The room was excellent and we had a view of the Hollywood sign in the distance from our window. The bed was comfortable, big TV, airconditioned and the bathroom was modern with very nice toiletries. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful plus the location was excellent. The street the hotel is situated on is full of nice and trendy cafes, restaurants etc. It is only a quick 2min drive or short walk to Farmers Market.

The staff was AMAZING!! They were completely helpful, polite, courteous and wonderful. They helped us to book transport and a trip to Catalina Island. Their tips saved us money and helped us to be comfortable. It didn't matter what staff member you spoke to.....they were ALL efficient and super helpful. My daughter and I LOVED it there. The rooms were absolutely lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay :) THANK YOU!! The only thing that was a bit frustrating was the wifi......it wasn't a very strong signal and we had to be in certain parts of the hotel room to get it to work. They did have a business area that you could used complimentary computers and printers but just to get personal info quickly off of our cell phones within the room proved to be trying. However, the staff were so amazing that we didn't want to complain!!

This small hôtel is still family owned. Interesting location on W 3rd St. good for shopping and restaurants. Close to Beverly Center, not far from Farmers Market. Very welcoming.and professional staff. Room has a contemporary design, impeccable maintenance. Good amenities too. Small swimming pool. Valet parking is ok too. The Bar Churchill seems very popular amoung the young people (with DJ)
