Great location, staff was accomodating allowing for early check in at noon as opposed to 3pm. The building itself is very old, terrible plumbing. Overall it was a great place to lay your head down with excellent value, but if you are looking for something quiet, with nice decor, updated rooms and amenities this is not the place. Old building = terrible plumbing

The free parking and easy access at the corner of the street to the bus system makes it great to stay in. Parking fees in the city add up. Also we have never been aware on any noisy neighbors at Pacific Heights Inn and the neighborhood feels safe.

Check the negatives but generally, clean and tiny room.. S.Francisco rail stop, which will take you to the city centre is not so far, about 15 minutes on foot. Everything look a little bit old and used.. Breakfast very very simple, coffee good, but there is nothing much to eat, mainly when close to breakfast end time. There is nothing in the hotel vicinity, no restaurants, just small shops for basic stuff.

The room is large with good facilities but it needs retrofitting. Location is good including to get bus to downtown. Owners and front desk people are very helpful and polited. Beds are old and not comfortable any longer and shower flow is weak.

The location is good and it is cheap in a very expensive city. The rooms were very small and the lighting was bad. Difficult to read except in the bed.

The location in sf was really good. There's a bus stop in front of the hotel that goes straight to Union Square and Fishermann Wharf. Near Lombard St and restaurants. The rooms were very dark and hotel served a very small hot breakfast. The worst part was that the hotel didn't accept our international/traveler's visa card, only us credit card.

It was very close to the Marina district but is located at an area that is not too noisy. The owner is friendly and very helpful. The place overall is untidy around the perimeter and on the outside grounds. The room was decently clean. The toilet leaked, the shower dripped constantly, the T.V. was difficult to figure out, the rooms smelled old, the furniture is old and not very clean.

Pacific Heights Inn was a great location if you wanted to see the sights of San Francisco. It is within walking distance to Fishermans Wharf and many other eating establishments. Right around the corner is the famous crooked road.(Lombard Street) Golden Gate Bridge is a 5-10 minute drive. The staff was very helpful showing us the places to see and unfortunatly I forgot my camera, but within a week it was back in my hands thanks to the owner. The other great thing about this Inn is that they have on sight parking which saves you alot of parking fees. Highly recommend staying here. Need to update some of the furniture.

I had a room toward the back. It was very quiet, clean, but with a queen bed which was very comfortable, the room was a bit tight. However, for the price that I was able to get and the convenience of the location, I was very pleased.
