The Pacific heights has an excelent position 15 minute walk to pier 39 and waterside restaurants and close to route 101 that goes from the airport to the Golden Gate,- our room came with a useful kitchen and small but modern bathroom,- some occasional street noise. Will return on our next visit

We have stayed here previously so were looking forward to our stay. We found the room comfortable and adequate for our needs. An added bonus was our room had a second smaller room suitable for our 2 sons. I was disappointed on check-in to have to wait while the staff continued what they were already doing without acknowledging I was there. On our first morning I was annoyed to find there was no breakfast available, as this was included in the price and was told 'I'm sorry but the bakery was shut yesterday', surely as a hotelier it is your responsibility to make alternative arrangements? We have stayed here before but it seems the management has changed and we will probably not use this property again as we feel the standards have certainly slipped.

The location. The shower, good water pressure. The room smelled. It was suppose to be nonsmoking but there were cigarate buds on the window sill. The room need a good vacumning and dusting. Our Bathroom overflowed. The advetised breakfast was coffee and breads. A piece of fruit or yogart would of been nice.

This was a great little motel - lots of restaurants nearby. Super easy to get down to the Embarcadero. Very plain, but very comfortable. Breakfast is just muffins, pound cakes, OJ and coffee, but a diner is close by. Nice staff. I had to go back for a meeting and returned to the PH Inn again because it worked very well for my needs.

The manager when I checked in really was accomodating to help us part and make sure our rooms were what we required. I had students with me and we had a connecting room which was quite helpful.

Staff was extremely helpful. They give you 4 pillows (feather) instead of only 2. They gave us umbrellas to use when it was raining. The breakfast had excellant and large muffins, juice and coffee. Best of all, they printed out our boarding passes for our airplane the next day. I will definitely stay there again.

Great location Apparently there was a couple with a young baby below us and as we were getting ready at 7:30pm the staff called us to let us know we were being too loud. There were no other rooms available to move to so when we got back we whispered - the walls are paper thin!

Hotel staff were friendly, ready help, gave a good advices. This hotel was very expensive, it was like a simple motel. We didn't expect such level of room facilities for this price. Very poor breakfast.

Location, price, parking Great value if your tolerant of the lack of services. You get what you pay for. Black mold in shower, "continental breakfast" and bad coffee Rm. 10 Still great value for the price paid.

Location The room was extremely small and clairaudient; Entering the room you nearly made a step into the bed, no space for luggage, no hair dryer, fusty facilities. We were offered a continental breakfast: muffin and tea/coffee at the reception!

The staff were friendly and the location great and there was no charge for car parking The beadspreads are old fashioned and don't get a wash or clean very often. The breakfast was very poor. There was only artificial orange juice, tea and coffee and muffins. No room to sit down.

the location was great .... a short bus ride and you were in union square or fishermans wharf !! much better than paying the outrageous price to stay in rither of those locations ! Rooms fine , tv, coffee machine etc .... you not paying for 5 star luxury but was a great deal for our group !! limited breakfast selection .... seems you get up early fill a tray and take it all back to your room !!

Great location for this motel and reasonable price for the city. It could use some upgrading/brightening in the sleeping area with new paint and bedspreads, but it did the job - I.E. providing me with a safe, reasonably comfortable place to stay at a reasonable price. There is a corner grocery store 1/2 block away, numerous stores and restaurants about 4 blocks away, has free parking for your car, is close to a trolley line so you could park your car and use mass transportation saving you a lot of headaches. The rooms are not large but have the essential ingredients. The bathroom area looked clean and possibly remodeled in recent years. I left my favorite pillow there and called the next day and they had it in their lost and found room. They were willing to ship it to me (at my expense, of course). I really appreciated this. Nice helpful staff. Small rooms with no room for even a small table or comfortable chair to sit in.

Staff was super friendly. The room was super cold, they blocked the heater control so you couldn't make the room any warmer. There was quit a big gap in the front door so it almost felt like sleeping outside. Not nice.
